I have noticed a concerning trend in my email delivery over the past two days. After reaching out to Geek Squad, I was advised to obtain a reset password code from Yahoo by dialing 1-[redacted]. Upon calling this number, I connected with a person claiming to be a Yahoo customer service representative. They mentioned suspicious foreign and domestic IP addresses accessing my computer and suggested paying $[redacted] to resolve the issue through two specific companies. This interaction raised red flags, and I began to doubt their legitimacy. Despite insisting that I waited, the individual persisted before I decided to end the call. Following up, they called again, but I stood my ground and declined their services. To ensure the security of my email account, I seek reassurance and verification that it is not compromised.

I received an email from [redacted] stating that my Yahoo account will be closed in 24 hours unless I verify it by clicking on a link provided. The email claims to be from the "Account team" and urges me to click on a link to prevent the shutdown of my account. I am unsure if this email is from Yahoo or not, and I am hesitant to click on any random links.

I am experiencing an issue when sending emails where old email addresses pop up in the "To" field. These addresses are not the same as the ones listed in the contact list on the right side of the page labeled "All". I would like the email addresses to appear in alphabetical order by last name when selecting recipients from the "To" box.

Hello, I had a Facebook profile for nearly 10 years linked to an old Yahoo email account for which I no longer have the password. I am trying to access my yahoo.com email at [redacted], but I am unable to do so. Over time, Univision removed the option to have an email account, and I lost access to my att.net email because I no longer have a home phone. My only option now is to reach out to you. They are asking for an alternate phone number, which I no longer have, which was [redacted]. I tried contacting the new owner of that number to see if they could help by receiving the code, but they declined. It is important for me to recover this account as my other emails depend on it. I am a member of the Lewis and Clark SSBN644 Yahoo group and want to address the issue of unwanted emails originating from an outside source. These unsolicited messages have been a problem due to a technical issue within Yahoo. My suggestion is for Yahoo to implement a feature where all messages are pending approval by the owner and moderator of the group. If a message is not approved within 14 days, it should be automatically deleted to prevent spam. I am willing to handle issues related to members with invalid email addresses or bouncing emails. For a few months now, I have been experiencing difficulties logging into my Yahoo account. Each time I attempt to log in, I receive the message: "Enter a verification code that we sent to [redacted]." However, the email account where the verification code is being sent is no longer valid. I seem to have lost my December email from my longstanding Yahoo account. Recently, I purchased a new iPad Pro and had to reset my password due to this. Also, I obtained the new Apple credit card to benefit from a discount. I'm concerned if these changes are related to my missing emails. Additionally, I have noticed an increase in advertisements prompting me to purchase Yahoo Pro for an ad-free experience. If this persists, I may consider switching to Proton or Google mail. I have had a Yahoo email account since [redacted]. Unfortunately, around [redacted], I lost one of my computers, resulting in the loss of all my data and compromising my account.
