Dear [Redacted], I am writing to express my recent dissatisfaction with At&t customer service. As a loyal customer for the past decade, I have encountered several issues in the last year that have made me reconsider my commitment to your company. Recently, a significant payment was deducted from my mother's account without authorization, causing financial strain and leaving her with no funds until her next pay date. This oversight is unacceptable, especially considering our reliance on every paycheck. Although my family and I are considering switching to another service provider due to these concerns, I am currently bound to At&t until I can find a suitable alternative that meets my needs. Furthermore, there are devices on my account, such as a phone and tablet, that have been paid off or suspended due to theft but are still incurring charges. These devices should be removed from my account promptly to avoid any unnecessary fees. I hope this matter can be resolved promptly and look forward to your response. I visited an AT&T store in Orlando, specifically the Lake Fredicka area, and was interested in the iPhone 13 Pro Max and the iPhone watch due to an advertised $[redacted] discount for new and existing members. However, I missed out on the discount by $5 because I was upgrading from my iPhone 8 Plus. Despite purchasing various accessories like a charging station, car adaptor, case, protector, earbuds, and wall adapter, I was told that I needed to pay upfront for the iPhone watch separately. This was disappointing as I've been a loyal customer for over 15 years and fell just short of qualifying for the discount. I hope AT&T can reconsider and allow me to add the phone to my monthly bill as initially expected, honoring the discount promised in the advertisement. On October 29th, [redacted], my landline, internet, u-verse, and email access abruptly stopped. It took until November 5th for a technician to visit and restore the services. During this time, I received a new modem meant for fiberoptics, instead of what I needed. On the 5th of November, a service person came and rectified the issue. Despite assurances from AT&T representatives that I would receive credit for the seven days without service, my recent bill shows no such adjustments. This lack of credit for the downtime has been disappointing and costly, both personally and in terms of the AT&T services themselves.

After living in the USA for nearly 12 years, I've returned to Iran temporarily to address some family legal matters. I tried to stop my AT&T wireless service online, but it requires a PIN sent to my number which I never received. I reached out to AT&T International Support, however, they mentioned they don't cover Iran and I won't get the PIN through text. Moreover, they advised me to visit a store which they claim doesn't exist in Iran. This situation has left me puzzled. I don't want to continue paying for a service I can't use while here. I asked for help with activating WiFi calling, but that also requires a PIN. I'm hoping someone can assist me in resolving this issue. Thank you.

My account number is allegedly [redacted]91. I am Maha Wasef. I recently attempted to set up an internet service. After providing all my information for 45 minutes to create the account, I received an email stating that there was an existing account at that address. Following a call and another 45-minute wait, the account was canceled. Today, I received a text thanking me for my new account. After 30 minutes on the phone, I was transferred to Sarah, who assured me the error was fixed and promised to email a cancellation confirmation. However, I received a confirmation email for the installation of the new service instead. This experience has been frustrating, outrageous, and a waste of my time. Dealing with AT&T feels chaotic, disorganized, and cluttered.

I am formally requesting the cancellation of all services with AT&T and the disabling of any auto-renew subscriptions. According to Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § [redacted], I have the legal right to do so. Despite California state law requiring easy cancellation options, I found it difficult to locate such options with AT&T. I have proof of their challenging cancellation process if needed. As per Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §§ [redacted] and [redacted], I can terminate online services online. This email serves as my termination notice to AT&T. I do not wish to engage in prolonged communication regarding this matter. Any continued billing will result in legal action. Any inaccurate reports to consumer agencies are protected under The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). I will take action against any violations. Thank you for your attention. I anticipate your confirmation.

During my three-week stay in LA, my cellular data service was abysmal. Even on the drive to Eureka, I experienced poor data service. Now that I am back home in Eureka, my cellular data speed is extremely slow, rendering it unusable. Despite resetting my network connection and rebooting my phone, the service remains poor. Reflecting on the last two months, it seems like this subpar data service has been consistent. Overall, the data service has been consistently unsatisfactory.

I have been an AT&T customer since [redacted] and have always paid on time. I sent check # [redacted] on 11/15/[redacted] for $46.04 for the billing date of October 19, [redacted]. However, your new bill states you did not receive the payment. Please check with the Post Office. I am returning all the documents you sent me, which you should receive by 12/02/[redacted]. I will visit your office on Brand Blvd. in Glendale, California tomorrow to pay $46.04 in cash for this month. If you receive my check later, please return it to me. My wife had a similar issue with Verizon due to postal delays. Please send me the bill for November [redacted], and I will pay for October in cash again. I have a flawless payment record since [redacted]. Please confirm the receipt of this message so I can proceed with the payment tomorrow. Thank you.

