I have sold £[redacted].00 worth of goods, but eBay has not released the money to PayPal despite buyers paying. eBay acknowledges owing me the funds but states they are not obligated to pay sellers and can retain [redacted]% of sales. They advised sending items to buyers without charge, allowing 45 days for payment. If not received, buyers can claim non-receipt and keep the items at no cost. eBay has recently implemented a rule requiring same-day shipping of sold goods, or funds will be withheld. Furthermore, all unsold items need tracking information, or sales will be forfeited. They mentioned sellers not receiving any funds as they keep the money. eBay indicated that if I wish to recover money from sales, law enforcement must intervene on the seller's behalf. eBay refuses to return funds regarded as stolen, insisting sellers will not receive payment for items sold. Buyers are not held accountable for payments.

I recently tried to log into my eBay account from my new computer and was prompted to verify my identity through a security question. Unfortunately, I couldn't answer it as I was at work. eBay then provided me with a phone number to call for a security code, but the number required a different number with fewer digits, and I couldn't find a way to speak to a live operator for assistance, only automated responses.

Gracias.

On October 2, [redacted], I placed an order for Men's Stuburt Urban Style Golf Shoes in USA Size 10. The order number is 25-05[redacted]3 with a total cost of $58.09 charged to my Visa card. The shoes I received on October 12 were UK size 7 instead of the requested size. I sent the wrong-sized shoes back to Golfbase in East Sussex, UK on October 14 at a cost of $39. It's been 34 days since then, and I still have no confirmation if the exchange has been processed. I've tried reaching out for assistance regarding my order with no success. I hope someone from eBay can assist me in resolving this issue promptly. This has been my first experience with eBay, and unfortunately, it has not been a positive one. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I bought a [redacted] Ford truck from Amanda Clayton for $[redacted]. I received an email with payment instructions, so I purchased 4 $[redacted] eBay cards. I provided the card numbers to Martha via live chat, who forwarded them to the correct department. After being told the truck was in transit, I was asked to add insurance. I complied but the truck never arrived. Despite emailing both eBay and Amanda with no response, I called customer service and spoke with Kevin Ward. He informed me of a hack on my account with 17 open accounts. He assured the truck would arrive the next day, which did not happen. In a series of transactions totaling $3,[redacted] in gift cards, Kevin claimed it was to verify my account and promised a refund for the hacker's expenses and the truck's delivery. After buying an additional $[redacted] card, Kevin requested one more. Frustrated with the situation, I seek answers on the truck's location and desire a refund for the $3,[redacted] spent on cards and $[redacted] for insurance. Thank you, Ruby Liddick.

I placed an order for a wireless winch remote on May 4, [redacted] (order number 03-04[redacted]9). Despite the seller claiming it was delivered, I never actually received it. After contacting the postal carrier as instructed, they confirmed they did not have the item. The seller insisted on sending a replacement rather than issuing a refund. In early October, a replacement was received, but the eBay order does not reflect its delivery status. To make matters worse, the replacement did not come with installation directions. Numerous attempts to request these instructions have been met with silence. Frustrated by the lack of response, I have asked for the item to be returned. Unfortunately, due to the tracking status, eBay is unable to facilitate a refund or return. I appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you, Ron.

I recently sold a mannequin head to a buyer on eBay, and despite my clear auction description stating it was for one item only, the buyer claimed he never received four heads. Even after confirming with him via email that it was only one head for sale, he disputed the transaction with eBay and received a refund for both the item and shipping costs. I am disappointed that eBay did not review my description before processing the refund. I am requesting either my money back or for the buyer to return the item at his expense. The item in question is listed under number [redacted]31. I hope this issue can be resolved promptly. Thank you, Nick Pulera.

I have been trying to reach out by phone, but I have not been successful. I am experiencing difficulty with a buyer on eBay. The buyer bid on a mannequin head I listed for sale, thinking it was for four heads instead of one as stated clearly in the description. He filed a complaint with eBay, claiming he did not receive the other three that were not part of the sale. eBay refunded him without considering the sale description. I have contacted eBay multiple times with no response. I am requesting a call back or a refund since the buyer received the item and his full payment. The item number in question is [redacted]31. I need assistance with this issue promptly.

I have unexpectedly received a package containing 3 sweatshirts from eBay, but I never ordered them. I noticed a charge of $30.91 on my bank statement from eBay for these items, although they don't appear in my Purchase History. I would appreciate assistance in obtaining a return receipt to send the shirts back and receiving a refund for the incorrect charge. I have reached out to customer service through calls and emails to no avail. The package shows a return address for Kevin at [redacted] Pioneer Blvd Suite 4, Santa Fe Springs, CA [redacted]. I'm looking for prompt resolution and a knowledgeable agent to guide me through the next steps. Thank you, J. Pope. Email: [redacted] Phone: [redacted].

