I own a [redacted] TT roadster, and I have already referenced number [redacted]20 regarding this issue. The flap motors and pumps for the roof have been replaced multiple times over the past few years. Recently, I was informed about a bulletin from [redacted] stating that a realignment and reprogramming service should have been done for free while the car was under factory warranty. Unfortunately, I was never informed about this service when my car was originally in for the problem. Now, I am facing a $[redacted] diagnostic charge and an additional $[redacted] to have the service done in order to use the convertible top. I am considering requesting a waiver of these fees due to the lack of prior notification from AUDI.

Warning: I had a bad experience with Audi of Stratham, NH. My vehicle is under a 5-year warranty, and the slave cylinder failed twice within a year. It was covered the first time but not the second time. Despite instructing them not to touch the clutch without my permission, they dismantled my transmission without notifying me. They provided a $[redacted] quote to repair my flywheel/transmission, claiming I authorized the work, which I did not. When I declined their service and decided to have the clutch replaced elsewhere, they insisted I pay for the 8-hour teardown. I am exploring legal options as there is no evidence of my authorization, and my lawyer is involved. I recommend avoiding this dealership.

I recently purchased a CPO [redacted] Audi A7 from Audi of Wilmington. Unfortunately, I left the dealership without them obtaining the required insurance card for the car. They issued me a 60-day Delaware tag while sitting on the paperwork for registration, plates, and title transfer to Pennsylvania. No one reached out to me for 6 weeks, causing delays in the transfer process. Additionally, the car was delivered with a dirty interior, exterior, and only half of the oil life rather than fresh oil. Despite reaching out to the sales manager after 4 weeks regarding the missing documents, I did not receive a response. I have since provided the dealership with my insurance card, and they will reissue another Delaware temporary registration while processing the transfer to Pennsylvania. I am disappointed in the poor process of this dealership and question how they are authorized as a Magna certification. Having purchased multiple Audis in the past, this experience does not reflect well on Audi. Audi USA should reassess this dealership to maintain the company's reputation.

Hello, my name is Lisa Taylor. I reside in Lithonia, GA. I recently bought an Audi Q5 2.0 quattro from Gravity Auto in Roswell, GA. After the purchase, we discovered that the navigation disc was missing from the car, preventing us from programming any features. I have been in touch with the seller, Benjamin Franklin, and the service manager, who claimed the car is a basic Audi without these functions. However, the manual clearly states otherwise for a [redacted] model. I am seeking assistance from a higher authority to resolve this matter promptly by providing the necessary disc. I expect all the features promised for the money spent. Please address this issue at your earliest convenience. Thank you. Best regards, LT.

I had the pistons and rings in my [redacted] Audi A4 Premium Plus replaced about three years ago due to an oil issue. Additionally, I had to change the oil-cooled turbocharger a year and a half ago, followed by replacing a camshaft seal a year ago. Most recently, I had to replace a high-performance fuel pump at [redacted],[redacted] miles this Monday. Is it usual for a premium car to require so many repairs? While I understand and Audi addressed the oil problem, these additional repairs seem excessive for a car of this caliber. I expected the fuel pump and turbocharger to last longer. Who should I contact regarding these concerns? This could potentially create negative publicity. Thank you for any assistance.

Good afternoon, I own a Q5 [redacted] with an extended warranty (3 years/68,[redacted] km). Following a recent storm in Guadalajara, Mexico on October 2nd, my wife experienced an alarming issue while driving, as the "Dirección Averiada, detener el vehículo" (steering damaged, Stop the Car!) message appeared. Despite the low level of water on the street, the steering wheel suddenly became hard to move, causing concern for my wife and children in traffic. Audi Customer Service explained that the problem lies in the steering rack electrical module at the car's bottom, attributing the damage to flooding and therefore not covered by the warranty. There are no signs of flooding inside or outside the car, indicating a design flaw in the steering rack module. Safety was a key factor in purchasing this car, and such incidents are disappointing and worrisome for families like mine.

I bought a [redacted] Audi A3 in April [redacted] from the original owner. Shortly after purchasing it, the airbag light illuminated and the passenger airbag was deactivated. The dashboard displayed warnings reading "Audi pre-sense system fault" and "Audi safety system malfunction." The Audi dealership mentioned it was related to a recall (PODS recall) and turned me away. After waiting months for the recall fix, the issue persists even after the repair. The passenger airbag light still flickers with a passenger in the seat, triggering an airbag warning when the seat is empty. The dealership now wants to charge me $1,[redacted] to resolve the problem, which I find unreasonable as it poses a significant safety risk. I believe Audi should cover the costs for the repair. The VIN for my car is WAUCCGFF1F[redacted].

