Hello, my name is Ciara Burgess. I received my income tax return of about $[redacted] on an American Express Serve debit card seven years ago. However, I never registered the card, and I no longer have it. American Express Serve periodically sends me emails with only the last four digits of the card number. When I try to contact their automated customer service at 1-[redacted], they only know the last four digits of my card and require the full 15-digit number to proceed. I have tried multiple times over the years, including a dozen attempts today, but I am unable to access my funds, which I urgently need. The American Express customer service number at 1-[redacted] has human representatives, but they cannot help with AmEx Serve debit card inquiries and refer me back to the automated line. I am frustrated by this situation and seek assistance in accessing my money.

I recently received an email regarding a charge on my account that needed verification to prevent fraud. Unfortunately, I did not manage to respond to the email in time. Since then, I have been attempting to contact customer service without success. It has become frustrating as my card is now locked, and I am unable to access my funds. Despite the promised 24/7 availability, I have been unable to reach anyone by phone since Friday. I have made multiple unsuccessful attempts, waiting for up to 3 hours each time. I urgently need assistance to resolve this issue and regain access to my money.

I received three transactions via Serve, but as I didn't have an account, I had to open one to access my $[redacted]. Although I was told a physical card was sent, I only have a virtual card in the app. Customer service hangs up on me, and I'm worried with the 30-day deadline approaching. I urgently need my money transferred to my account. Thank you for your assistance.

I recently submitted my tax return to be deposited on my American Express Serve card. Following address verification, I realized I provided the incorrect street number. After correcting this with customer service on Feb 23rd, I was informed the card would arrive in 7 to 10 business days. However, upon receiving two different cards on a later date, neither contained my tax refund. After contacting customer service again, I was assured the correct card was sent on Feb 26th. Despite being told to expect it by March 11th, it has not arrived after multiple follow-ups. The latest representative extended the deadline to March 16th due to potential delays, but the card still hasn't shown up. I am now solely interested in receiving my refund promptly and not the card.

I submitted my taxes through JacksonHewitt on February 4th and received an American Express Serve card with a $1,[redacted] limit. Even though I only spent $[redacted], the card was declined. When contacting customer service, they refuse to discuss other active cards associated with my social security number. My tax refund was short by $1,[redacted], as I was expecting $4,[redacted] for [redacted] but only received $3,[redacted]. I faced difficulty accessing my Serve account with multiple active cards, including one ending in [redacted] that I didn't recognize. Despite reporting unauthorized charges and security concerns, I struggled to communicate with Serve about the issue. It appears someone has been misusing my social security number and funds without permission, prompting me to consider filing a police report. I aim to resolve this matter promptly to safeguard my finances and regain control of my accounts, which have been subject to unauthorized activity and security breaches.

I am facing an issue with my tax return as I opted to receive it on the Serve card. The problem arose when the card was sent to my physical address instead of my PO Box due to our lack of direct mail service. I am unable to reach a live person for assistance as the automated system prompts me to enter a card number I have not received yet, preventing me from resolving the issue on my own. My refund is scheduled to be released on March 28th, and I fear it will be deposited onto a card that I cannot access. I am seeking guidance on how to proceed and would appreciate any help or information you can provide. Thank you for your assistance.

I'm attempting to have my federal tax refund directly deposited onto my Serve card, but there seems to be an issue with the approval process for the $3,[redacted] deposit. The card has limits of $2,[redacted] daily and $5,[redacted] monthly, so I'm confused as to why the $3,[redacted] deposit is not being approved when the monthly limit allows for up to $5,[redacted]. I really need my refund to be approved for deposit so I can access my money without having to wait for a paper check for another two weeks to a month. I would greatly appreciate any assistance with this matter. Thank you.

When I filed my taxes with H&R Block, they mistakenly entered the wrong account number. As a result, my federal tax refund direct deposit couldn't go through. Serve account sent me an email notifying me of the issue. After contacting H&R Block, they explained the error and advised me to reach out to my bank to rectify it. The correct refund amount is for 2,[redacted].00, and my accurate account number is [redacted][redacted].

I have been receiving my disability check via direct deposit for years, and typically, if the payment date falls on a weekend, I receive it on the Friday before. However, this time, the payment was loaded onto a card where I usually receive my funds five days early. Since my usual payment date of the 1st falls on a Sunday this month, logically, I should have received my funds today on the 29th, five days before the 1st. Unfortunately, I have not received the funds yet. I've waited all weekend previously and received the deposit on the last business day of the week, so I am hoping the funds will be deposited as advertised five days early. If not, I may consider switching my account to another company.

I am experiencing issues with my American Express card ending in [redacted]. American Express Serve cancelled my card because they mistakenly believed that someone had kidnapped my twin brother, G.J., and were trying to harm me to access my funds. I am unable to access my insurance or canteen funds on the card as a result. Please escalate this matter to a supervisor at American Express as I am not receiving any emails or text messages regarding this situation. The involvement of the US Marshal in instructing American Express to cancel their services is unwarranted and is preventing me from accessing my rightful funds. Kindly address this urgent issue with the appropriate department or supervisor at American Express Serve. Thank you.

