Target.com is ranked 21st in eCommerce and shopping websites worldwide. One reason for this ranking is due to the ease and use of the website, Target.com. Logging in and placing an order is a cinch ... so is cancelling an order. Let's step through how to cancel an order from Target.com.

How do I cancel my Target.com order?

Target.com allows customers three separate methods to cancel their Target.com order.

The first and perhaps the most effective method for cancelling your Target.com order is by logging into your account on Target.com. Select the order in your Target.com and locate the item(s) you wish to cancel. Select Request cancellation (please note that Request cancellation option will only appear for items that have yet to process for shipping). Select a cancellation reason, then select Cancel item. Shortly afterwards, you will receive a cancellation confirmation email. A temporary authorization hold may be placed on your card, but will be released and your funds available once your bank releases the hold.

The second way Target.com customers can cancel their orders is by simply calling Target.com Customer Support and talking with a Target.com Customer Support representative.

The third and least desirable way to cancel your order is to simply refuse the order upon delivery. When Target.com receives the refused order, they'll process the return and send a confirmation refund email to your email address associated with your Target.com account. Alternatively, you can also use the prepaid Target.com return label to return your order. This last and less desirable option is often used by Target.com customers who tried cancelling on Target.com or by calling Target.com Customer Support, but missed the cancellation deadline.

How do I cancel my Target.com pickup order?

Target.com pickup orders can be cancelled using the first two methods from above, or less desirably by not picking up your order within the seven day pickup window. Like all other cancellation methods, a temporary authorization hold may be placed on your card, but will be released and your funds available once your bank releases the hold.

Will I be charged a fee if I cancel my Target.com order?

No. You will not be charged any fees when you cancel a target.com. Your funds will be available as soon as your bank releases the temporary hold authorization, if any, on your card.
