If you bought something from NordicTrack and found, once you got it, that it was damaged or defective, then you probably want to exchange it for undamaged equipment that functions properly. Keep on reading to learn how.
NordicTrack requests that customers inspect packages for damage upon receiving them, and before opening them and that they take pictures of any damage. Those pictures may be necessary for making a claim against the shipping company. The company wants you to report any sign of damage within 24 hours of receiving the equipment. However, If you do not notice the damage until you set the equipment up later, contact NordicTrack to work it out.
You have a maximum of 30 days to initiate the return. The company will try to fix the problem. If that is impossible, it will replace the equipment instead. For discontinued equipment, NordicTrack will replace it with similar equipment or issue a refund.
NordicTrack will assess the returned item before approving the exchange. If it is has a major defect, NordicTrack will pay for the return freight costs. You may have to pay a restocking fee of 10% of the cost of the item. If the equipment was damaged while in your care, you may not receive a refund.
Contact NordicTrack's customer service department and explain the situation to them.