I am looking for an update on when the supervisor will inform the US Marshal to reactivate the American Express service for my card ending in [redacted]. I need to access my insurance and canteen funds. Last night, I overheard my twin brother in distress due to a terrible situation involving him being harmed. It seems the insurance money was mistakenly sent to American Express under the name Glenn Keener, causing my card to be canceled. The US Marshal discovered that my twin brother and someone named Jeremy Nelson have been abducted and are being mistreated. I suspect they aim to harm me to access my funds. Please relay this urgent message to the supervisor at American Express Serve to contact the US Marshal and reactivate my card so I can secure my insurance and canteen funds. Thank you.

I recently tried to use my Serve card to pay my bills and was shocked to discover that it had been permanently suspended without any clear explanation of the violation. I received an email directing me to a PO box for inquiries but no phone number or alternative contact method. I have relied on this card since [redacted], with my military disability funds deposited monthly. Customer service has been unhelpful, advising me to write to the provided address, which is not a satisfactory solution. The funds on my card are essential for my livelihood. I urgently require a customer service representative to investigate the matter thoroughly and promptly refund the remaining balance to me. This situation puts me at risk of incurring late fees, eviction, utility disconnection, and impedes my ability to buy essential items like food and fuel.

I do not have an account with this company. Money was deposited on a prepaid service on August 1st, [redacted] and August 2nd, [redacted], with $[redacted] deposited on each of those days, totaling $[redacted]. The last four digits on the card used were either [redacted] or [redacted]. The card used was a Bank of America prepaid debit card. Someone had unauthorized access to my account and put money on this account. I would appreciate your assistance in identifying the individual responsible for this. Thank you and please respond promptly. Have a great day and God bless.

I filed my taxes months ago and chose a prepaid serve card. Despite this, the card hasn't arrived. When I called customer service, the representative I spoke with was unhelpful. They requested various documents like my driver's license, electric bills, and marriage certificates for a replacement card, which I don't need – all I want to know is the whereabouts of my original card. I'm concerned about my $[redacted] tax return and the delay is causing me significant stress as I urgently need the funds. Contacting customer service has not resolved the issue, and the lack of progress is frustrating. It has been months since I received an email saying the card was on its way. I am left wondering, where is my card and when will I receive my tax return?

I have been receiving emails from Serve notifying me that my monthly Serve® Prepaid Debit Account statement is available, even showing the last 4 digits of my account number. I do not recall signing up for this service, and I am frustrated with the email notifications I did not consent to. Today, I decided to investigate further by clicking on the statement link, but I do not have the login information available. Therefore, I attempted to reset my password using my email address. However, the system prompted me to verify with a card number that I never received. Upon reviewing the user card agreement, I discovered that they charge the card if there is no account activity after a certain period. I tried to contact customer service using the provided phone number but encountered difficulties. The automated system requested my SSN and last 4 digits of my card, cut the call short when I could not input the numbers quickly enough, and ultimately was unhelpful when I did get through. The lack of alternative contact methods and the suspicious behavior during the call leaves me uncertain about the credibility of their practices. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, GetHuman, for providing a platform to voice my concerns.

I fell victim to a scam involving fraudulent use of Serve American Express cards, resulting in a loss of $[redacted]. The scam was clever, utilizing my friend's Facebook account for communication, leading me to believe the scammer's messages were from my friend. The scam involved a fake $30,[redacted] DHHS grant and required me to provide photos of the front and back of the cards as a delivery fee. Upon realizing the deceit, I contacted my real friend, who was unaware of any grant or related texts. The scammer successfully redeemed the Serve American Express prepaid gift cards on 10/15/[redacted]. I seek further assistance and wish to be reimbursed the $[redacted] by the FDIS insured bank.

I had requested a cash pickup for $[redacted] scheduled for October 31, [redacted], with reference #[redacted]63. However, I decided to cancel it on November 8, [redacted]. I was anticipating the refund back to my account but have yet to see the funds returned. When I contacted American Express, they attempted to assist but were unable to reach Ria for clarification. The back and forth communication between Ria, Walmart, and Serve has left me feeling frustrated. Walmart and Ria stated the cancellation was processed on their end and advised me to contact Serve, but Serve mentioned they were unable to help and redirected me back to Ria. I'm exhausted from dealing with customer service and am hoping to speak with someone more senior who can provide a resolution, as this delay has put me behind on my rent payments.

I'm feeling lost with whom to contact next. I've explained this situation many times. I actually used the American Express Serve card website, which partners with Ria for cash pickups at Walmart. I proceeded with a pickup, later canceled it, and now the funds, never withdrawn nor refunded, are missing. After reaching out to American Express Serve, Ria Money Transfer, and Walmart, I'm at a dead end. Each party claims they cannot assist and redirects me elsewhere. The blame game is ongoing, with no one owning up to the issue of my missing money.

I recently scheduled a cash pickup and decided to cancel it. However, after canceling, the money did not return to my account as expected. The transaction is showing as completed, but I did not pick up the money. I have contacted American Express, but they were unable to assist me and advised me to reach out to you. Despite previous attempts to resolve this issue with American Express, Ria, and Walmart, no one has been able to help me with the pending status of the transaction. Thank you.

Hello, this is Janice Henry, I recently applied for a Serve Debit Card and got approved, which I'm thankful for. However, I'm having trouble verifying my email to log into my online account. Despite multiple attempts to contact customer service by phone, I have only encountered automated systems. I have already checked my spam folder and clicked on the verification link numerous times. I am currently using the email associated with my account to send this message. I would appreciate it if someone could assist me in resolving this issue. I am eager to use my card but unfortunately, I am unable to access it at the moment. Thank you for your help. Best regards, Janice Henry
