There are some things you need to be aware of before canceling an existing transfer from your Bank of America account:

  • Transfers that are already processing or that are within the processing window (three banking business days before the scheduled transaction) cannot be canceled.

If you are sending a Zelle payment through your Bank of America account, you can only cancel an existing transaction if the recipient has not enrolled in Zelle; otherwise, Zelle payments are processed immediately when the money is sent.
