I recently bought an American Express Serve card to link to my PayPal account for a new business venture. I tried to register the card and create an account but was denied without any explanation. Furthermore, there have been multiple unauthorized charges of .10 and .12 cents each. Despite being denied an account, I was charged a service fee. When I contacted customer service, I was hung up on and during my second call, I was placed on hold for over an hour without getting any help. This experience has been completely unacceptable. I request this matter to be escalated to a supervisor as the customer service representatives I interacted with were unhelpful and inefficient.

I purchased an Amex Serve card and attempted to register it. Unfortunately, my account was denied without any explanation. I have encountered unauthorized transactions and was charged a service fee, even though I had the card for only a week. When I tried to contact customer service, I was disconnected and left waiting on hold indefinitely without any assistance. I am requesting a refund for the service fees and unauthorized transactions. It would be helpful if Serve could communicate the reasons for account denial to customers and improve the training of their customer service representatives.

Hello, I am Ashley Riddick. I received one of your cards from my local Jackson Hewitt. I took out a tax loan to pay my bill, only to realize they will all be late. Your company takes 7 business days to transfer money to another account, and there must be a simpler way. I am very angry and upset; if I had known it would take 7 days instead of the 2 days the website claims, I would not have made the transfer. I am not familiar with your company, but this process is unfavorable for customers. I will inform my friends, family, and coworkers to steer clear of Jackson Hewitt and your company. This has been the worst experience for me. Unfortunately, I have nothing positive to say about your company. It is disappointing that there is no customer care line available. The individuals I spoke with lacked customer service skills and had difficulty communicating in English. I will also leave a review on Google regarding this issue. Just a terrible experience. Thank you, Ashley Riddick

Hello, My name is Ashley Riddick. I obtained one of your cards from my local Jackson Hewitt to help with a tax loan for my bill. Unfortunately, I discovered all payments will be late. Your company's process of transferring money to another account takes 7 business days, which is longer than the 2 days stated on the website. This delay has caused me a great deal of frustration and disappointment. If I had known about the longer processing time, I would not have made the transfer. This has been a very negative experience for me. I am not familiar with your company, but I believe there should be a more efficient way to handle these transactions. I am dissatisfied with the lack of customer care and professionalism I encountered when dealing with your representatives. I am so unhappy with the situation that I intend to dissuade my friends, family, and colleagues from using both Jackson Hewitt and your services. I will also be leaving a negative review on Google to share my experience. Thank you, Ashley Riddick

Hello, my name is Shania Weaver. Several weeks ago, my purse was stolen containing my prepaid Visa debit card, wallet, and phone. I have since obtained a new phone with the same number (1-[redacted]) but am unable to access the email ([redacted]) associated with my Serve account. I am awaiting the arrival of my replacement card and need updates on the disputed charges and access to funds in my account. A prompt response via phone call, email, or chat to resolve this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Shania Weaver [redacted] [redacted]

I recently received my income tax on my American Express Serve card. However, I am encountering an issue when trying to request a withdrawal. After inputting the amount and checking the user agreement box, I attempt to confirm the withdrawal but receive an error message stating, "Oops, we hate having to give bad news but we cannot approve your request." I am aiming to withdraw $[redacted].00 from my card to use Ria to pick up the money from Walmart. It is frustrating that I cannot speak to a live agent when calling customer service, only access the automated system. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I utilized my Serve card for a two-night hotel booking and noticed two separate charges of [redacted].87 each, resulting in me being double charged. Initially, the motel manager assured me that one charge would drop off once the first transaction was completed. After contacting American Express Serve customer service, they mentioned a similar resolution timeframe of 3 to 5 business days. However, after 5 days, one charge decreased to [redacted].00, while the other [redacted].87 charge remained. Upon further discussions with American Express, they extended the waiting period to 7 to 10 days. It has now been 10 days, and they are stating it could take up to 30 days. I require my funds to be returned as the motel stay has already concluded almost 2 weeks ago. I am frustrated with the delay and uncertainty surrounding my money. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I am writing regarding my Serve account that got permanently suspended, supposedly due to allowing a deposit. I was unaware that this was not allowed. James G. used my account as he didn't have his banking details for his tax filing. We assumed it was fine since he had only filed taxes through services like Jackson Hewitt. I had already received $5,[redacted], and his amount was pending when the account got locked after his money came in. Please advise on the next steps for us to retrieve the money. Thank you.

When I recently checked my balance on my phone, it did not display the information. I have been a holder of an American Express Serve account since November [redacted]. Unfortunately, I have encountered issues ever since my twin brother, G.J., misused my insurance funds. This led the U.S. Marshals to intervene, resulting in my account being restricted. This situation is frustrating as they are also attempting to wrongly involve me in financial matters involving my canteen and social security funds. I kindly request assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Please contact me at glenjones2000@[redacted] or [redacted] to rectify this situation.

Could someone please assist me in resolving a complicated issue with my American Express Serve account? The U.S. Marshals mistakenly interfered with the service, claiming false accusations against me in an attempt to frame me. This arose after they unlawfully took my twin brother Giles Jones and Jeremy Nelson. They misused my insurance funds and caused American Express Serve to cancel my account based on untrue statements. I want to clarify I am not involved in any drug use or racism. The U.S. Marshals are targeting me out of frustration as the federal agent gave me power of attorney upon discovering their deceitful actions. This situation is unfair, preventing me from accessing my own funds. It's distressing to learn they are mistreating my family members. This needs urgent attention to rectify the disturbing events orchestrated by the U.S. Marshals.

