Hello, my name is Rosie Mayne. I had a reservation from April 22, [redacted], to April 23, [redacted], with the receipt ID RCFER9E9PZ. On April 22, [redacted], I contacted multiple support agents to access my Airbnb but the host did not respond on time. The first agent suggested canceling and refunding our reservation if the host didn't reply within a set time and offered $15 per guest for breakfast. However, following up with two more agents, we were told the host would get more time, causing frustration after already spending five hours on this. Consequently, we booked another place in SoHo, assuming the original booking would be canceled and refunded. When the original host finally replied, they were unhelpful, wanting to give keys while guests were still there, making us uneasy. After contacting support again, we were told the host would get more time before a decision. We sought to speak with a manager to ensure the promises made were kept and were informed of a 24-72 hour delay for an update. I am confirming the request and providing more context, hoping Airbnb will honor the refund and cancellation.

Today, I received a booking that your team identified as a scam and subsequently cancelled, leading to my account being deactivated. I want to clarify that I was not involved in this scam. Bookings on my Airbnb Experience page are automatically accepted, and I was unaware of any fraudulent activity.
I would like the opportunity to discuss this issue with you as I had no intention of participating in a scam or misusing my Airbnb page. I sincerely hope that my account can be reinstated, as I value my standing with Airbnb.

I encountered issues with my check-in yesterday at the Cradle of Galileo Galilei in Florence, Italy. The host, Gennaro/Modestino, was unreachable at the specified address on Via Della Chiesa 31. Despite trying various means of contact including phone calls, texts, and emails, we received no response. We even sought help from a realtor who also couldn't reach Gennaro at the provided number. Due to the lack of assistance, we had to find alternative accommodation at Hotel Lorena on Via Faenza. I am requesting a full refund for the reservation cost, as we did not receive the services we had paid for at the initial location.

I would like to report a case of fraud. We saw an available 1-bedroom apartment in Leipzig on Airbnb that seemed suspicious. To verify, we went to the described location, identified the landlord, and inquired if the listing was genuine. The man trying to rent out the apartment did not reside there and had never owned a property there. The landlord advised us to report this to both Airbnb and the police. I am willing to share the chat conversation with you, although I am unable to attach it here. Given the possibility of the ID attached to the apartment photos being fake, it might be challenging to block the individual who posted the ad on your platform. Nonetheless, we believe it is important that you are informed about this matter.

We lost our phone, and the individual who lost it was in communication with the apartment owner via the Airbnb app. Unfortunately, we are unable to access the owner's Airbnb profile on another device to continue communicating. The owner did not provide an emergency contact number, so we are unable to reach them. We are seeking assistance to contact the owner and inquire about what we need to do before our departure tomorrow morning. My personal Airbnb account got suspended for being disruptive and noisy, even though I haven't used it since [redacted]. The agent I spoke to confirmed this. Subsequently, my business account got suspended too since it was linked to my personal one. All my summer Airbnb bookings got canceled due to this. Hello, my name is Mellisa, and I'm reaching out about an Airbnb booking issue. My husband, Kevin John, and I made a reservation from May 18-25, and upon arrival, we encountered a problem with no hot water. After contacting the host, the issue was resolved. However, a few days later, we noticed small bugs throughout the property, even in the air vents, couches, walls, and windows. I expressed my concern to the host, who arranged for an exterminator to visit. Due to the safety of my children, especially my 6-month-old with asthma, I decided to leave the property during the extermination process. Upon returning, I found dead bugs everywhere, which was quite appalling. I am currently staying at [redacted] VISTACOURT DRIVE, Plano, TX [redacted], hosted by Mohamadoul Hafizou Souleymalam Moussa, who charged me $[redacted] with fees included. I had guests stay in my house in Puerto Rico for the full duration they paid for, even though we experienced a two-hour power outage during their stay. I have been struggling to update the personal information on my account without any luck. An outdated email address, which I no longer have access to, is currently listed as my contact information. Even after contacting customer service, the only advice given was to be patient and try again later.
If I didn't require assistance, I wouldn't have reached out for help. I have already invested significant time in finding the accommodation we desire, and I am concerned that it might get booked by another individual while I am dealing with this problem.

My group of four travelers and I recently stayed at [redacted] Lindsay St. in Houston, TX from June 11 to June 14 for 3 nights. On June 12 in the morning, I noticed two red bumps on my face and some on my arms. Later in the afternoon, I found bugs on the dirty mattress with blood on the sheet where I had slept. I contacted the owner with photos, and he promptly sent someone to spray the bed. However, after considering a new location due to the bug situation, we decided against it as the place had poor reviews. Despite leaving the property early on June 13, the owner claimed the house was clean, but I still had multiple itchy bites causing physical and emotional distress. I had to seek medical attention and am requesting a full refund for our disrupted stay.

I rented my house in Nicaragua on 6/17/[redacted] to a group of seven people. The main contact had a pleasant demeanor and five 5-star reviews. The house was well-equipped with new linens, towels, flowers, and a thoughtful gift for the guests.
Although everything seemed fine during their stay, I returned to my house at 12:30 PM on Sunday to a smell of smoke. Shockingly, I found a burning pile of cardboard on my covered patio. I promptly extinguished the fire, but my custom hardwood patio furniture was damaged. Even more disturbing, the propane tank on my BBQ had its fuel supply line deliberately burned, creating a potentially dangerous situation with the cut hose ends charred through.
Despite the incident, the house was left relatively clean, with only minor issues like a broken wine glass. I suspect that one of the guests' companions may have been responsible for the reckless behavior. I intend to address the damages once I receive my deserved 5-star rating from the guests.
