I have three items that were missold to me that I would like to resolve. The first item was from an online store for two scooters priced at $70.91, but I have not received them, and the store seems closed when I tried to contact them. The second item was an order for a car electric jack kit but I received a cheap watch instead from a company called Homerass Homer where I paid $37.87. Lastly, I ordered two toolboxes from EcR eBay but received two spanners. This behavior is fraudulent, and I am requesting a full refund via PayPal and for these companies' accounts to be closed to prevent them from cheating others in the future. Thank you. - Mr. S. Treeby

I ordered an item in January, but it arrived late. The seller agreed to refund me, so I re-ordered the item from another seller, and it arrived quickly. Now, the original seller is refusing to refund me unless I take down a negative review. He's also accusing me of being a fraud. The item is now at Sainsbury's for pick up, but I no longer need it as I already received it from a different seller on time. I'm waiting for two more items to arrive. If this issue isn't resolved, I will likely close my account. I just want my money back.

I believe I've been unfairly targeted for listing Hempseed oil, a legal item I purchased on eBay. Despite the oil having no THC content and being available in various pharmacies and stores, my listing was suspended without warning. Meanwhile, other listings with CBD-containing products remain active, sending mixed signals to sellers. The inconsistency in eBay's enforcement is concerning; instead of requesting removal politely, sellers like me face immediate suspensions. I reported multiple CBD products, providing their item numbers, yet they are still listed. This unequal treatment is evident by similar items to mine still being available for sale. eBay's handling of Hemp Oil listings needs review to align with UK laws. Either allow all Hemp Oil sales or enforce the prohibition uniformly, not selectively targeting sellers like myself.

The seller advertised a genuine Pandora bracelet with tags and a bag, but upon receiving it, I realized it's a fake. The bracelet is tiny and not silver, the clasp doesn't work, and there were no tags or bag as promised. Despite contacting the seller, they refused a return. I filed a complaint with eBay, but it was closed the same day without investigation. I'm seeking a full refund of £36.97 and want to return the fake bracelet. This seller is committing fraud by selling counterfeit items, and I'm willing to send the bracelet to eBay for examination to prevent others from being scammed.

I returned the item and provided the seller with a proof of postage receipt. Despite numerous emails exchanged due to the seller originally sending the wrong boots, I am currently facing challenges in obtaining the refund I am owed. I incurred the return shipping cost even though the incorrect items were sent. The seller recently claimed to not have received the boots. In response, I shared the correct return address with him (not the one on the parcel) provided by eBay over the phone. Following their advice, I returned the item to the recommended address on February 4th, incurring a cost of £3.20.

I placed a bid on item [redacted]66, and received an offer for £7.99 the next day on item [redacted]40. I accepted the offer and bought the item, which has arrived damaged. The concern is how the second seller got my contact details. I haven't contacted this seller, and my information was not passed by the original seller. The offer came through eBay messages, and I worry about my account's security. I don't stay logged into PayPal. I now have this unintended item to deal with and still need to honor my bid on the first item. Any advice regarding how the second seller obtained my information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I've recently started a new home business named Premium Direct Supplies at [redacted] I encountered an issue while listing items on eBay as my account was permanently suspended. I am uncertain about the reason for this action and would appreciate feedback to rectify the mistake promptly. I value the opportunity to sell on such a reputable platform and aim to diversify my offerings from homemade jewelry, keyrings, and watch straps to ear plugs and stylus pens for iPads. I am eager to adhere to all policies to have my account reinstated. Thank you for your assistance and understanding. Best regards

I purchased a 30W LED Rechargeable Cordless Work Site Flood Light from Harrypotterhub for £16.99 on Feb 8. The Order number is 25-06[redacted]6 and the Return ID is [redacted]. Unfortunately, the light does not charge up, rendering it unusable. I returned the item via Royal Mail using a label printed from eBay with the seller's address on it. The item reached the seller on Feb 11 and was resent on Feb 12, but today, Feb 17, I received it back from Royal Mail stating the address premises were vacant. I have tried to contact the seller through email, but I received an auto-response stating they were out of the office, which happened before on Feb 11 when I first reported the issue. The Royal Mail Tracking number is GB ZR[redacted]24. It seems the seller has not updated their address on eBay, causing the returned item. I would appreciate assistance in resolving this issue and receiving a refund. Thank you. - Terence Harrison (eBay ID: aesychalus)

I purchased a dress listed as a size 20, paying over £23 for it. However, upon receiving it last Saturday, I discovered it was only a size 10/12. I promptly reached out to the seller for a refund, but they denied my request, citing that the measurements were listed in centimeters in the fine print of the description, even though the headline stated size 20. At 62 years old, I am more comfortable with inches than centimeters. Despite my efforts, my complaint on eBay was closed, leaving me unable to contact them. I acknowledge that I should have been more attentive to the fine print, but I still feel the outcome is unjust.

Hi, I need to report a dishonest buyer who purchased a laptop from me. Initially, the buyer falsely claimed the sound did not work when it did. Upon receiving the laptop back, I noticed various missing components like the "a" key, incomplete mounting pins, loose CD-ROM pocket, and no charger. Despite my explanations, the buyer accused me of harassment and demanded I buy a new charger. Their responses have been confrontational. I have documented the entire conversation. I have contacted eBay multiple times regarding this issue but have not received a response. Without the charger, the laptop is useless, causing financial and moral damage. I seek assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you, Marcin

Hello, I am seeking assistance with a seller. I recently received a quick delivery of an item I purchased from them, which I am very satisfied with. I am interested in ordering another item but have not received a response to my inquiry from the seller, Pavally Accessories. When attempting to add items to my basket, I encounter an error message stating, 'Has not been added to your basket,' despite my attempts with different products. I am uncertain if the seller has blocked me and am puzzled as to why, as I simply posed a polite question. I appreciate any insight you can provide on this matter.