My Serve card was stolen, and unauthorized charges were made without any alerts or freezing the card by Serve. Despite filing a police report and disputing the transactions, I have not heard from Serve's fraud department in 9 business days. Each time I call, I either get disconnected or the representatives are unable to provide any helpful information until after the investigation. I am disappointed by the lack of professionalism and support, especially considering that American Express is affiliated with them. I am seeking advice on how to request a provisional credit for my account.

I recently received two Serve cards from American Express in the mail without requesting them. One card has my daughter's name misspelled on it, and the other card has the name "Max" with our last name, even though we don't have anyone named Max in our family. Both cards were sent to our home address. I'm worried about fraud and want to cut up the cards, but before doing so, I was advised by American Express customer service to contact Serve. Trying to reach Serve over the phone has been difficult as I can't seem to get connected to a live person despite trying different options. Please advise on the next steps to take.

Upon receiving my card from Jackson Hewitt, I was informed by the employee that ATM withdrawals at Walmart would be free. However, when I attempted to make withdrawals, I was charged $6.50 each time. I have checked my statement, and these charges occurred about 4 or 5 times. Even if Walmart imposed a fee, $6.50 per withdrawal seems exorbitant considering I was told it would be free by the Jackson Hewitt employee.

Subject: Disappointing Experience at Downtown Marriott I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Tampa Downtown and to request appropriate compensation for the inconveniences I encountered. Upon arrival, I was assigned a room that did not meet Marriott's usual high standards. The room was not clean, with noticeable stains on the bedding, which left me feeling uneasy about the room's overall cleanliness. Additionally, the check-in associate was unfriendly and even rude to my guests. I have documentation to support my claims, including photos and videos. Moreover, the room's amenities were either out of order or outdated, further affecting my comfort and relaxation during my stay. The hotel staff's unprofessionalism and lack of responsiveness to my requests only added to my disappointment. Despite reporting these issues to the front desk, no action was taken, and I felt neglected. In conclusion, my experience at the hotel was far from satisfactory, and I believe I was inadequately compensated. As a loyal Marriott member, I trust that the management will address my concerns promptly and offer a suitable resolution. Thank you for considering my feedback. Best regards, L. Griffin [redacted]

I recently obtained a new debit card and attempted to verify it on the online site. After contacting customer service multiple times on 3/31/23, I was instructed to wait five business days due to exceeding the verification attempts. Each time I tried to address the issue, the call got disconnected. When verifying the charges, I received a technical difficulties message. It was frustrating and misleading. I am considering reaching out to the Colorado Banking Association for assistance. The site deducted $1.22 and $1.08 from my debit card/credit union account on 3/31/23. It would be helpful if any time limits were clearly communicated. The experience with customer service was unprofessional, especially when they disconnected the call after knowing my age and the issue. I am eagerly awaiting a resolution and expect my information to be updated promptly.

To Whom It May Concern, My name is Kevin Schroeder, and my account number with you is 3[redacted] [redacted] [redacted]. During the pandemic, there was confusion with my wife mistakenly depositing my son's funds into my account due to sharing the same name. I have been unwell after contracting Covid-19, but now that I am feeling better, my son has requested to rectify this issue. I am aware that all other improper deposits have been returned, except for one where a withdrawal was made. The remaining balance in the account is $[redacted].51, and I seek your guidance on the appropriate resolution. My son has obtained a Serve card in his name and has confirmed that the funds rightfully belong to him and were included in his unemployment benefits. Despite receiving automated monthly balance emails, I have not been contacted by American Express regarding this matter. I kindly request your prompt attention and response to address this situation efficiently. Sincerely, Kevin Schroeder

I purchased a temporary prepaid card from a retail store, added funds to it, but have been unsuccessful in registering it despite trying for almost 2 months now. I sent an email with pictures of the card, receipt, and my ID, but haven't received any response via email or phone. I'm quite frustrated as I haven't been able to use the card. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My contact number is [redacted], and the card number is 3[redacted]79-[redacted] 83.

I made a $[redacted].83 purchase using my prepaid pay-as-you-go card on HibbettSports.com. Initially, there was an overcharge that was later refunded by them. After Hibbett Sports couldn't fulfill part of my order, they were supposed to refund me a little over $30. Knowing how payments on hold work, as I have an accounting background, I expected the refund to be processed back to my card once Hibbett Sports updated my order total. However, it has been almost a week, and I am still waiting for the refund, which the app still shows as on hold. I simply want to receive the refund that I should have gotten days ago.

I am unable to resolve this issue where I am only being charged $1 instead of the full amount for a month. Despite receiving emails about a statement, I have not used the card and would like to close the account ending in [redacted]. I have tried to contact customer service to no avail. I previously attempted to reset my password but lacked the necessary information. Please contact me at [redacted] or through email. My name is Jill D., born on 08/20/[redacted]. Thank you.

I made an online purchase with Hibbett Sports on April 15th. When I went to pick up my order, they were out of stock for two items. I received a refund of $34, but it has been on hold since then. American Express blames Hibbett Sports for not releasing the funds, while Hibbett Sports is pointing fingers at American Express. I have been on hold with both companies for weeks and I am frustrated. I just want my money back and I am considering escalating this further if it's not resolved soon.
