Hello, I realized I forgot to cancel my auto-renewal subscription with your service. I have five subscriptions with you, and the next renewal is not due until March [redacted]. My bank made a payment of £69.99 for software, but I am unsure what it is for. I have Avast Passwords, Avast VPN, Avast Clean Up, and Avast Premier, and suspect the auto-renewal might be for Avast Driver Updater. Attached is a screenshot of the payment made to you by my bank. Unfortunately, this payment has left me overdrawn, and I kindly request a refund. Thank you. Best, K.P.
I am unable to copy the bank statement, so here are the details:

Subject: Request for Refund of Unintended Subscription Renewal
Dear Customer Service Manager,
I am Tullio Garau, a long-time customer of yours with two annual passes, Avast Premium Security and Avast Cleanup Premium, expiring in February [redacted]. Recently, on May 12, [redacted], at 3:45 pm, I received a notification from my bank, Cassa Rurale di Rovereto-TRENTO, regarding an automatic payment of €69.99 from my account for a subscription renewal. I do not have precise documentation on the specific subscription this payment is for, but I do not require any new subscriptions as I already have existing ones.
I kindly request a refund for the unintended payment of €69.99 as I have no intention of purchasing or renewing a new subscription. Your prompt attention to this matter is appreciated.
Thank you for your understanding and assistance.
Best regards,
Tullio Garau

Hello, I wanted to discuss a situation I've been experiencing regarding security messages from Amazon, which I use frequently. The message I receive is consistent, indicating a sign-in from a new device with specific details. I'm puzzled by these messages as they mention locations in the UK that are not where I reside. Attempting to reach Amazon Customer Service has been challenging, and the one time I did connect, the assistance was not satisfactory. I'm reaching out to Avast as I use your VPN software, although I usually disable it for Amazon. These repeated security alerts are becoming bothersome, and I hope you might shed some light on this matter if you've encountered it previously. Your prompt response is not expected, but I appreciate any insight you can offer. Thank you for your time. R.A.Watkins

I wanted to share a possible solution for GetHuman[redacted]. I encountered a similar issue with Amazon when I switched from Internet Explorer to Google Chrome. Now, every time I log in, I receive the same message. After reaching out to Amazon, they explained the new security feature called Transaction Intent Verification (TIV). This includes a "Not Me broadcast" to alert customers of potentially unauthorized sign-ins. While it adds a layer of security, there seems to be no option to confirm that the sign-in is legitimate, causing some inconvenience. I've submitted a complaint to Amazon through their website under 'Contact Us' and selecting 'Data Privacy Queries'. Hopefully, if more users raise this concern, Amazon might address it.

I was invited to use Avast Services for a driver update for $** on June **, ****. Unfortunately, the update did not work, and I have been charged multiple times on the following dates: June ** for $**, June ** for **, June ** for *, and today, July ** for $*. This has caused me a lot of frustration, and I even had to call a Geek Squad technician to come to my home for $** to fix my computer before a work deadline. I am requesting a refund for all the charges and to cancel my subscriptions with your company. Please contact me at ***-***-**** or RhondaJ*****@***.com to confirm that this issue will be resolved promptly. Rhonda R.
I did not expect to be redirected to Just Ask when contacting Avast, as I experienced when calling [redacted]. The recording states the number is not in use, and the callback service provided me with a four-digit number that led nowhere. I insist on speaking with a live representative from A V A S T customer service immediately to address this matter, or I will share my negative experience with Avast widely among my contacts.

I recently started using Avast SecureLine VPN and the Avast Browser. After logging into my debit card account through it, a fraudulent charge appeared within 30 minutes. Although unsure if it relates to DNS issues – not being a security or IT expert – multiple red flags emerged. The timing of the security breach right after installing Avast software is quite concerning, as I never experienced such problems before. I uninstalled the software and am now addressing the fraudulent charge with my financial institution. I share this experience in the hope that if it is related to Avast's software, it can be rectified to prevent others from facing compromised accounts and identities.

