How do I get through the phone menu to a real live person?

GetHuman researchers routinely call this KitchenAid phone number to document the phone system.
Here is our latest tip for weaving through the phone menu to get to a real person the fastest: Calling this KitchenAid number should go right to a real human being
Here is how our research team describes the way the KitchenAid phone system greets you: Your call is very important to us and will be answered in the order it was received.
In fact, much of this information on this page is superfluous because this KitchenAid phone number is a direct line to a human being. The line is well-staffed and you should anticipate a very short wait on hold or none whatsoever, as long as you are calling during business hours.
We don't know of any phone menus you would encounter when calling either.

What are the hours and when should I call?

KitchenAid operates the call center for this 866-457-9340 phone number 24 hours, 7 days. The short answer is that you should call on a Thursday. This observation and the following section are based on analysis of a sample set of 2,181 calls made in the last 90 days using our free, web-based phone (see above).
An important note: busy times vs hold times vs best time to call
When we refer to busy or less busy times, we are talking about the volume of calls. The busiest times are when the most people are calling this KitchenAid phone number (least busy times have fewer people calling). This high call volume does not necessarily mean that you will have a long hold time when you call. Companies like KitchenAid staff their call centers differently based on the time of day and day of the week, so you may experience a shorter wait on hold at the busiest of times. When we refer to the best time to call, we are referring to the optimal combination of lower call volume and shorter wait times.
The least busy time to call
The least busy day to call KitchenAid is Thursday. The most busy day to call is Monday. Again, this is based on a sample of 2,181 calls made with our AI-powered, web-based phone in the last 90 days.
The shortest wait on hold
We measured the shortest hold times to be on Friday. The longest wait in the queue on average occurs on Thursday.
The best time to call
In summation, the best day to call KitchenAid is Thursday. This is not the day with the shortest wait on hold in the phone system, but we still recommend it for its ideal combination of low call volume and short hold times. Plus we believe that KitchenAid staffs the call center well on Thursday.
Once again, please put this information in perspective because this phone number has no phone menu or long waits. It generally gets picked up right away if calling during their opening hours. If there is any way, it will typically be very short.

My Experience Calling KitchenAid at this Number

Dec 29, 2023

Calling KitchenAid can be straightforward as long as you call at the right time. The KitchenAid offices are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern on weekdays and are strict about that time frame. I didn't realize that when I called, as I was in a different time zone.

When I first dialed the number, I was greeted with information on exactly how to return a product if needed, which led me to believe this was strictly going to be a phone message. Instead, after going through the message repeating itself twice, I was immediately connected to a representative, who asked how he could assist me. I said that I was in the market for a mixer from KitchenAid, and I wanted to know how long the warranty was. He said it was good for one year from the date of purchase.

I then asked what the warranty would cover and what it wouldn't cover. Unfortunately, before he could answer, my phone had an issue and lost signal, ending the call unintentionally. I called back to try to finish the conversation, but when I dialed back, it was 5:02 Eastern time, and the offices for KitchenAid's call center had closed.

I instead got the call center's automated message, telling me that I would need to call back when KitchenAid was open. I did not receive a callback, as the representative had not asked for my number and had apparently not picked it up for a backup plan in case we got disconnected. With no other option, I had to end the call at that point.

Overall, I thought this was an easy experience as long as you've left enough time to get the help you need. Had I been able to get back to the person I had called, I'm sure that I would have been able to get assistance based on the ease of getting information and how quickly I was connected to the representative. I ran into no issues until my phone lost the call at the wrong time of the day.

I can't fault KitchenAid for its hours; it makes no effort to deceive its customers and get them to think their call will be answered when nobody is there to assist. Its representatives do seem to stay on after you've been connected should you exceed the 5 p.m. window, which is a notable positive.

If I was a legitimate customer of KitchenAid and needed assistance, I wouldn't have a problem using this number. However, I'd make sure that I knew the time and time zone compared to your home location in advance.
