If you would like to cancel your Sirius-XM service, you should contact the support team. If your decision is prompted by any issues on their part, they may help you solve it allowing you to keep using their services. Sirius-XM does not allow you to cancel your application online.

Changing Your New Subscription

If you would like to start using a different subscription package, you can easily do it online. You simply need to register your account. You must have your Account number or Radio ID. If you don't have that information, contact a customer care agent and ask for help.

Once you register your account, log into the option 'My Account' on the website. Navigate to the 'My Subscriptions' tab and find the package you would like to change. Click on the option 'Change my subscription' on the dropdown menu. Sirius-XM allows you to upgrade or downgrade your package.

Once you pick the package you want, follow the prompts to accept your new package. When you request an activation signal, you will receive your new channel lineup. When contacting Sirius-XM for your activation signal, you must have your ID/ESN handy.

Ensure that your radio is powered up and tune it to Channel 184 for Sirius radio. For XM and Sirius XM radios, tune to channel 1. Your antenna should have a clear sky view when sending your activation signal.

You may verify your signal by tuning in to Channel 4. The process is complete if you can hear audio. If you run into any issues, you may contact a customer care representative and ask for help.

Moving Your Subscription to a Different Radio

Sirius-XM allows you to transfer your subscription to a new radio that is not currently active on a trial subscription. It doesn't allow you to transfer your trial subscription. You are required to pay a one-time fee to complete your transfer request. The fee varies depending on the package type.

On the website, log in to the 'My Account' section and find the radio you would like to replace another one for. Click on the option 'Replace this radio with another' on the drop-down box. If you don't have an online account, you may need to register one first.

Restrictions for Radio Replacement
