A few weeks ago, I received an email and then a phone call informing me that my AFFIRM payment account was overdue. This came as a surprise as I have always had automatic payment withdrawal set up from my personal Bank of America checking account.

I am encountering issues signing up for Affirm. The system claims I already have an account, which is inaccurate. After verifying my full social security number, it displayed a phone number that I do not recognize. When attempting to recover the account, it mentioned sending an email to the account's email address on file. Since I only have one email address, I have not received the verification code. I have been attempting to update my phone number and email address for months without success. I no longer have access to the email account I used to sign up for the site, and the phone linked to my account is no longer in my possession. Whenever I try to make these changes on the website, the verification codes are sent to unreachable contacts. Despite contacting customer service twice, the issue remains unresolved. The representative I spoke with recently promised to update my email to [redacted] to enable me to change my phone number, but the system still directs codes to the old email. Ensuring that you have processed my cancellation is crucial as a payment deadline is approaching. I'm having trouble accessing my account because my old email and phone number are no longer valid. I spoke with an Affirm representative on the phone and provided my new email, [redacted], for them to update my account information. They assured me I would receive an email within 24 hours to reset my account access, but it has now been 72 hours and I have not received anything.
