Our car's VIN number is listed in a CT accident report from [redacted], but with incorrect owner details, car color, and insurance information. Despite contacting the Police Department to rectify this, they claim the VIN data is automatically generated and unchangeable. We have confirmed our VIN is accurate, leading us to suspect potential fraud involving our VIN being assigned to another vehicle. How should we proceed to address this issue?

I've been attempting to order Carfax reports, but each time I try, I receive an error message stating that the site cannot connect to the credit card processor. I ensure my credit card is paid in full every month. I've tried both my Chase Bank card and Amazon credit card, receiving the same error. I don't have a PayPal account to try as an alternative. This has happened three times now with Carfax. Despite their great product, their customer service has left me quite frustrated.

Hello, I am Muneer Alasri, the owner of a Toyota Highlander Platinum. During a recent visit to the dealership to sell or trade my car, they provided me with a Carfax report indicating an accident on 01/07/[redacted], which is inaccurate as I did not have any accidents nor filed any insurance claims. This misinformation is impacting the value of my vehicle, hindering my ability to trade it in or purchase a new one. I am seeking assistance in rectifying this issue. You can contact me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted] Thank you.

I have noticed an inaccuracy in the odometer reading for vehicle w2y4ebhy4lt039944 on your website. It appears that the information was pulled from a registration dated 06/16/22 where the weight of 9,[redacted] was mistakenly entered as the mileage. The local DMV has confirmed this error but stated that they have already corrected it on subsequent registrations. I can provide the following evidence to support this:
1. A photo of the current odometer reading.
2. The current title demonstrating that the vehicle was registered with [redacted] miles after the date it was initially recorded with 9,[redacted] miles.
3. A photo of the DMV database displaying both registration records.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I bought a Carfax report for my [redacted] VW Golf and need to print it before selling the car. I'm having trouble printing it on my new computer and the "print" option is missing on my old one. I want to download it as a pdf, transfer it to a flash drive, and print at a shop, but can't find that option. I contacted Carfax but haven't found a solution yet, despite receiving updates. Any advice on how to print this report would be appreciated. Thank you for your help.

Subject: Correction Needed in Carfax Report for Subaru Forester [redacted]
Dear Carfax Team,
I am writing to address an error in the accident history report for our Subaru Forester [redacted] with VIN # JF2SJARC3JH491158 and Carfax Reference #[redacted]7.
The report currently shows two separate damage incidents, with one on 06/05/[redacted] being accurate and the second on 09/07/[redacted] being incorrect. There has only been one accident on 06/05/[redacted], not two as indicated. This misinformation could impact our ability to sell the vehicle accurately.
I kindly request a prompt investigation and correction of this issue to accurately represent our vehicle's history. I am available at XXX-XXX-XXXX for further assistance or information needed.
Thank you for addressing this promptly and helping us maintain the integrity of our vehicle's history report.
Sincerely,

The Carfax report indicates that my vehicle is listed as totaled, which is incorrect. I have sent in a request with a clear title and photos of the vehicle to prove it is not totaled. I am waiting for a response from Carfax as they mentioned being busy. The vehicle is registered under my company's name, which I sold. Following my CPA's advice, I paid off the vehicle in August [redacted]. However, the inaccurate report is hindering me from purchasing a new vehicle in my name. The situation seems to have occurred because Carfax might have assumed the vehicle was totaled and paid off by an insurance company after I settled it. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will have to seek legal advice and pursue damages from Carfax. My case number is [redacted].

I purchased a Chevrolet Equinox with VIN 2GNAXKEV6K[redacted] back in May [redacted] from a Yangon, Myanmar showroom. I am looking to sell my car to support my family during these tough times in Myanmar. Unfortunately, the car was involved in an incident in Canada before I bought it, which is making it challenging to sell due to the incident history/photos in Carfax. I kindly ask for assistance in removing these incident records from the Carfax report.
