I am experiencing difficulty signing into my account. A long time ago, my sister's email was set up as the recovery email. Unfortunately, we are no longer in contact. She has taken control of my account, changed the password, and is sending malicious emails. Could you assist me in regaining access to my account or deactivate it altogether? Please refrain from sending any information to the recovery email [redacted], as she is the individual who is compromising my account's security by changing the password. Thank you.

On 2/15 at 12:58 pm, an email was sent to my wife's account, [redacted], claiming to be from AT&T Yahoo stating that a request had been made to delete the account and it would be processed within 3 working days. The email included a link to cancel the request that led to jhefwsh.weebly.com requesting login details. I refrained from providing any information. I am unsure if this email was genuine from Yahoo regarding a mistaken account deletion request or if it was a phishing attempt for personal information. I want to ensure the security of my Yahoo account, so I am seeking clarification on the validity of this email. Thank you, Nick Kolozsi

I have been using [redacted] & .com for years, but I am unable to transfer the email to my new tablet as I no longer have access to the phone number associated with it. My old tablet is failing, and I fear I will soon lose access. Despite calling 1 [redacted] twice to update my number, the issue remains unresolved. My new phone number is now 1 [redacted], but it does not accept text messages, making it challenging to verify. Living in a remote area with poor cell reception complicates matters further. I urgently need assistance with this matter. My email is [redacted], and it is crucial for me to regain access on my new device. Thank you immensely for your help.

I have managed to regain access to my email after 12 years, as I need it to recover some older social media accounts containing precious memories of departed family members and a dear friend. However, the verification process requires me to receive a code on old phone numbers or an outdated aol.com email that I no longer have access to. I am willing to provide additional personal information to prove my identity, but I am struggling to proceed past the login stage despite knowing my password. It is crucial for me to access this email account promptly.

I have been attempting to access my Yahoo account for the past two weeks with no success. Despite knowing my password, the system prompts me to verify an old phone number that I no longer have access to. When I try to use a different method, I am led to an error screen instructing me to try again in 24 hours. I have attempted to engage with customer service through the chat feature, but they require a $4.99 charge for assistance, which I find frustrating. I am simply looking for a way to input my password and regain access to my account. Due to a recent house fire, I am unable to call customer service as I have no phone available. I am desperate for a resolution as my Yahoo account is crucial for my business, and being locked out is hindering my ability to generate income. Currently facing homelessness with five children and no local support network, I implore anyone who can help to assist me. Thank you. Sincerely, T. Reid

I have been using Yahoo since [redacted], and I would like to discuss the length of the commercials. I understand the need for ads to support the content, but I find 10-minute and 29-second ads excessive. While I can tolerate 15-second and 30-second breaks, the longer ads are frustrating. It seems that Yahoo is pushing users towards the subscription service, but I am hesitant to switch. I believe Yahoo should address user concerns about excessive ads. It is unfortunate that there is no listed phone number for feedback. I hope Yahoo can improve the viewing experience for all users, as many may share my sentiments. Perhaps, if I find another service as good as Yahoo, I might consider switching.

Dear Support Team, I have been struggling with an issue for over three months now, unable to find a resolution despite numerous attempts with the customer service representatives in India. This ongoing problem is causing non-payment notices for domains I can't access to pay. I feel like I'm stuck in a never-ending loop of confirming my identity without any progress towards a solution. I believe only someone within the vast Yahoo ecosystem like you can assist me, but there seems to be no direct contact number available. As my business is suffering, I implore you to spare some time to help me escape this frustrating situation. Your attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Scott D H. I am disappointed with the level of customer service provided by Yahoo, a company of its size should prioritize customer satisfaction. It's frustrating that they expect customers to troubleshoot on their own and then share the solutions. My issue of not being able to access all three email accounts from my Yahoo account, despite Yahoo confirming the addition of both Google accounts, remains unresolved. This is not only a waste of time but also a major inconvenience. I'm considering switching to Google, where I trust this problem would be resolved more efficiently. Transitioning from Yahoo to another email provider will be challenging due to the long history and widespread use of my Yahoo account. I am very displeased with this situation.

