We have an ongoing issue with the letter carriers in our area. Some of our paper bills have been returned to the company twice in one week. We have lived at [redacted] Shamrock Rd., Prince George, B.C., for over 35 years. In the last two years, our mail has been consistently misdirected. I have left a note on our mailbox asking carriers to double-check the address. Our mail often goes to [redacted] Shadylane Rd., Prince George, B.C., and we receive their mail as well. I'm not sure what can be done, but this situation is becoming ridiculous. Perhaps consider hiring carriers who can read and have a higher education level. I have contacted Canada Post multiple times and lodged complaints about the same issues. Thank you for your attention. - Tena Sevigny

I dropped off a parcel at Canada Post located in Westney Heights Plaza, Ajax, on July 28, 20. The parcel was meant to return Bell Canada equipment. I provided the clerk with the reference number PR771039, and she assured me she knew what to do. After processing the item for delivery, I received a receipt with the tracking number [redacted][redacted]. However, to my surprise, the destination code on the receipt shows as MOR2TO, not Bell Canada. Upon tracking the parcel, I noticed it had been delivered to this unknown location. When inquiring about the delivery details, the same agent informed me they couldn't disclose the information and advised me to contact the appropriate department. The agent speculated that it may have been redirected to Amazon in Mississauga, when it was meant for Bell Canada's address at Progistix Solutions, 99 Signet Drive, North York, Ont. M9L 0A2. The reference number on the parcel is E[redacted]. I am concerned that the parcel was sent to the wrong destination and kindly request the postal clerk's error to be corrected promptly.

I am Suzette DeMott, the executrix for the estate of Gene & Agnes DeMott, located at [redacted] Highway 3A, Nelson, BC, V1L 6S2. The property has been vacant for about 4 years. We decided to rent it, and I ordered cable & wifi under my name. The equipment was delivered to the wrong community mailbox, and we lack the key. The new tenants, Owen & Susan Dearing, cannot leave due to COVID-19 restrictions. Can the modem, setup box, and new key be retrieved and taken to the Balfour Post Office for pickup? The tenants will authorize a neighbor to collect it. Canada Post suggested re-keying the compartment. It would benefit the tenants to have internet and cable during their isolation. Contact me at 71 Silver Creek Blvd NW, Airdrie, AB, T4B 2P6. Thank you.

There is ongoing highway construction at the intersection of 71st Street and Range Road [redacted] affecting our community mail delivery. A note from Canada Post was posted on the mail box stating the temporary suspension of mail delivery to our address at RR 2, Box 9, Site [redacted], Saskatoon, Sask., S7K 3J5. To organize mail pick-up, we need to know the location where our mail is being held. Our elderly neighbor, Pat Hartnett at RR 2, Box 4, Site [redacted], Saskatoon, Sask., S7K 3J5, also requires assistance with mail retrieval. Any suggestions on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Ernie Fast

I recently moved and paid for my mail to be forwarded from my old address at 19 Fireside Parkway, Cochrane, AB, T4C 1T4 to Box 23 Site 13 RR 2, Cochrane, AB, T4C 1A2. However, I have not received any mail at my new address, [redacted] Township Rd [redacted]. The new tenants at my old address are still receiving my mail. I am unsure if my current address falls under Cochrane or Rocky View County and what the postal code is. I would appreciate it if someone could assist with this matter. Subject: Issue with Register Letter Delivery To Whom It May Concern, I wanted to bring to your attention an incident involving a Register letter (RR[redacted]32PL) I received from Wroclaw, Poland on August 24. Surprisingly, I found this letter in my community mailbox on September 14, three weeks later. Has Canada Post adopted a new standard of delivering registered letters as regular mail? Upon tracking the letter's transit progress online, I discovered that after leaving Poland on August 27, there were no further updates for two weeks. When I contacted Canada Post by phone, I was informed of a maintenance period and asked to call back later. Subsequent attempts to inquire about the letter were met with the explanation of a technical issue preventing information access. This situation led to additional expenses on long-distance calls to Poland to clarify shipment details. I would appreciate an explanation for this unsettling experience. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, B.B. 47 Costigan Court, Georgetown, Ontario L7G 6J2 Tel: [redacted] Email: [redacted]

