I sold two books and only received funds for one. The second book is mysteriously missing from my order history. Both books were shipped on the same day using UPS and the shipping labels provided by your company. I am concerned about the expensive book that seems to be missing from my history. I hope this is just a communication error that can be resolved.

I received an email from Chegg stating that my account was suspended due to negative reviews. The negative review in question was from a student who posted the same review twice. On that day, we had an internet connectivity issue, which caused a problem where the student couldn't receive my messages. Despite explaining the situation to the student, they did not respond and continued to leave negative reviews after each lesson. The student even acknowledged the connectivity issue over chat but still left negative feedback. It seems like the problem stemmed from the student's end, not mine.

On Thursday evening, I attempted to purchase an access code, but encountered technical issues leading to an error message every time I tried to confirm my order. Frustrated, I decided to wait until the next day to try again. On Friday, I logged into my Chegg account on my laptop, added the access code to my cart, and successfully placed the order, opting for a quicker shipping method which totaled $[redacted].12 with tax. However, upon checking my bank account, I noticed two pending charges - one for $[redacted].12 from the prior day and another for $[redacted].12 from Friday. After contacting Chegg, they confirmed only the $[redacted].12 order exists on my account, and there is no record of the $[redacted].12 charge. They reassured me that the additional charge should not go through as there is no evidence of it from their end. Unfortunately, both charges processed in my bank account, leaving me short of $[redacted] instead of the expected $[redacted]. This situation is concerning as a college student, and I urgently seek resolution to this financial discrepancy.

I am currently subscribed to Chegg under the email of [redacted] and I am being charged $19.95 monthly. However, I have noticed an additional charge of $14.95 from Chegg, which I believe may be related to another account. I contacted Chegg and provided them with the email addresses I use, but only one account was found linked to the email above. I do not recall creating a second account with a different email. I want to avoid being charged for a service I am not utilizing. In the past, I have canceled subscriptions when not needed, then re-subscribed using the same email. How can I prevent the $14.95 charge if I have no recollection of creating a second account, and how do I cancel this subscription?

I have noticed charges totaling $59.80 spread out over several months. I do not recall signing up for any Chegg subscription, and my attempts to log in with my university email have been unsuccessful; there is no associated account (I don't receive a password reset email). The PayPal account being charged is [redacted] Although I created an account in the past with the same email address, there is no transaction history on it. I have stopped the charges via PayPal as I am unable to access the account being billed to cancel any subscription. Could you please identify the account linked to these charges? I am requesting a refund of $59.80 as I have no recollection of subscribing to your service. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Natalie H. I requested an extension for the books I have now because I took a summer class that required one of the books. The books were due back today, July 1st. I realized that post offices and UPS stores are closed on Sundays, and I am not accustomed to using their services. Typically, I return my books on their due date, but with all the stores closed today, I am unable to do so. I am willing to return the books tomorrow, July 2nd, just a day late. I have rented books from your company several times and have always returned them on time and in good condition. I was hoping you could provide me with a one-day grace period this time.

I need assistance managing an issue with a solution I copied from Chegg for a problem submitted. The professor has recognized the plagiarism and is investigating. Unfortunately, Customer Service is unwilling to assist in removing it. How can I prevent it from appearing on Google or Chegg or have it deleted? Could asking the individual who posted the problem help? I believe there might be a flaw in the system. Here is the question in question: Select a group likely to experience groupthink and suggest strategies to prevent it. The copied answer is related to groupthink in a sports team. Groupthink may arise due to various factors such as differences in opinion, strategies, favoritism, and lack of coherence among players. To prevent groupthink, strategies like establishing common norms, avoiding favoritism, displaying strong leadership, providing equal opportunities, promoting conformity, and maintaining good relations are crucial for team performance.

I am requesting a refund for the rented books that were not used due to being unable to attend classes. As an 89-year-old on a fixed income, the fees charged have created a hardship as my social security check has been consumed. The books were returned without a label causing them to come back to me. I kindly ask for a refund considering the situation. My daughter will assist with any necessary communication. Please contact her via email. My name is Ella Washington; my previous address was [redacted] Interlachen Drive #[redacted], Silver Spring, MD [redacted]. My new address is [redacted] Bauer Drive, Unit 4, Rockville, MD [redacted]. I am hoping for a resolution and kindly request the issuance of two return labels. Thank you, Ella M. Washington.

I rented a book from Chegg but ended up dropping the class, forgetting about the book among my other books. As a first-time Chegg user, I used an email I don't check often due to skepticism. Unaware of the return date passing, I didn't receive any reminders to that email. Upon receiving my June credit summary, I was shocked to see charges from Chegg on my card. Despite being late, I have the book in pristine condition and wish to return it for a refund. Could you assist me with this matter?

I inadvertently rented my Nakama 2 lab manual instead of buying it. The rental price is $[redacted], while the purchase price is $[redacted]. In my college course, we write in the manual and hand it in, so I don't understand how one can simply rent it. I don't want to resort to copying [redacted] pages. My concern is that the lab manual might already be filled out when I get it. When I tried to buy out my rental, it was $20 more, which I find unreasonable. Is there a way to just pay the price difference? I am already facing challenges affording all the required textbooks. Returning the rental for a refund only to buy the same manual again seems like a waste of time. Thank you for your attention, any help would be welcomed.

