What are the hours and when should I call?

Starbucks operates the call center for this 877-309-3180 phone number 24 hours, 7 days. The short answer is that you should call on a Friday. This observation and the following section are based on analysis of a sample set of 4,499 calls made in the last 90 days using our free, web-based phone (see above).
An important note: busy times vs hold times vs best time to call
When we refer to busy or less busy times, we are talking about the volume of calls. The busiest times are when the most people are calling this Starbucks phone number (least busy times have fewer people calling). This high call volume does not necessarily mean that you will have a long hold time when you call. Companies like Starbucks staff their call centers differently based on the time of day and day of the week, so you may experience a shorter wait on hold at the busiest of times. When we refer to the best time to call, we are referring to the optimal combination of lower call volume and shorter wait times.

The least busy time to call

The least busy day to call Starbucks is Friday. The most busy day to call is Wednesday. Again, this is based on a sample of 4,499 calls made with our AI-powered, web-based phone in the last 90 days.

The shortest wait on hold

We measured the shortest hold times to be on Monday. The longest wait in the queue on average occurs on Wednesday.

The best time to call

In summation, the best day to call Starbucks is Friday. This is not the day with the shortest wait on hold in the phone system, but we still recommend it for its ideal combination of low call volume and short hold times. Plus we believe that Starbucks staffs the call center well on Friday.

Calling this Starbucks Customer Number

Calling Starbucks to get information is a quick and easy process, as you barely have to spend any time waiting to get connected. The one issue when calling is that you might get a less-than-perfect connection, but despite that hiccup, I was able to get all of my questions answered the first time I asked.

When I called, I was quickly moved through the automated menu and connected with a representative. I had to ask twice to hear her identify herself, but on the second time, the connection was clear. She asked how she could assist me, and I told her that I was wondering how long it took for gift cards to expire.

She told me that gift cards never expired once I had paid for one, but if I was talking about Starbucks rewards points, I would have six months to use them after I had earned them. I asked her how rewards points were used and whether the oldest ones were used first. She told me that if I earned any points today, I'd have six months from that date to use them before they expired. Additionally, I would get a notification at least a month before my points would expire, so I would always have an idea of when my points would be expiring before it occurred.

She then asked me if there was anything else she could do for me, and I said that she had answered all of my questions. She thanked me again for calling Starbucks and wished me a pleasant day.

Overall, I thought this was a strong interaction. I got my questions answered quickly, the representative was friendly and the wait time was practically nothing. Based on this experience, I would absolutely use this number if I needed assistance from Starbucks.
