Switching from HP printers to Xerox copiers after 50 years was a big change for me. I recently purchased a Xerox copier with Order No. 1C8WDB3 on 10/5/[redacted]. However, I mistakenly ordered an imaging unit, Order No. 1C9F5PX on 12/20/[redacted], thinking it was an ink cartridge. After realizing my error, I made a correct order for an ink cartridge with Order No. 1C9V9WV on 2/18/[redacted]. I attempted to return the unopened imaging unit, but was informed of a $23 restocking fee by customer service. As an 80-year-old retired individual with medical expenses, this fee is burdensome. I kindly request your consideration in waiving the restocking fee due to my lack of experience with Xerox copiers. Your understanding and help in allowing me to return the item without a penalty would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.