Around May 29, [redacted], while checking my "Messenger", I noticed two PayPal messages about charges for Avast transactions on April 8th and 11th, totaling $[redacted].74. Despite not receiving emails from Avast or PayPal about these charges, I learned I missed the 30-day refund window from Avast due to being unaware of the transactions. PayPal said no refund since the payment wasn't unauthorized, but how could I authorize something I didn't know about? I also had McAfee antivirus software at the time of the supposed Avast purchase, which made ordering Avast illogical. After numerous contacts with Avast and PayPal, I received conflicting information about refund possibilities. Avast suggested the refund should come from PayPal, while PayPal indicated Avast needed to initiate the refund. To resolve this, I communicated with Avast by mail and phone, expressing my situation. I have an email documenting my physical condition related to this matter, which can be provided if needed.

I read a review from Techradar about Avast Cleanup Premium and now I am concerned about the purchase of the premium security product.
The review mentioned that while Cleanup Premium offers a familiar PC maintenance tool experience, some of its features like finding and deleting junk files may not be as effective as they claim. For example, the review found that the tool included System Restore points and 'Win Download Files' in its total of junk, which are not necessarily unnecessary files. Additionally, the program didn't provide much detail on PC health problems or how to address the programs slowing down the PC.
The lack of configurability is also highlighted as a concern, as users cannot customize what should be considered junk and what should be left alone. Overall, the review suggests looking into other PC maintenance tools like CCleaner, even though it's also an Avast product.
After reading this review, I am reconsidering whether Cleanup Premium is the right choice for my needs.

I purchased several products from your company, AVAST ANTIVIRUS, which have caused issues with my computer's internet connection and keyboard. On July 22, there were five charges made to my PayPal Credit account for amounts totaling $[redacted].76. I spoke with one of your technicians who assured me that a refund would be processed. However, as of September 2nd, these charges have not been credited back to my account. I kindly request that you please refund the total amount of $[redacted].76 to my PayPal account.

While using my laptop, my little dog caused it to slip off my knee, resulting in me frantically trying to grab it and hitting multiple keys in the process. This led to a blue screen error, preventing me from accessing any programs or files on the laptop. After struggling for hours, I resorted to a hard restart, which took an additional two hours, ultimately causing me to lose numerous programs and files. Due to this frustrating experience, I have decided to discontinue using the Avast programs I had installed and would appreciate a refund for any applicable charges.

I was recently charged $52.99 for your Premium service for one device, but I have only ever used the free basic Avast service. I made the payment through Paypal and intend to file a complaint with them regarding this matter. I do not wish to pay $1 to speak to your experts and I do not have an account number as I was never provided with one. I request a refund for the charge since I am being billed for a service I have not used. I attempted to contact you by phone several times today at [redacted], but all my calls have been met with a busy signal in the 25 attempts I have made.

Approximately five days ago, I inquired about the Premium Cleanup service scheduled to begin on Jan. 4th. I have not received any notification via email as expected. Additionally, I neglected to cancel a Free Trial on Nov. 27th, which I apologize for. It would be greatly appreciated if these matters could be resolved promptly, as I am currently unable to afford any unforeseen expenses. I rely on Free Trials to manage my finances efficiently during this time. I would like to mention that I am a 75-year-old Senior citizen on a fixed income. I understand that my financial situation is unrelated to your services, but I wanted to provide context. Thank you for your understanding.

Hello,
I'm inquiring about my recent order, Invoice ID [redacted]39. I was expecting to receive the VPN service, but instead, I received Avast Antivirus, which was not my intention. I was charged $36 via Paypal for this incorrect item. If it's not possible to provide the VPN service alone, I would like to cancel the order as soon as possible.
Kindly reach out to me at [redacted] to clarify the situation. Just to clarify, I already use Trend Micro antivirus and I am happy with their services.
Looking forward to resolving this promptly.
Thank you,
R. N.

I noticed a recurring charge of AUD $8.00 in my bank account, which I had believed was a one-time donation. I did not authorize turning this into a monthly automatic withdrawal. Managing multiple charity donations, I carefully control my finances. While I appreciate some of AVAAZ's programs, I do not support every cause. I kindly ask that my automatic payments cease after December [redacted]. If any charges occur after this date, I will instruct my bank to block the payment. Thank you for understanding.

I noticed a charge of £74.99 on my PayPal account, seemingly for a renewal with your company. My AVAST premium isn't due for renewal until February [redacted], making this payment unauthorized in my opinion. I request clarification or an immediate refund. I found this charge concerning as there was no prior notification from you about any upcoming renewal or the amount. Additionally, the payment address seemed questionable.