I received an email last night regarding a "delivery confirmation," however, I cannot locate the package at my front door. I am concerned that my expected cell phone may have been taken if left unattended overnight. It would be more helpful if the email indicated it was confirming the shipping rather than the delivery to avoid confusion. I kindly request an update on the whereabouts of my package as the tracking number provided is not valid in your system. The SAP delivery number is [redacted]8 and the Waybill number is [redacted][redacted]. My name is Marc F., and the delivery address is 83 rue du Buzet, Gatineau, QC J9H 7K6.

My girlfriend resides in a house with tenants upstairs and two suites in the lower level, totaling three separate suites. The landlord, who lives approximately 40 km away, refuses to provide individual keys for the community mailbox. He only checks the mail every 2 to 3 weeks. Despite ordering her mail-in voting package in mid-September, my girlfriend still hasn't received it. The landlord claims there was no mail for them, but I doubt he checks or is concerned. I believe my girlfriend could change the mailbox lock, but the landlord might reverse it and potentially attempt to evict her. Is there a law requiring him to supply each tenant with a key? He argues that since three families live there, he acts as a security measure to prevent mail theft among tenants. However, it raises concerns about trust since he isn't on-site. I don't believe he should possess a key if he doesn't reside at the property.

I am concerned that our Long-Term Care Home (LTCH) residents who rely on receiving mail from their loved ones have been neglected by our mail delivery personnel due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Despite our assurances that there is no risk to their safety, the mail delivery has stopped. Our screeners are fully equipped in personal protective equipment (PPE) to safely handle incoming and outgoing items from outsiders. I am disappointed in Canada Post's lack of support during this challenging time, as receiving mail is a source of joy for our seniors who have no other way of connecting with their families. I urge someone from Canada Post to investigate and address this issue promptly. Our LTCH is willing to make arrangements to receive mail in the safest manner possible, similar to protocols in place for other businesses.

Dear Canada Post, I'd like to address the current concerns about mail-in voting in light of recent events in the USA. To avoid any issues with backdating or fraudulent ballots, I have a suggestion for a simple solution. Instead of relying on CP staff to date stamp the mail, we could implement stamping machines at post offices. This way, voters would be responsible for stamping their own mail, reducing the risk of manipulation. If someone were to try to deliver a large quantity of ballots for any candidate at once, it should raise suspicion. Voting should be a personal and individual process, not a bulk delivery. I propose that self-stamping be mandatory for election ballots, with the option for users to utilize this service if they wish. - H Danko from Gatineau, Quebec

Concerns with litter at community mailboxes have been raised in the Ajax area, particularly in the Vimy Ridge neighborhood at Carter Bennet & Oxlade as well as Stevensgate & Telford. Some individuals are leaving junk mail scattered around the mailboxes, causing an unsightly mess. The Region of Durham does not collect recycling from these locations. A suggestion has been made for Canada Post to include magnets inside mailboxes with information on how to opt-out of junk mail and reminders to dispose of unwanted mail responsibly. An education campaign to promote cleanliness and discourage littering would benefit both the mail carriers and residents who frequent these mailboxes.

I received an email stating that Canada Post missed my package delivery and informed me to expect a notice or to contact them. I usually receive parcels at my postal box and retrieve them from the counter, so I am unsure what to do next. Additionally, I received another email about a parcel ready for pickup, but when I inquired, there wasn't any information. I understand the challenges Canada Post may be facing, but it's frustrating when online shopping relies on timely deliveries. If there are delays, perhaps hiring more staff could help. I would appreciate guidance on my next steps. Thank you.

