Hello, my name is Peer English and I am the owner of At Your Beacon Call LLC, a small senior in-home care business in Bend, Oregon. I initially signed up on care.com as an individual caregiver but later decided to transition to a business account. Unfortunately, I mistakenly entered my business details into my existing individual account, leading to its deactivation due to not following the guidelines. After reaching out to care.com through their website, they notified me on 11/15/21 that I had unknowingly enrolled as an individual caregiver instead of a business, resulting in the closure of my individual account. They confirmed that I can now list my company on their platform. Despite this, I am having trouble navigating the site to list my business properly. Although I have already paid for a background check valid for a year, I keep getting redirected to perform another check without any confirmation of my previous vetting. I am looking for contact information to resolve this issue and proceed with joining care.com to access local opportunities and clients for my services. The last communication from care.com was on 11/15/21, but I have not received further guidance. I would appreciate assistance in contacting care.com to rectify this situation and successfully join the platform.

I had issues while trying to post a job listing on care.com. I initially signed up for a premium membership at $74.85 along with a $60 background check, but instead of gaining access to hiring, I was redirected to the recruitment site, where an additional $[redacted] fee was required to post the job. I am unable to cancel the premium membership and background check on the care.com site, despite being charged for them on my credit card. Hello, I'm Dean Green from Morrison, IL. I haven't used Care.com for several months. On 11/19/[redacted], a recurring credit card fee was charged to my account, which is within the last 30 days. According to information on gethuman.com, a refund can be requested within 30 days of renewal if the service hasn't been used since then. Therefore, I am asking Care.com to refund the subscription fee charged to my credit card since I qualify for a refund under these conditions.

I am looking to close my account on care.com. I encountered issues when signing up as the website failed to verify my information. Subsequently, the page kept refreshing, prompting me to re-enter my details repeatedly. To terminate my account and cease charges, I attempted to utilize the live chat support, which requires logging in. However, this action redirects me to the sign-up page. I also phoned customer service, only to be instructed by an automated system to seek assistance by logging in. This situation is frustrating, and I feel limited in my options. I had canceled my membership with Care.com on August 24, [redacted], and received an email confirmation. However, I was unexpectedly charged $82.71 on 11/18/[redacted]. I can provide evidence of this transaction from my bank statement. Unfortunately, as I no longer have an active subscription, I am unable to contact customer service to resolve this issue. I am confused as to why this charge occurred after I had already cancelled my membership. I kindly request to be contacted by Care.com promptly to address this matter and have the erroneous charge reversed.

I would like to cancel my account on care.com. Unfortunately, I am unable to proceed without completing the background check. Accessing my account settings seems to be problematic, and the system is not allowing me to initiate the background check. I have attempted to complete the process, but it has been unsuccessful. Despite multiple emails and phone calls to care.com, I have not received any responses. I did not anticipate such difficulties in closing my account on care.com. It would be helpful if the website offered an option to cancel accounts that have not undergone background checks, as it seems unnecessary to require this step solely for account closure.

Hello! I recently tried to create an account on care.com and ended up being charged for a subscription without meaning to. I realized I am under 18 and did not know the service was for individuals who are 18 and older. I tried to cancel my subscription but encountered an issue with the background information page. I have been a caregiver using Care.com for years to find clients. I also have an account to find a caregiver for my mom, but I haven't used it since she's difficult. I am reaching out regarding my primary account for finding caregiving jobs. A premium fee was charged to my credit card without my approval, and when I requested a refund, the account was closed. I had all my work history, referrals, and 5-star rating on that account, and I don't want to start over. If reopening my original account requires paying the fee, I will do so. I signed up for care.com back in [redacted] and have been billed continuously even into [redacted]. I am frustrated and feel scammed because $60 is taken from my account every month without my authorization. I had only signed up for a six-month trial in [redacted]. Hello. I attempted to sign up as a caregiver but encountered issues with adding my personal information. Despite entering my card details successfully, when I tried to input my social security number, date of birth, and address, it displayed as declined. This has been an ongoing problem for months, specifically with this app. However, despite the rejection, $19 was deducted from my account. The app then stated that no further charges could be made due to the decline of my information. Hello, I want to address an issue I had with Care.com back in [redacted] when a client falsely accused me of something unknown. Despite my track record of excellent service and glowing recommendations from previous clients, I encountered obstacles setting up a new account. I have been a member on Care.com for over 5 years. I recently renewed my membership and was asked to do a background check. I paid for it but it was taking too long, so I requested a refund. After over 2 weeks of no response, I finally got a reply. The background check showed an error that said "Nolle Prossed," which means it was a mistake. Trying to contact Sterling Talent Solutions was unsuccessful. After this experience, I feel like Care.com is not handling things well. They even closed my account, which I think is for the best after all of this.
