Hello, today around 12:00-1:00 (Eastern Time), my daughter got hacked. She received a jam-a-gram from someone named Alonetraveler asking for help with a survey. The person directed her to a YouTube video for the survey, leading her to get signed out and locked out of her account. Concerned she was hacked, she asked me to reset her password in the Parent Dashboard. Upon logging back in, she noticed her Rare Black Long Spiked Collar, Neon Bow and Arrows, and Rare Short Red Spike were missing. I can provide the video link she was sent if needed. I'm hoping there's a way to replace these items. Her username is Jerilynn. Thank you.

I was scammed by Cookies972 in a trade involving my 1 Green short and my Nerds. There was another person with her, possibly Laserdragon23. Cookies972 claimed the giveaway was for her headdress, and many people gathered there, expressing concerns that it was a scam. After trading back and forth due to suspicions, only five people remained, and Cookies972 stated that her trading and gifting privileges were disabled, so Laserdragon23 would handle the giveaway. I then traded my items to Laserdragon23, requesting them back shortly after, but he said he was experiencing lag. When I insisted on getting my items back, I got locked out of the trade. A friend with a username starting with "A" witnessed everything. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Last night, I was scammed by btsgirl24. They took my pink jammaliday scarf in exchange for a promise of a spike item. Despite feeling hesitant, I agreed to make the trade after mentioning that I had them on recording. However, as soon as the trade was done, btsgirl24 asked where I would upload the video, and when I mentioned YouTube, they vanished without returning the item. It was a disappointing experience that I wanted to share to warn others. My username is Nicolethewolfywolf.

Hello! I need help with my account issue. I made my account (username: whiteaud000) six years ago in elementary school when I was younger. At that time, I used my friend's parent's email without truly understanding how emails worked.
Now, at 16, I wish to play the game again, but I can't access the old email as I've lost contact with that friend. Could the email be updated to "[redacted]"? I can provide additional proof of ownership if required.

I have been trying to contact Animal Jam headquarters regarding my account ban in December [redacted]. Despite my attempts, I have not been successful in reaching them. It has been two years since I have been unable to access the site, while my friends have not encountered the same issue. My accounts, along with my parent's account, were banned due to actions taken by my friends without my knowledge. I am seeking assistance to have the ban lifted as I have lost access to everything on those accounts. I am willing to comply with all rules and regulations moving forward. I sincerely hope to find a resolution to have my main account and connected accounts unbanned. I am willing to cooperate and make necessary changes to rectify the situation. I have not played Animal Jam in a while. A few years ago, I used to play regularly on my account magicanimalswimmer. Recently, when I tried to log in, the game would not load and was stuck on the loading screen. I realized my parent's email linked to the account, [redacted], was no longer accessible. I attempted to change the email linked to the account, but verification requires access to the original email. I am hoping Animal Jam HQ can assist me in updating my email without requiring confirmation from the old email address, as I am eager to regain access to my account and continue playing the game.

I lost [redacted] Member Den Betas and [redacted] Non-Member Den Betas due to a scam by Likaxx. ArcticPouncer captured the incident on video recording. I am unable to locate the recording but you may contact ArcticPouncer for evidence. The scam occurred when I offered to trade my den items for an Orange HD, and despite initially agreeing, Likaxx reneged on the deal and left with most of my betas. I am devastated by this loss, which took me over a year to accumulate. ArcticPouncer may have the evidence to support my claim. While I hope to retrieve my items, I understand if that is not possible. Any assistance from AJHQ would greatly improve my situation. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I have encountered issues with Animal Jam, particularly related to scamming, hacking, and bullying problems. Recently, I was scammed out of most of my in-game items, leading me to quit. I believe many others may be doing the same due to similar issues. Bullying is also prevalent on both Animal Jam and Animal Jam Play Wild, which is concerning. Implementing a system to track and investigate frequent reports of bullying could help address this issue.
I suggest considering an age limit, possibly requiring users to be at least ten years old. Many scammers appear to be young, impacting the overall experience. Additionally, the rarity of items such as headdresses and spikes is a target for scammers. Increasing the availability of rare items might reduce the incentive for scamming. These are just some ideas to improve the overall safety and enjoyment on the platform. Thank you for taking these suggestions into account.

On May 1st, [redacted], my account was hacked. Upon logging in, I discovered several missing items, including my purple, red, green, yellow, and blue long spike collars. Additionally, my green long wristband, blue short collar, blue long wristband, blue short wristband, and orange short wristband were gone. I kindly request the return of these items; however, I acknowledge the challenges you face with potential scams targeting players who avoid earning items legitimately. If restoration is not possible, I understand. Losing these items is disheartening as I had invested many hours in trading. I recently experienced an unfortunate situation on Animal Jam Play Wild where I was scammed. I understand that you typically only return items once per player as a gesture of goodwill. I have never had any items returned before and would like to take this opportunity to request the return of my lost items. The incident occurred on Tuesday, May 7th, [redacted], between 4-5 PM, and the user responsible for the scam was L0stdreamer. The items that were taken from me belonged to the account Bethaniethewolf. The items that I lost are as follows:

My entire inventory was wiped clean, with only den items remaining. Hello Animal Jam, I am concerned about my daughter's account and her spares that have been banned recently. I am unsure of what happened and have been trying to reach out to you without success. Some of the banned accounts include Jammer88jr17, 12345rrr24, greythebeen, greythebeeeen, and greythebeeen. One of the accounts had a membership that I paid for, causing me some distress as it feels like a waste of money. I would greatly appreciate it if you could look into unbanning these accounts. Since the beginning of April, my daughter has been unable to access her Animal Jam account. While playing on her Chromebook, she encountered another player who became insistent on acquiring valuable items from her. Despite my daughter's refusals, the other user persistently followed and harassed her, even demanding her password. Feeling uncomfortable, my daughter provided a fake password, but the user became agitated and my daughter ultimately logged off. The next day, when she attempted to log in again, the password was no longer accepted. I have attempted to recover the account using the parent email option without success.

I play Animal Jam and my username is Foxstar56. I recently won a blue and gold Viking hat from a giveaway during a live event. Unfortunately, the user Bluefireriver44 scammed me today around 6:45 Mountain time on 6/6/[redacted]. She pretended to trade with me, and I accidentally lost my Viking hat. She left right after. I am not asking for pity, but it would mean a lot to me to have it back. I can provide any necessary information. From the trade, I received a Vintage Tuxedo Front, an Arabian Knight Mask, a Pixelated Monkey Head, and a Rocker Tail. Thank you for your help. 😞

I created an old account under the username Chocolatemintreal but forgot the password because I haven't used it in over a year. I'm also unable to retrieve the password for the associated email, [redacted] Despite trying for 8 hours since 9 am, I still can't log in. On an old computer, I managed to access the account but got logged out before transferring all my items. When attempting to reset the password, I couldn't sign back in and realized I don't remember the email or password for the Animal Jam parent account either. It's frustrating to spend half a day (8 hours) on this when I'm usually awake for most of it. My current account is named Strangelyuwu. My account, tm131, was hacked and I lost a few items I had been working hard to obtain for about 2 to 3 years. Unfortunately, I was scammed in a giveaway by someone I trusted from the beginning of my account. I participated in a trust giveaway where I traded one black long wrist, one black long collar, one red long collar, and a green and black headdress. Regrettably, the items I was promised to be given back were not returned, including my black long collar and the headdress. One main issue is that the giveaway was for a light pink headdress which was never awarded. I would appreciate any assistance in recovering at least my black long collar and possibly the headdress.