I was told my package would be delivered on Dec. 8. Upon checking the status, it said it was delivered at 10:24 a.m. but no one was home, so it was taken to the nearest post office with a notification card left in my mailbox. I've been home all Sunday, Monday, and today waiting for other deliveries, and have not received a notification card, although the package could easily fit in the mailboxes near ours. I don't have the notification card and must now go to the post office at Shoppers Drug Mart on Alta Vista to collect my package. Despite understanding the busy holiday season, this recurring issue makes it difficult for me, especially as a senior with health concerns who minimizes outings. How can I claim my parcel? The post office won't release it without the card. My tracking number is [redacted][redacted]. I await your assistance. Thank you. Suzanne C.

My package was supposed to be delivered on Dec. 6 at 10:24 a.m. The tracking information says it was delivered, but I didn't receive it, and no one buzzed or knocked on my door. There was no notification card left. Now the tracking shows the package at the Shoppers Drug Mart post office, but I cannot retrieve it without the notification card. I am a senior with health concerns and limited outings, so having to take 2 buses to get the package from the post office is very inconvenient for me. Can someone help me get my package? The tracking number is [redacted][redacted].

I mailed a package to return a cable modem to Shaw Cable in early August [redacted]. Shaw claims they didn't receive it and are asking for the tracking number. Unfortunately, we no longer have the paperwork with the tracking number. The package was sent from [redacted] Airport Rd. Princeton PO [redacted] in Princeton, BC, V0x1w0, via the Princeton Post Office. The sender's name on the package is Adam Garner. Please contact me at [redacted] for any assistance.

I visited the post office in Allenford twice to drop off parcels and noticed that the individuals working behind the counter were not wearing masks, which was concerning. On one occasion, I tried to remind a patron entering the office about the mask requirement, but she rudely declined to comply. During my third visit, I observed more than two patrons inside the office, contrary to the one-person limit indicated by a sign. It is important for Canada Post employees to wear masks and follow the company's policies that have been highlighted on television.

I sent a package to my son-in-law, Chris Jans, c/o Best Case, a wine making outlet at his workplace on Akerley Blvd in Dartmouth, N.S. I recently learned that the business has relocated, and the store is now vacant. I have redirected the parcel to the post office for him to collect. I am unsure which postal outlet it would be sent to or how he would receive a pick-up notice. His new address is [redacted] Windmill Rd, Dartmouth, N.S. B3A 1C9. The parcel was dispatched from 35 Albemarle St, Hamilton, Ont. L8L 7G5. I would appreciate sending a notification to either him or his wife, Jeneane, once the package is available for pick up.

Hello, I sent two small packages via air to the Netherlands on November 19th. I did not receive a tracking number for either package. It has been nearly a month, and the recipient has not received them. However, another package sent a week later was successfully delivered. I visited the post office from which I sent the packages, but they were unable to assist me. I believe there must be a way to investigate the whereabouts of my packages. The only information I have is the number on my receipt: R:[redacted].[redacted]. These packages were sent from Surrey, BC to the Netherlands. Thank you, Zahra

I am awaiting a delivery from a company in the USA named Family First. My order number is [redacted]. The delivery consists of two pillows I purchased for my granddaughters. I was informed on November 29th that the package had reached Vancouver and cleared customs. However, there has been no update since then, no tracking number provided, and no notification of it leaving Vancouver. I am worried about the status of my order and would like some clarity on its whereabouts. It's been three weeks now without any updates, and I would be grateful for any assistance you can provide. Thank you. Judy B. from New Minas, NS.

I purchased shoes on Amazon scheduled to arrive at my home on December 7, [redacted]. However, I have yet to receive the delivery. I attempted to track the item using the app without success. Contacting customer service did not provide any further information on the location of my package. Can you confirm if I will receive the shoes or should I request a refund from the seller? It has been over 11 days since the expected delivery date. The tracking number is [redacted][redacted], and the delivery address is [redacted] Mt. Revelstoke Place, Vernon, BC V1B 4E3. Your assistance in locating my package would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, C. Rothman.