Hello, I am Yurii Gal, the owner of a [redacted] 2.0T Audi Q5 with close to [redacted],[redacted] miles. My VIN is WA1LFAFP5CA023174, and I have an active Premium extended warranty until [redacted],[redacted] miles. I usually service my vehicle at AudiFortMyers with the excellent service specialist, Chris. Currently on a business trip in Portland, OR, I discovered an oil leak, a need to replace an engine mount causing vibrations in the cabin, a driver side airbag recall, and issues with hard shifting on lower gears. I scheduled an appointment at Audi Wilsonville for 10/03/19 with a loaner car, but upon arrival, I was informed there was no loaner available. After rescheduling for 10/07/19 and facing the same issue, I insisted on a solution. Finally, a loaner Audi SQ5 was provided, but my car was not diagnosed as promised due to the dealership's busy schedule. I was informed they would not have time until 10/15, which is unacceptable. I need assistance with resolving this matter.

I bought a new Audi Q8 on May 29, [redacted], but I've had numerous issues with its quality. The first problem occurred on July 1, [redacted], when driving in heavy rain and the Electrical System Malfunction light started flashing. This led to the air conditioning, radio, and power shutting down, causing the car to stop suddenly. After restarting the car, the same issue reoccurred. Another incident happened on July 19 in Alabama, prompting me to contact Audi Roadside for assistance. The car was taken to Audi Birmingham, where they replaced the alternator and high voltage battery. However, subsequent problems arose with warning lights and engine noises. I plan to contact Audi Roadside for the current issues and cannot feel safe driving the car the long distance to the dealership in Memphis due to the persistent problems. Given the high cost of the vehicle, I expect Audi to either replace it or refund my purchase. If we cannot reach a resolution, I will explore other avenues for assistance. Contact me at [redacted] or [redacted] Thank you, Frank M. Y.

I recently purchased a [redacted] Audi A4 Premium Plus with Sports Package, which unfortunately has a very harsh ride on rough roads that is not suitable for my wife's back problems. I initially did not want the Sports Package, but ended up with it because of the limited availability of the color combination and features I desired. During my test drive of a different Audi model without the Sports Package, I was impressed by the comfortable ride and made my decision based on that experience. I was under the impression that the stiffer suspension was an optional feature I could select, but now realize that is not the case. After reaching out to Audi San Jose, the only solution they offered was to buy back my car at a significant financial loss for me. I am hopeful that Audi USA can help resolve this situation with minimal financial impact on my end.

As a USAA member, I recently received a USAA Select Program Incentive code offering a $[redacted] incentive at Audi dealerships. Unfortunately, when I visited my local Audi dealership, they mentioned that the incentive for the [redacted] Q5 model was not yet in their system. After contacting Audi of America Customer Service and Audi Financial, the disconnect in sharing information about the USAA Select Program incentives for new Audi models was apparent. The lack of coherence is frustrating as purchasing a new Audi should not involve this level of complexity. I am hoping for someone from Audi of America to reach out via email to clarify the USAA Select Program Incentives for the [redacted] Audi Q5 and provide a contact number for any further queries.

I bought a [redacted] Audi A6 Quattro 3.2L from a friend in Naperville back in [redacted]. The car currently has 98,[redacted] miles on it. I've always used premium fuel and kept up with regular maintenance. Recently, I had to spend $4K on fuel system repairs. This is my second used Audi, and it will be my last. I had hoped to drive it up to 200K miles without major issues, but the repair costs have been disappointing. I've learned that selling German cars before they are five years old might prevent these costly repairs. I am considering switching to a Toyota for my next car purchase due to their reliability past 100K miles. My Audi has needed typical maintenance like brakes, tires, and lights, but the unexpected repairs have been frustrating. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to see the repair bill. - Mark T. from Buffalo Grove, IL.

Yesterday, while driving my [redacted] Audi Q5, the car was fine until it suddenly lost power and started running rough. I have scheduled an appointment with the dealer to check if a belt broke. I received a call today from the dealer informing me that a piston ring is broken or cracked, with a repair cost of over $[redacted]. I purchased this preowned car in [redacted]. It has been reliable until now, showing no prior signs of trouble. Is this a common issue with no prior warning? I rely on my car for transportation and cannot afford such costly repairs. Are there any recalls for this problem? Any assistance available for the repair costs will be appreciated. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, Delise G.