I received a call from Yahoo regarding complaints about emails being sent from my account without my knowledge. I have had my Yahoo account for years, but I have not been active online and have accumulated [redacted],[redacted] unread emails. My laptop is broken, so I am using a Kindle temporarily and can only delete emails ten at a time, which is time-consuming. I want to address this issue as I am not the one sending these emails. I am 62 years old, not very knowledgeable about computers, and mostly use my iPhone and Kindle. Please contact me at [redacted] to discuss this further. I have important items saved in my account that I may need access to. Thank you. Email: [redacted]

I have lost access to my Yahoo email account [redacted] I do not have access to the recovery phone number or email listed due to similar issues with the recovery email. Despite my attempts for over three years, I can't regain access. I changed my phone number after being honorably discharged from the Navy, where I served for 5 years, and Yahoo claims I'm not the verified owner. This is frustrating as I've owned this account for over 15 years since I was 10. It's been a long process trying to recover my account.

I had a frustrating experience with Yahoo Mail that I need to share. A few days ago, the app logged me out of my two accounts and wouldn't let me log back in. Despite knowing my logins and passwords, I couldn't regain access. After numerous unhelpful email exchanges with Yahoo support demanding obscure information from when I created the account, I turned to their paid tech service for help. However, they couldn't assist me because my account is Canadian, not American. The technician abruptly ended the call, leaving me without access to critical emails. Yahoo's lack of support and poor treatment of users is unacceptable. I advise everyone to avoid using Yahoo Mail due to their inadequate customer service. Hopefully, sharing my story will prompt Yahoo to address these issues and help me resolve my email access problem.

Hello, I encountered a concerning issue where my long-standing Yahoo email account, [redacted], which I've had for nearly two decades, was hacked and subsequently deleted during my trip to India. It seems that the hackers managed to plant malware on my phone, allowing them to intercept text messages and conduct a password reset to access my account. Furthermore, they were able to transfer $[redacted] from one of my financial accounts. The first hacking incident occurred on February 27th, which I managed to recover on the following day, February 28th. The second breach took place on March 2nd, and I regained access on the same day. Unfortunately, a third incident occurred today, March 4th. I have included my contact information, although my current number, +1 [redacted], has been compromised. I would appreciate any assistance in recovering my Yahoo account as it contains crucial data and access to my other accounts. I have already initiated an incident report with Yahoo under reference [redacted]9, but I have not received any updates or responses for the past three days. For the time being, you can reach me at my alternate number, +91 [redacted].

When I was younger, I created a Yahoo account that I used for years before moving on to other accounts. Now, after more than a decade, I'm trying to access that old account but I can't seem to remember the password. Back then, there was no authentication process, only resets through email. Currently, my accounts are all secure except for this old one. I've tried online procedures but have been unsuccessful, and contacting Yahoo for professional support seems impossible. So, I'm here to share my issue in the hopes of solving my forgotten password problem.

Dear Support Team, I am facing an issue with my email account. After not accessing it for a long period, I logged in two days ago only to find that all my old emails have been deleted. I have had this email address for 20 years, and it doesn't seem fair to lose all my important emails this way. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide in helping me recover my old emails. Thank you for your time and efforts. Best regards, Ali H.

Having trouble accessing my Yahoo account. When I try to log in, I get a prompt asking me to verify a phone number I no longer have access to. Later on, when I try to recover my account, I am informed I have exhausted my daily recovery attempts. Seems like I messed up on my recovery options. Are there any other possible solutions for me to regain access to my account?

Suspicious Email Received: Dear forum members, I recently received an email that seems like a phishing attempt. The email claims to be from Yahoo, stating that my account security requires immediate action and asks me to click on a link to update to the latest version of Yahoo service. Sender: Yahoo Member <[redacted]> Content: The email urges me to update my account to the latest version of Yahoo service to protect it from viruses and malware. It threatens account suspension within 48 hours if I fail to comply. Thank you for your guidance on how to handle such emails. Best regards, A.

After switching from a Dell to a Lenovo computer and upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10, transitioning to W10 Outlook was challenging. Setting up my Yahoo account on W10 Outlook caused me to lose access when I switched from MS Edge to Google browser. This led to me being locked out of my important email address, [redacted], affecting my contacts, apps, and subscriptions. When I try to log in, my wife's Yahoo address, [redacted], appears instead of mine. Despite my efforts with various passwords, I can't regain access. Please assist me in recovering my account, as I'm currently informing everyone to use a non-Yahoo email. I can be reached at [redacted]. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Dr. William J. Letzkus.