Subject: Concern over Refund Request for ITEM #[redacted]74 Hello, I wanted to address the recent request for a total refund or receiving the item for free following the agreed upon $15 discount. This situation is concerning as it appears to be an attempt at fraudulent activity. I appreciate your understanding. The partial refund of $15 is acceptable. Thank you, C. Martin Hello laura1570, I am beginning to feel uneasy about the situation at hand. I plan to contact Ebay to help us resolve this matter accordingly. It is important to note that you initially requested a discount, which was granted. The item was sold under the conditions of AS-IS for parts, and insurance was not purchased. Given your experience on Ebay, I hope we can find a fair solution with Ebay's assistance. I do not require the return of the item. While I have provided items in the past at no cost, our agreement was for the $15 discount to bring this matter to a close. I appreciate your cooperation and await further insight from Ebay. Thank you for your attention to this matter. John

I am dissatisfied with the current operations of eBay. I have spent a significant amount on the platform and encountered issues with a recent purchase. The seller only sent one incorrect battery instead of the full order of two batteries. Despite my request, they are refusing to send a prepaid shipping label via mail to return the wrong item. The seller seems to be evasive, sending repetitive messages and not rectifying the situation promptly. Order Number: 11-05[redacted]0 Reason for Return: Wrong item sent Comments: I initially ordered Two 2-Pack Replacement For Porter Cable 18V Battery Ni-Cd Cordless Tools PC18BL, but only received one correct battery. The seller promised to send the missing battery but has not done so. I do not have a printer to generate a return label, and the seller's insistence on emailing it is causing delays. I am simply seeking the two missing batteries and a prepaid shipping label to return the incorrect item appropriately.

I am interested in selling fishing lures on eBay. When I went to describe the lures, I noticed that the terms "Black Bass," "Largemouth Bass," and "Largemouth Black Bass" were not available options. The "Largemouth Black Bass" is a very popular fish in the United States. I recommend looking into this. Once these terms are added, I will consider using eBay to sell my lures. If I do not receive a response or if there is no progress, I will move on from eBay. Thank you.

I contacted the seller through the member page and tried to cancel order 26-06[redacted]7, but it redirected me to a message board. I submitted the cancel request yesterday, 11/19, within an hour. The seller responded agreeing to the cancellation but requested a formal request. Confused, I couldn't locate the cancel order form and emailed [redacted] for help. Today, I tried to message the seller again, and the system indicated the seller can only cancel within an hour of ordering. Despite this, I sent another request. I later found out [redacted] had sent a message to the seller to cancel, although the item was already shipped on 11/20. I'm uncertain about eBay's processes and am now considering returning the product as it wasn't as expected. I'm unsure what to do next. Could someone assist me in canceling or returning the item? Thank you. Brian X.

I purchased an eBay card for $[redacted] about 6 hours ago. I would like guidance on transferring the balance to a different eBay card. A person named David, claiming to represent US Bank, contacted me via text saying I was approved for a $3,[redacted] loan through US Bank, with eBay as a partner. To proceed, I needed to buy an eBay card for $[redacted]. David assured me $3,[redacted] would be directly deposited into my account after he verified the eBay card. He was in regular contact, seeming trustworthy but persuasive. He provided instructions on where to buy the card and referenced my eBay activity due to their partnership. Once the eBay card was validated, I was instructed to inform another individual for final confirmation, who unexpectedly demanded money for a wire transfer. David insisted the loan paperwork would arrive soon, requiring my signature. I seek eBay's help in resolving this situation as I had to borrow money for the card under false pretenses of a loan that never materialized.

I have been reselling items I purchased from an online auction site on eBay for profit. I've sold a few things, including my old bed, a TV unit, and even my wife's car. However, out of the blue, I received an email informing me that my eBay account has been permanently suspended and all my active listings have been ended. Despite all the positive feedback from items that were successfully delivered, I can't seem to get through to anyone on eBay chat. The responses I received were all automated messages about keeping the platform safe, with one even accusing me of selling counterfeit items, which is completely untrue. I have transcripts of the chats as proof.

I am confused about how my checking account got linked to eBay, as I strictly use PayPal for transactions. Due to the challenges caused by COVID and the closure of our restaurant, our joint account serves as our only financial resource. PayPal has been crucial for managing our finances like a savings account, helping us through tough times. eBay's unauthorized linkage to our checking account is causing distress, especially considering the security risks involved. I strongly prefer using PayPal and do not want eBay involved in our financial matters. Such actions by eBay are disrespectful, particularly given the current circumstances. It is imperative for eBay to respect users' preferences, especially during these difficult times.

Hello, I would like some advice, please. I recently sold a damaged Swarovski crystal item (Baby Love Birds on a Perch) and made sure to clearly show and describe the damage in the listing photos. The buyer purchased it, and after delivery, she claimed she was unaware of the damage and inquired about its severity. I truthfully informed her and suggested she review the photos again. She then mentioned she had already paid. I meticulously packaged the item with its original Swarovski foam and box, double bubble wrapping, and extra paper wrapping for shipping. Upon receiving the item, the buyer sent photos of it severely broken, expressing disappointment. I am devastated because this item held sentimental value and selling it was a last resort due to financial difficulties. I suspect the damage occurred post-delivery as the packaging was secure. Although the buyer has not requested a refund yet, I fear she might escalate the issue. I am worried about potential repercussions as it seems like her word against mine despite my transparency from the beginning. I would appreciate any guidance. Thank you, Kim

Our checking account, which is also linked to our business, has been affected by errors, causing us further stress during these difficult times of having to close our business a second time due to Covid. The transition from PayPal to eBay has brought unexpected challenges, as we never intended to provide our account number directly to eBay. We now face the dilemma of funds being directed to our checking account instead of PayPal. This unexpected change is causing additional strain, and we are left with no choice but to consider closing the account if the issue persists. The impact of Covid on our lives is already significant, and eBay's actions without consent have only added to our worries.
