I am having an incredibly challenging time trying to get in touch with BA for any reason whatsoever! It's been an overwhelming experience. My wife and I have been loyal customers, having flown over [redacted] times with BA, and have always sung your praises. Unfortunately, my wife has passed away, and now at 81 years old, I find your website incredibly difficult to navigate. It used to be the best site, but now I find it virtually impossible. Despite leaving my contact information, I have not received any responses via email or phone. The "chat" feature was also not helpful and kept saying it couldn't understand my questions, no matter how I phrased them. It's really disheartening not to be able to reach out to a company we once trusted and relied on so much.

I had to cancel the trip because Mr. Lee Robinson was unable to travel to Mexico due to not receiving the required Covid vaccinations. I canceled the ticket over the phone with BA services. I recently booked flights with BA through Travel Up. Two weeks ago, Travel Up informed me that one of the four flights I booked was canceled. Despite multiple calls and emails, I am confused about the status of my flights. On the BA website, I can only see the first flight as booked, while Travel Up shows all four flights as confirmed. I've asked Travel Up for assistance in rebooking the canceled flight, but they mentioned that the alternative offered by BA is no longer available. I inquired about canceling or resolving the issue, and Travel Up sent an email stating they canceled the flight. However, when I checked the BA site, only one flight was visible. Each time I call, they place me on hold to investigate before the call gets disconnected. I requested updates but have yet to receive any. This experience has left me feeling lost and frustrated.

Prior to my June flight, I encountered difficulties during a journey to London, resulting in financial losses for a room and Uber ride. I was a passenger traveling from Dakar, Senegal (DSS) with a transit in Barcelona, Spain (BCN) to London Gatwick Airport (LGW). My large red suitcase with black wheels, branded Ezzyrol, has been missing since my arrival at LGW on 29/07/[redacted]. It might be stuck in Barcelona. I am writing to express my distress caused by a recent flight cancellation. I had booked tickets with TRAVELUP for flights BA1399 from Manchester to London Heathrow on 16/08/22, with a connecting flight BA055 to Johannesburg. Upon receiving an email on July 13th informing me of the cancellation of BA1399, I followed the instructions to claim a refund. However, I mistakenly canceled the entire itinerary instead of just the Manchester to Heathrow leg. This has resulted in a refund of £[redacted], but the cost of rebooking has now increased by £[redacted] per ticket, causing much stress as I had budgeted carefully for this trip. The cancellation process was misleading, leading to unintended consequences. I am urgently requesting to be reinstated on the flights BA055 on 16/08/22, BA0056 on 05/09/22, and BA1382 on 06/09/22, at the original price. I made reservations for 2 seats on an upcoming January [redacted] flight from London, UK to Montreal, Canada with British Airways. I received a confirmation email for the purchase, but the reserved seats do not show up in "manage my bookings." However, the seats for the return flight from Montreal to London do appear correctly in "manage my bookings." The booking was for Economy Light class, which does not include checked baggage. I tried to add checked baggage in advance on the BA website, but the option in "manage my bookings" doesn't work. When clicking on "add more bags," there is no way to complete the action. I'm unsure if this is because it's too early to add baggage for a January flight or if Economy Light class only allows baggage to be added and paid for at the airport rather than online.

Dear GetHuman Team, I wanted to share that on July 28 while in Greece with Sky Express, my turquoise blue Samsonite suitcase went missing. I reported this at Santorini Airport before heading back to Hannover on a different airline. I was informed that my luggage was located and would be sent to my home address, but it hasn't arrived in Hannover yet. Despite contacting Sky Express customer service, they mentioned my suitcase being in London and should reach Hannover via British Airways, stating that B.A. is responsible. I attempted to provide details on the British Airways website concerning my luggage and address, but unfortunately, the system is currently unavailable. I am unable to determine who to contact or the whereabouts of my luggage. When I reach out to Santorini Airport, no one answers, and the German aviation partner indicates they cannot track the lost suitcase since it was on a Sky Express flight. The file reference number is JTRGQ11719. The name associated with this case is Sara Hesselink. The missing suitcase is a turquoise blue hardshell Samsonite one, with two key tags: one grey and the other a blue flip flop. Hello, I'm seeking contact information for HR or someone who can direct me properly. Recently, I was physically abused by a housemate who works for BA. The incident occurred outside of BA's workplace, but I believe employees should uphold appropriate behavior at all times. I am currently in the process of filing a police report due to sustaining a concussion and head injuries. I intend to take legal action. I am unsure where to report this issue and would appreciate guidance on how to contact the appropriate department. I have used BA services without issues in the past, and have found their employees to be generally good people. I believe management at BA should be aware of this incident. I hope this message is clear, and I apologize if I have not used the correct platform.

Hello, My daughter and I traveled with British Airways using reference number OKQKVX on 11/8/22. Despite a delay in Chennai, our tickets were rescheduled for an Iberia flight to Guayaquil (GYE). Unfortunately, after waiting for nearly 2 hours, we discovered that our luggage was not loaded in Madrid. We have yet to receive our baggage, and Iberia's customer service has not provided adequate information or a tracking reference number. We have not received any compensation for the missing luggage, which contains our food and winter clothing. My daughter, representing India in a training camp and international tournament, has crucial items in the lost baggage. The lack of response from the airlines, especially British Airways, is very disappointing. Our baggage reference numbers are BA748504 and BA748501. Thank you.