I am feeling incredibly frustrated with the leasing process for my [redacted] Audi A4. The lack of communication and unresolved issues have left me unsure of where to seek help. Sales Staff Concerns: The salesperson did not review the maintenance details of the vehicle with me, and my request for clarification was ignored. To address this, I had to contact a different Audi dealership for assistance. Registration Delay: Since purchasing the car on 10/30/19, I have yet to receive the registration or title needed for the car. The delay in resolving this with the DMV is unacceptable. Additionally, I received a parking ticket due to the expiration of the temporary license plate on 11/28/19. Despite trying to escalate the matter to the General Manager of Audi Newton, I received no response. The level of frustration has led me to consider terminating my lease with this dealership for one that appreciates my business.

I took my [redacted] Audi A4 with VIN WAUAFAFL8AN022632 to Audi Atlanta on Peachtree Industrial road for diagnosis and repair. The service recommended a new comfort module and steering column. I asked them to wait until my insurance could inspect the car, but they replaced the comfort module before that. Audi Atlanta said they would cover the cost of the comfort module. Later, I had my car towed to AAA auto service, where they couldn't diagnose it as the comfort module had been removed and not replaced. I am curious about the service recovery since Audi is the only manufacturer of the comfort module for Audis. I am puzzled why the new part was removed and what happened to the old one. With [redacted] miles on my car, no one has been able to fix it yet.

I own a [redacted] Audi Q5 equipped with a 2.0T engine. Around the 80,[redacted]-mile mark, I noticed it started consuming oil. Fast forward to 95,[redacted] miles, and it now uses a quart every [redacted] miles. Apparently, Audi settled a class action lawsuit in [redacted] due to an engineering defect in the piston rings of this motor causing excessive oil consumption. Unfortunately, when I purchased the car, I was not informed of this issue. I am looking into options to address this problem with Audi, but my local dealer is not offering any free or affordable solutions. They want to charge approximately $[redacted] for an oil consumption test, which I believe should be conducted at no cost.

I have a [redacted] Audi Q5 with a 2.0-liter engine experiencing excessive oil consumption. Audi issued a service bulletin regarding this problem, but the local dealer mentioned it only covers vehicles up to 80,[redacted] miles. My car has 84,[redacted] miles, and I've been quoted $[redacted] for an engine rebuild. Despite my well-maintained and good-condition vehicle, I feel abandoned by Audi over this known issue.

Our [redacted] Audi A3 sedan requires adding a quart of oil every [redacted] miles. Despite having it checked at the dealership, they claim there is no issue and advise us to continue topping up the oil. This frequent oil consumption seems excessive. Although there is a class action lawsuit for similar issues on earlier Audi models, the dealership states there is nothing they can do since our car is a [redacted] model. We believe Audi should address this recurring problem, especially since we are still paying off the vehicle and feeling trapped in this situation.

My [redacted] Audi A4 has been in the shop several times this year with various issues. Initially, I had to replace wiring and the turbo at Keyes Audi in November [redacted] due to the car feeling like the transmission was slipping and lunging forward. Despite replacing the turbo last month, the issue persists. The information provided by technicians regarding the cause of the problem seems inconsistent, sometimes attributing it to the turbo and other times deeming it a normal Audi occurrence. The invoice in November was almost $8,[redacted] before the extended warranty coverage. Currently, my car is at downtown Audi for unknown issues, and Keyes Audi has not updated my carfax. Communication between service departments seems lacking, as downtown Audi could not access records from Keyes Audi. I am facing challenges with getting a loaner car and had to resort to a rental, hoping for reimbursement. I would appreciate assistance from customer service to address these ongoing concerns. Thank you.

I purchased new tires and brakes for $[redacted] on December 11th before heading to San Francisco on the 12th. Upon my return on the 27th, I noticed a flat tire and brought my car to Audi Las Vegas on Sahara Avenue. A technician named Mike handled my case, mentioning a spare tire and needing to contact the supplier for a replacement. Surprisingly, there was no mention of a warranty despite my significant purchase of $[redacted] for four tires. Feeling upset, I contacted Mike on the 31st with no response. Visiting another dealership, I learned about a bubbled tire that could burst, advice that contradicted what I was told at Audi. Their offer of tires with warranty for $[redacted] each further frustrated me as I believed my expensive tires included a warranty. Attempts to reach the supervisor and manager at Audi were unsuccessful, leaving me feeling ignored and disrespected. After being kept waiting without a safe car to drive, I am considering taking my business elsewhere and may no longer purchase an Audi in the future. My loyalty to Audi over the past 10 years with two purchased cars is wavering due to this experience. I am reaching out to address these issues and hope for a resolution to maintain our client-business relationship. I plan to escalate this matter to head office through a formal letter. Thank you, Marianna L. Audi A5 [redacted].
