For the two years since my husband and I got new Galaxy S* phones after the S* came out, we have gone to the Zagg brand booth in the Clackamas Town Center mall in Clackamas Oregon. I specifically bought a package where the person at the booth would install the new glass Shieldfor $*, which was raised to $* last time I needed a replacement. We went last night because both of our glasses have cracked again under normal use. The person at the booth whom I had never seen before, said he would sell me one that he had left for $** but I told him I had the lifetime warranty and my phone number of ***-***-****, home phone, or my cell phone, ***-***-****, was in the system for discount installation. He then said that the one he had left was for sale only and he was not authorized to replace my glass. Over the years that I have been using that specific Zagg Booth, I have never heard so many excuses. I asked the gentleman if he would get more in stock that I could get replaced and he said he could not, any longer, order the glass for Galaxy S* because fewer and fewer people were using that phone. He also said he was not authorized to order supplies. I felt I was getting every excuse in the book for him to not replace my glass, even though it has a lifetime warranty. My husband had tried that location twice in the previous week, and was told, both times, that they had just sold the last glass for Galaxy S* a few minutes ago and to try again later. The gentleman I spoke to last night, December *nd, at approximately * p.m., said the same thing also, that he had just replaced an S* and it was the last glass he had. He then gave me a card and told me to call the number on the card. There was no number on the card at all. It just talked about the glass warranty and product line. I have found both of the cases for my husband's and my glass original purchase which was at Best Buy a little under * years ago. ** payments under our Verizon billing and we have *-* payments left. I have them registered but it has been a long time since I have had to use that. If you could please contact me at either of the telephone numbers I have supplied, I would be greatly appreciative. How GetHuman-sandanie fixed the problem
I called Zagg and they sent two replacement shields for our S* phones. We had them installed at Clackamas Town Center, the same booth where we had difficulty. It was a much better experience since Zagg had already spoken with the person at the booth. Installs are $** for the glass. We returned the Zaggs that were damaged in the postage paid envelopes, attaching the adhesive labels as indicated to the envelopes, which is necessary to complete the warranty process. Thank you, Zagg!!