I have encountered an issue with seller Sebastia8285 regarding a refund for two items I purchased. Both items arrived in one package, but eBay provided two separate return labels. I asked the seller if it was acceptable to send both items in the same package, to which they agreed. The seller has received both items but only refunded me for one. I closed the remaining label after it was no longer needed, and now the seller is claiming that I closed the return, using it as an excuse to withhold the refund for the second item. I believe the seller is acting dishonestly by refusing to refund me for the second item. I discussed this matter with an eBay representative last week, and I was assured that I should not be responsible for the return cost. However, I have been charged £3.25. I would appreciate assistance in resolving this issue, as I am frustrated with the unsatisfactory responses from this seller. Thank you, Alan.

My account has been restricted, even though I am a [redacted]% feedback seller with no issues. However, I am linked to my son, who had past problems. Despite his account being closed, we are struggling to resolve these issues. I want to clear this up without causing more anxiety for my son, who suffers from mental health issues. I just want my account restrictions lifted and guidance on how to resolve the situation, whether it involves payment to eBay or another party. I feel unfairly treated and like I'm being punished unjustly.

Hello, A week ago, I purchased a secondhand Nike t-shirt from a seller for £13.85. Upon receiving it, I discovered a hole in the front and significant sweat stains, making it unwearable. The seller falsely described it as in good condition. I initiated a return request hoping for a refund. The seller offered £6 for me to keep the item, which I declined due to dissatisfaction and potential financial loss. Despite this, my return request was closed without my consent. I am a frequent eBay shopper and wonder about my customer rights. It is unfair for sellers to demand payment without resolution in case of flawed products and to close return requests unilaterally. I hope for a respectful resolution and a refund for this disappointing purchase. Regards, M.S.

Ebay's decision to halt the sale of a key ring featuring the vaccination message using the official logo, meant to support NHS charities, has caused frustration. As a former police officer, Terry suggests reporting sellers of fake items rather than implementing a blanket ban. Dissatisfied with eBay's customer support, Terry questions the absence of email assistance and highlights difficulties in reaching them by phone. Expressing disappointment at the limitations for less tech-savvy customers, especially in comparison to dealing with social media platforms, Terry, a 70-year-old ex-armed forces and retired police officer, feels hindered in supporting NHS fundraising efforts, unlike other sellers profiting from NHS logo use without charitable contributions.

Hello, as a UK national currently in the Far East due to Covid-19, I encountered an issue with my eBay accounts. After starting a new account for my business, it was abruptly blocked without a clear explanation despite reaching out to eBay. I then tried to use my old account from [redacted], only to have it blocked after setting up a shop and listing items. I am now concerned about receiving payment for a product I sold as PayPal has not released the funds. I suspect my location might be causing the problem, although I have taken steps such as two-step authentication. Unfortunately, I am unable to find a way to communicate this issue to eBay. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

On January 20, [redacted], I made a purchase and payment for a fire on eBay from a seller named Digital Flames. I scheduled February 23rd off work to receive the fire which did not arrive. After contacting the seller, I was informed of a delay due to customs holding the item in a container. Expressing my inability to wait longer, I requested a refund of £[redacted]. The seller agreed and asked me to request a refund through eBay. Despite his assurance of processing the refund, he later instructed me to open a missing item case. Emphasizing my cancelation and refund request, the seller claimed to have issued the refund. When confronted about not receiving it, he demanded I refrain from leaving negative feedback in exchange for the refund. Threats and abusive communication followed when I insisted on the refund only. This distressing situation, with evidence available on my eBay account, has prompted me to seek assistance in obtaining the refund and preventing further unwanted contact from the seller.

I am unable to find a working phone number to contact you. There used to be a link that said "call me," but it seems to be missing now. eBay customers sometimes need to speak with you, so having a call-back option would be beneficial. My account got suspended due to multiple login attempts. I was trying to log in from my two mobile phones, but only one is allowed, replacing any previous numbers. I have two emails registered with eBay, but I use one more frequently. When attempting to log in from my mobiles for the first time, I followed the steps but couldn't access my account. I used the chat feature, which I suspect was automated as the chat ended abruptly, sending me a transcript. I request my eBay account to be reinstated as I have a good track record as a customer. All my payments are current, and the explanation given for the suspension was inaccurate. Kindly allow me to access my account to continue using eBay without any issues.

Hello, I am experiencing two issues with my order number 11-06[redacted]9. Firstly, I purchased a Toyota Hilux Tamiya electric RC car from the seller alletatjapan for £[redacted].61 with free shipping. However, my bank statement shows a charge of £[redacted].50, a difference of £19.28 that requires immediate attention. Secondly, on 27.2.21, I received a letter from FedEx stating that I owe £65.01 for tax and duty on the item, including an advancement fee of £12.00 and Original VAT of £53.01. The seller did not mention these charges on their site, which goes against the guidelines mentioned in the customer services regarding tax and duties for international buyers. I look forward to a prompt resolution and your response. Thank you, C. Jarvis

Hello, I'm an international student and recently created an eBay account using the email '[redacted]' to sell a painting. I provided my direct debit information on the eBay UK site. Unfortunately, funds were deducted from my account without my consent on two separate occasions. I urgently needed the money from selling the painting, but instead, I lost the little I had in my account. Could you please explain why these deductions were made and issue a refund promptly? I am willing to accept an account suspension if necessary, but I need my money returned as soon as possible. Thanks, A.
