Help with my Yahoo issue
GetHuman996397's next move: find and follow the right step-by-step guide.
Yahoo doesn't have a customer phone number that is answered by an agent. Instead, GetHuman996397 will need to dig through the advice provided by Yahoo, other customers and consumer advocacy websites like GetHuman. Here are some instructions we've written for similar issues- hopefully GetHuman996397 can let us know if they help or not.

If you're having issues with a password, try resetting it using your email address (be sure to use the correct spelling). Click "Forgot Password" under the login, then follow the prompt. You should have the option to reset with your phone number.
The issue in GetHuman996397's own words
read my email ... Dear Yahoo top Executive,* When I am out of the country and log-on to Yahoo,, I get a web page in a foreign language that I can't read, and no options how to change it. Hence, I can't access my e-mail either. *Facts:**. Every computer (or smartphone * tablet as of late), requires of its owner to set, upon first use, the preferred language, currency, date-format etc. In **,****% of the time, those settings determine several TRUE facts about the user.**. More than **,***,*** people are outside their home country at any one time, for business, or employment or just traveling. The vast majority of those, use computers and*or smartphones. *All these people are out of luck if they try to use the web while abroad.... *In conclusion. It is stupid to use IP location to determine nationality and currency of the user. Use, if at all possible, the computer settings. *PS. US citizens are not required to comply with local (e.g. European) personal data regulations. IP location ignores this fact.
"IP location" as a determinant of user's preferences and nationality, is downright stupid, no matter how "smart" the person who conceived it thinks it is. Apparently he or she has never left the country, let alone used a computer while abroad. The number of people being affected runs in the millions. The aggravation IP location creates, "kills" marketing.... (People simply cannot buy if they can't read what is being presented).
Don't force people to accept regulations that don't apply to them. This can be legally disastrous. It implied "submission to jurisdiction". (Let you legal department condider this one...).
Because I try to fix any "wrongs", especially if they affect many people.
Yes, there is no options available. Only alternatives are to either close the browser and forget it, or possibly find a local who can read "Chinese" or "Swahili", to guide you out of the unreadable page, assuming there is a way to do so, shown in there.
I have an issue with Yahoo too
