You can transfer money between your own accounts or to a third party if you have an HSBC account. Recurring transfers let you schedule payments of specific amounts from your account on set dates. Here are the steps to setup a recurring transfer in my HSBC account.
You can create a recurring transfer by logging in to My Accounts via Internet Banking or through the Mobile App. Click the Transfer link under Transfers.
Select the Transfers tab. Next, click the Add New Transfer. It will take you to the transfer details section. In this section, enter the amount you wish to transfer and a date you want transferred (you can have it every week, month or year). Once you enter this information, click Next Step.
Click Recurring Transfer under the Money Management section. Enter the amount you wish to transfer, frequency and your transfer start date. Add any other relevant information, such as Payee Account Number and Name.
To review your details, click Transaction History and then select Transfer History. The Transfer History screen will display all the transfers you have made.
To edit any of them, click the transaction number or the transaction date to bring up a menu to view or change the details.
Then click Confirm and Submit to save your changes and close the window to complete setup of your recurring transfer in your HSBC account.
You will receive an email confirming HSBC has successfully submitted your recurring transfer request.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like HSBC in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our How Do I Setup a Recurring Transfer in My HSBC Account? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