I recently returned from deployment as an active duty Marine. Prior to leaving, I informed AT&T about my overseas deployment and opted for the $10 international pay pass plan as a precaution. However, after two to three months into my deployment, I discovered that my bill had skyrocketed to about $50k, resulting in the cancellation of my phone service due to non-payment. AT&T is now giving me the runaround as I try to dispute these charges. Is this the way service members are treated?

I think I might be on the wrong AT&T page since it's showing inaccurate information. The mobile number displayed doesn't match mine, and bizarrely, my LANDLINE phone number is showing up as the account number instead of my mobile number. I also noticed other profile issues on this unfamiliar AT&T page. I ended up having to make a payment over the phone because of this confusion, but unfortunately, I never received a payment confirmation.

My internet connection keeps cutting out, especially during phone calls. Other people's connections are fine, so it seems to be my issue. I was previously advised to get a new extender due to problems, but I hesitated as my internet seemed fine. I'm unsure if I need a new modem/router, extender, or both. During installation, I was told I had the fastest speed, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. I'd like to schedule an appointment for a technician to come out and assess the problem. I'll be expecting a call.

I recently participated in the trade-in program to upgrade our family's phones. We bought three iPhone 13 Pros, which arrived promptly. Although I received return packaging for one phone, I'm still waiting for the kits for the other two phones. I spoke with representatives who assured me that they would arrive by December 2, but they have not. I won't be able to send the phones back within the 30-day timeframe due to travel until Sunday, December 12. I was promised a 30-day extension for the two additional phones ([redacted] and [redacted]) because of the delayed return materials. Please confirm the extension status. Please cancel the scheduled tech service call for Thursday between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM. The television is now working properly, so the service visit is no longer needed. I do not have the credit card details on hand, but the service should not incur any charges. The TV had been showing a "no connection" message for several days, but it is now functioning correctly. I reside at [redacted] McClure in Gulf Breeze under the name John R. Unfortunately, I will not be able to complete the required $1 step. I kindly ask to cancel the service call. I usually have my sister, Cynthia L., handle these matters, but she is unavailable at the moment as she is at the movies. To reiterate, I do not require any service visit. ‼️ Thank you.

My father set up a home internet account using my name, but now I cannot access it. I was informed of an outstanding balance leading to the service being suspended. I've spent days on the phone attempting to close the account. Recently, a male AT&T representative in Atlanta refused to assist me, claiming I was a random person and couldn't cancel the account just because it's in my name. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, he declined. All I want is for this unauthorized account to be closed and the bill sorted out.

In October, I visited AT&T in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to explore purchasing a hotspot as suggested by the manager. I was informed about a First Responders program, FirstNet, due to my healthcare profession. The manager assured multiple times that if I didn't qualify, there would be no charges. I switched to AT&T, obtained the hotspot, and submitted my credentials. Unfortunately, my credentials didn't meet the criteria. The following day, I returned the hotspot and requested cancellation of the plans. Despite this, a $55 restocking fee was charged, and the plans weren't canceled promptly. In addition, I was billed $[redacted] for a month's service within 24 hours, even with no AT&T signal at my location. Attempts to reach the manager were unsuccessful. Customer service could not refund the charges, claiming they were for taxes and fees. I requested escalation but was disconnected when seeking corporate contacts. I purchased two new phones for my wife and me. The salesperson at the store informed us that the total bill would be $[redacted].94. However, when the bill arrived, it was $[redacted].85. I visited the Houma store on West Park to address the issue, but the manager refused to provide me with the salesperson's name or assist me with the bill. Despite my request for an explanation of the charges, Kenya, the manager, threatened to involve the police if I didn't leave the store. Her dismissive attitude and behavior towards me were unacceptable, as all I wanted was clarification regarding the bill. Kenya's unprofessionalism and lack of customer service left me feeling unheard and mistreated.

I need assistance with my ATT internet router in Alpine, Texas. I have an ATT U-verse NVG599, and the self-checks indicated an issue with the battery. My bill is on autopay, so I don't have an account number. Despite there being no ATT store in my town, I was informed that there are two service technicians locally who could assist, but I'm unsure how to contact them. I'm uncertain if the problem lies with my broadband or Wi-Fi, and I require either service or replacement for my router.

My wireless service was disconnected due to a missed payment. I paid on 11/23/21 and have the payment confirmation number 75M7EPAYF035PKD for account number [redacted]13. I was informed by billing that the payment was stopped by the bank on 12/1/21, even though AT&T sent a payment confirmation showing it was processed. With medical issues in my family, having our phones off is really difficult right now. We rely on our phones for doctors to reach us. I am requesting an extension until 1/1/22 to investigate this payment matter further and to have our phone service reactivated during this period. Thank you.
