I unfortunately fell for a fraudulent scheme on eBay. The seller used a fake account, and after paying $[redacted] with eBay gift cards per their instructions, I realized I had been scammed. I reached out to an employee named Ethan whose ID is [redacted], and I followed his instructions to try to get my money back. I was guided to create a Cash App account, but to my dismay, $[redacted] was deducted from my bank account without any refund in return. Now, I can't reach Ethan for help, and all the phone numbers I have for customer service are out of service. How can I connect with a real person from customer service to resolve this issue?

I purchased a blue Honda through eBay from Ruth Butler. I paid $[redacted] in eBay cards, providing the codes after scratching them off. I shared photos of the cards and receipts. Recently, eBay confirmed receiving them, but then asked for the photos again. I am yet to receive the car or paperwork. I fear being scammed out of $[redacted], nearly emptying my savings for the eBay cards. I recorded all the cards, receipts, and have pictures on my phone. My name is Deborah Payne. I recently purchased a Honda CBR600RR [redacted] and paid $[redacted] for insurance on June 4, [redacted]. I also paid $[redacted] for the bike on either May 31st or June 1st, [redacted]. However, after buying the insurance, the company contacted me the next day requesting my ID or driver's license number. Unfortunately, I lost my ID and couldn't provide the information. They informed me that I needed personal insurance, which I couldn't afford. I'm hoping to receive a refund. Someone fraudulently charged my account $[redacted] for a PS5 I ordered for my sister's birthday. After getting no response from the seller, I realized it was a scam. They provided a suspicious shipping label to USPS with no street address and claimed the console weighed 0.2 lbs, which is impossible. My sister never received the package, and the tracking number provided showed it was delivered to a place with no address. eBay's lack of support and difficult refund policy is infuriating. Dealing with this situation has been frustrating, and I hope eBay improves their service.

I recently purchased four items, but three of them were removed due to fraud. My selling limit went from $25,[redacted] to $15,[redacted]. The four paintings were listed for $2,[redacted].76, which is not accurate. They did not sell as the buyers may have used hacked accounts. I placed an order on March 23rd and was informed that the product had been shipped to me. Despite waiting, I have not received it. The seller suggested buying from elsewhere and offered to cover the $12.24 price difference and refund the original amount if the item isn't received. In their latest email, they mentioned the product returned to them and agreed to refund $12.24. They asked if I want the order resent or refunded. I have exchanged numerous emails with them, and they seem reluctant to refund me. It's been over two and a half months, and I need assistance getting my money back. I prefer not to leave negative feedback, but I may have to rate my experience honestly if they don't fulfill their promise to refund the $12.24 as agreed.

Subject: Assistance Needed for Non-Received Item Getting in touch with eBay has been very difficult for me. I am dissatisfied with a purchase I made from Autosilicones. Although the item no longer shows in my purchase history, I retrieved the details from PayPal. PayPal Transaction ID: [redacted]0WL990934H Invoice ID: v2_5c40247f-10ea-4de3-bd6f-54a[redacted]dd_2_6 I bought 4 stainless steel hose clips for £3.84 on 20th May. The delivery was expected by 26th May, but the items never arrived. The seller provided an invalid tracking number that the post office confirmed was not valid for proof of postage or receipt. It seems likely that the item was never posted. The seller, instead of refunding the full amount, has only refunded 96p, not the full £3.84. I have already bought the items elsewhere but I want a full refund for the undelivered goods. The seller's actions seem dishonest to me.

I returned a clock on May 14 and paid for shipping. I sent the item back via United Parcel Service and have the tracking number. However, eBay claims the item was not shipped. I believe the seller received the clock but hasn't refunded my money. I paid $93 for the clock, shipped it back at my own expense, and still haven't received my refund. I need eBay to assist in locating my refund as the seller has not returned my money. I feel like I have been scammed by this eBay seller, and if I do not receive my refund soon, I will have to take further action. Thank you.

I am an avid eBay customer who has consistently made purchases on the platform for many years. Unfortunately, my most recent order (Order 01-07[redacted]9) did not reach me as expected. Despite contacting the seller, reaching out to USPS, and even speaking to my neighbors, the package remains missing. I escalated the issue to eBay (Case #[redacted]) for intervention, but the resolution provided was unsatisfactory. There was no offer for a replacement or refund, and the case was closed prematurely. I ordered a Pokemon Jungle 1st Edition Booster Box on eBay, but the item was never delivered. The seller provided the wrong tracking information, and even though they acknowledged the mistake, the missing item case was closed without me receiving a refund. The seller apologized for the error in a message and mentioned that the item was just shipped using a free shipping method. They promised to update the tracking number within 24 hours. Despite this, I have proof showing the item was never delivered. I contacted eBay, and a representative confirmed the incorrect tracking information but mentioned that the case was closed. I am still seeking a resolution to this issue.