This ongoing issue with Chegg must be resolved immediately. Despite multiple notifications, there has been no meaningful communication or resolution from their end. They continue to charge for a service that was canceled months ago, even double billing for several months. Despite previous assurances of refunds, they persist in charging my account every month. The situation is unacceptable and must be rectified promptly. The lack of correspondence and the repeated charges post-cancellation are frustrating and unacceptable. It is clear that Chegg needs to address this promptly and cease the erroneous charges. The issue has been ongoing since May, and despite providing evidence of the double charges and cancellation, the problem persists. The continuous charges for services not rendered are unjust, and Chegg must take immediate action to correct this.

Hello, my name is Seagren Johnson. I placed an order for the book "Medical Terminology: A Living Language" and an Access Code on August 15, [redacted], for a total of $[redacted].30. The payment confirmation was received the same day via PayPal. On August 18, [redacted], I was informed by email that the book was out of stock and I would be refunded $[redacted].30. The refund was promptly processed through PayPal. Unexpectedly, today on August 22, [redacted], I received the textbook without being charged for it or receiving any notification. My queries are: a) Why did I receive the book after a refund was issued? b) Will I be charged for it eventually? c) If I am charged, can I return it as I found the book elsewhere? Please reach out to me soon. You can contact me via email or call me at [redacted]. Thank you and have a great day.

My daughter, a senior, has relied on Chegg for textbooks since her freshman year. This semester, she ordered her Latin book early but found that it was missing pages. Despite contacting Chegg, the only options offered were to return the book for a refund and repurchase or to buy a new one first. With classes started, we cannot afford to keep buying books. I'm concerned about the lack of quality control on returned books. I'm requesting a replacement book with expedited shipping to prevent her from falling behind in her Latin class or any other subjects.

I purchased the e-textbook "Research Methods in Psychology: Evaluating a World of Information (Third Edition)" on August 13th, for a total of $66.52 with tax. It was charged to my account, and I saved the information on my Chegg account to download later when school started. However, when I tried to access it for an assignment, I found that my account shows I don't own any e-textbooks, and the book is only in my shopping cart. I am unable to view my previous orders as the system indicates there are none right now.

Hello, I am Angela, a student at the University of Texas at Dallas. I am a Cengage Unlimited subscriber looking to rent my textbook from Chegg. I have been attempting to log in to Chegg to rent the textbook but keep encountering error code: Charlie for the past week. Despite being prompted to try again tomorrow, the same error code persists, impeding my textbook rental process. Accessing the physical copy of the textbook is crucial for enhancing my studies, and I appreciate the collaboration between Chegg and Cengage in providing affordable rental options for students. I seek assistance in resolving this issue promptly to aid my academic progress as my coursework intensifies. Thank you for your attention, Warm regards, Angela L. I purchased three books and was informed of two-day delivery. However, I received an email stating the delivery would be on 9/7 and 9/5. I called customer service to confirm and was explained that for orders over $35, two-day delivery is unavailable. The representative was understanding but explained that the only solution was to buy ebooks temporarily and then get a refund once I receive the physical books. I even offered to pay for overnight shipping, but it wasn't an option. With upcoming assignments, I urgently need the books by Friday or Saturday at the latest. I've consulted my professor, who suggested looking for alternatives. I might have to seek the books elsewhere and return your order upon arrival. I apologize for the inconvenience, as I was assured of a two-day delivery at checkout. Please provide an update on this matter. Thank you, Jamie J.

Hello, I recently purchased a biology rental book, but it was mistakenly sent to the wrong address. As a result, it was returned. The cost of the book was $29.99, and I qualified for free shipping because my total order was over $50. Another book from the same order arrived correctly. The biology book is now priced at $49.99, but I should only be charged the original $29.99 plus free shipping since the mistake was not on my part. I am willing to provide my order number as proof of payment. Thank you.

I purchased four books from Chegg, intending to keep one and rent the others. Due to various reasons, I no longer require the three rented books. I noticed the refund policy states a 21-day window for returns starting from the order date, with my deadline being September 3rd. However, despite my efforts last week and over the weekend to return the books at UPS locations, I found them closed with no service available. I suspect this may be due to an early start to the Labor Day holiday. This situation is concerning as these books collectively amount to $60-$70, a significant sum for me currently. I am seeking assistance to resolve this issue, as I am unable to bear this financial burden at the moment.

I'm reaching out due to ongoing issues with reaching support through calls and the frustrating experience with the chat service repeatedly logging off. Last night, I attempted to cancel my subscription, but encountered difficulties as there was no apparent option on the app. I never received a renewal notification from you, leaving me unable to cancel beforehand. Paying $15 for an app that causes more stress than assistance is unacceptable. Numerous questions I've posted in the past have received inaccurate responses, showing a lack of expertise from your tutors. Canceling my subscription eventually required accessing the mobile version via Google Chrome, which was inconvenient. A smoother process and improvements in tutor quality, specifically in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, are necessary. Please update your app and ensure your tutors are knowledgeable in current web development standards.