I have confirmed Business Class tickets for travel on 9/14/[redacted] with flight code M68XML, flying from PHX to LHR and then LHR to CDG. I successfully chose seats for the first flight leg (PHX-LHR), but I am unable to see the option to select seats for the second flight leg on the BA website. I need guidance on how to complete seat selection for flight BA (AA) [redacted]. My wife recently had shoulder surgery and has arthritic knees, so ensuring her comfort during this short final flight is essential.

After booking my flight and selecting our seats, I later noticed that our initial seats were changed without notice. Believing it was my error, I purchased new seats. Upon finding the payment confirmation for our original seats, I contacted the airline. An agent explained that our original seats were canceled for operational reasons. I questioned why I wasn't reassigned similar available seats. Feeling I was charged twice and uninformed of the seat changes, I expressed my concerns. However, the agent was unable to assist and advised me to email. I have emailed British Airways about this matter but have yet to receive a response.

Subject: Serious Incident at Edinburgh Airport - Baggage Check To the Director of Edinburgh Airport, I am writing to report a concerning incident that took place at your airport's baggage check involving one of your employees. On August 19, [redacted], at 3 pm, my wife and I were going through security at the Edinburgh Airport as part of our journey to Italy via London Heathrow and Milan Mpx. During the baggage check, an employee confiscated a 25ml bottle of Anauran ear drops from my luggage, despite my explanation of needing it for my severe hearing loss and ear pain during flights. Despite showing my professional doctor's card to prove my need for the medication, the employee and their supervisor, who was called upon, were both rude and dismissive. The supervisor, wearing a black T-shirt, refused to address my concerns and even declined to provide their name or identification properly. This lack of empathy and understanding towards my medical condition was deeply disappointing. I am sharing this incident with you, the Italian Consulate in Edinburgh, and British Airways in the hope that such treatment is not repeated towards other passengers. I have been attempting to upgrade my return flight from London to Orlando, Florida, USA. My British Airways reservation was made through Norwegian Cruise Lines and then through American Airlines. Despite my efforts, I have been given conflicting instructions by the airlines involved. British Airways referred me to American Airlines or Norwegian for upgrades, while American Airlines directed me back to Norwegian or British Airways. Norwegian, in turn, said upgrades should be handled by British Airways. This runaround has been frustrating, especially since I was able to pay for seat assignments with BA previously. Now, when trying to upgrade, I am unable to speak to a representative. My booking reference is RKORJT, and I am disappointed by the lack of assistance in requesting and paying for an upgrade. My departure is scheduled for September 7th, giving me some time, but while I will be at sea on a cruise beginning August 26th, it is uncertain which country I will be in to make an international call for help.

Hello, I am Tejinder. I have booked tickets with Travelgenio, a Spanish company, for two persons - myself and my wife, Rekha, from Tenerife South to LHR and then from LHR to Mumbai on September 10th. We received a locator number from British Airways, LGABE8, but I am having trouble accessing it to complete details such as passport information and baggage inquiries. I have paid for two baggages per person which allow 23 kgs each, totaling 46 kgs per person. However, we only received confirmation for two baggages each without specific weight allowances. Additionally, there is no mention of hand luggage and its allowances. I kindly request you to provide the proper details of our flight and address the luggage confusion. Our Edinburgh to London flight was delayed by 50 minutes. Despite our polite request for assistance from the cabin crew, knowing our tight connection to Marseille, we were intentionally ignored, resulting in a missed connection. This experience with British Airways has been disappointing, especially after previous cancellations and inconvenient rescheduled flights. We waited at Heathrow for 3 hours, causing a delay in meeting our son in Marseilles. Moving forward, we are considering other airlines for travel to the UK. It would be appreciated if cabin crews are better informed and more helpful in similar situations in the future, rather than just distributing snacks and water and engaging amongst themselves. I arranged a flight with British Airways in May [redacted]. I paid for the flight from my bank account, but the flight got canceled. I experienced a delayed flight and waited almost 30 minutes for my bags only to find out they were not on the flight. I am here for work without my necessary items. The airline promised delivery within a day or two but I have not received any updates. I am requesting reimbursement for the expenses incurred in obtaining clothing and essentials while I wait for my bags.

I have been trying to get a refund for a cancelled flight since February. I have been passed between my Travel Agent (Travelup), British Airways, and Loganair regarding this issue. Our return flight (Booking Ref JVFK8V) on Loganair LM [redacted] (SOU to EDI) on February 20, [redacted] was canceled, along with the replacement flight the next day. Loganair has confirmed multiple times that the flight was canceled, but whenever Travelup contacts British Airways for approval, they deny compensation, claiming the tickets were used. However, since the flight was canceled, the tickets could not have been used. It seems British Airways' records are mistaken, and they are unwilling to verify with Loganair that the flight was indeed canceled and no tickets were used.