Hello, I bought item #[redacted]69 last Tuesday for just over $[redacted]. Initially, the payment was blocked, but the second attempt went through. Following this, the seller informed me that eBay was holding the payment. eBay explained that this was due to the seller being new, without providing further details. After several days of communication between eBay and the seller, the seller mentioned she would refund the money since the item was intended as a gift for my brother. Despite her assurance of cancelling and issuing a refund, I have not seen any evidence of the cancellation or refund on eBay or PayPal. I have since made another purchase for my brother. However, my attempts to reach the seller have been unsuccessful. I believe I may have been deceived by the seller, and I'm concerned about the funds. Could you please investigate this matter? I came across a Ford Ranger pickup on Marketplace Facebook. The seller informed me via email that the transaction is facilitated through eBay using an invoice number and eBay cards. The payment goes into a non-interest-bearing account until the vehicle is shipped to me. I have 5 days to decide on the purchase, and the money is released to the seller or returned to me based on my decision. I'm considering buying two vehicles this way, each from different sellers. Can anyone confirm if this process is legitimate or if I'm being scammed? Appreciate a prompt response.

On January 23rd, I bought a Westinghouse Generator for $1,[redacted] expecting a 3-year warranty. Recently, when I used it during a power outage, it started malfunctioning after 30 minutes. The Warranty Department informed me that since it wasn't from an authorized dealer, there's no warranty. I contacted eBay twice, but they directed me to PayPal. Despite reaching out to the seller and PayPal, I haven't received a satisfactory response. PayPal denied my claim alleging I tampered with the item, which is untrue. I'm keen on repairing the generator without affecting my complaint. The seller, indianvalleydist, is still selling the item on eBay falsely claiming a warranty. I seek a refund to purchase the generator elsewhere with a warranty and want the seller to declare the actual warranty status in their listings. The order number is 18-06[redacted]8.

I would like to report an incident where someone in Wilmington, Delaware is using my name and email address to make unauthorized purchases on Amazon and eBay. The person I spoke to over the phone identified himself as James with a case number Amaz25468. He requested that I confirm my identity at Walgreens to receive $[redacted] from Amazon to purchase an item on eBay. The individual using my information is Emily Asaro, with the shipping address listed as [redacted] Silview Avenue, Wilmington, Delaware [redacted]. I have reported this to Amazon, Kirkland police, and now to the community forum for awareness. Please contact me via email or phone at [redacted] if needed.

I recently sold an item and shipped it using Packlink/Hermes. The buyer informed me that the item never arrived. After checking the tracking information, it showed that the item was first delayed and then damaged. I contacted eBay and was instructed to have the buyer open an "item not arrived" case for a full refund. However, after refunding the buyer, I have not received reimbursement except for the final valuation fee. When I called eBay again, I was told to file a claim against Hermes, contrary to the previous advice. I am now out of £80 and would like to lodge a formal complaint with eBay as I followed their guidance which resulted in a loss for me. I hope to recover my losses without investing more time and effort into this matter. Thank you.

I would like my information to be removed from your eBay store today. My contact number and email along with private details need to be erased. I have discussed this with your manager and do not agree with them. There seemed to be something suspicious about your conduct on June 2nd and June 3rd. I believe you are trying to obtain my personal and sensitive information, which is unacceptable. I demand my information to be deleted promptly. Also, I expect my orders to be shipped and delivered to me by tomorrow. If not, I will need them by Friday at the latest. Please ensure that my account is deactivated on all associated websites.

I have not received my packages from today's order of King Kong versus Godzilla on DVD, two boxes of Yu-Gi-Oh cards, and other items. The DVD is priced at $12.95, totaling $13 with tax. The two Yu-Gi-Oh card boxes are $24 and $26 each, with one card costing $13 on my eBay store. Hello. My name is Jose Cruz. On March 30th, I made a purchase agreement via email with Amanda Perry for a white [redacted] Honda Accord EX-L with 86,[redacted] miles. We agreed that eBay Motors would be the intermediary for the purchase. eBay Motors emailed me the procedures for the transaction and delivery of the car. I paid $[redacted] for insurance, $[redacted] for customs, and $[redacted] for required procedures. The estimated delivery date was April 3rd of this year. Since April 3rd, I have not been able to contact Amanda Perry or eBay Motors for an update on the purchase. I have sent emails to customer service but have not received any response regarding the delivery or the status of the car I supposedly bought. I fear I may have been scammed. I would like eBay to provide a clear response to my complaint and either refund my full payment of $3,[redacted] or deliver the car as agreed upon.

Hello! I have a customer who wishes to return an item for a refund. The item is undamaged and matches the description perfectly. It is a dress designed for a 16-inch doll, as indicated in the title and description. The buyer is claiming that the dress doesn't fit because they have an 11-inch doll. However, they never informed me beforehand about the need for a different size. In response to the return request, I offered the option for the buyer to return the item at their own expense, and I would issue a full refund through eBay, as I believe I did not make an error. The buyer is insisting that I cover all costs for their oversight and is being impolite in our communication. I am wondering if I can decline the return without negatively affecting my store's rating in this situation. I take pride in fulfilling my responsibilities as a seller.
