I purchased an Xbox Live card, redeemed it, and received a message confirming it worked. However, the games are not linked to it despite my Xbox indicating the card was successful. I've attempted online methods suggesting cancellation, logging out, and back in without success. Now, when attempting to redeem the code, it states it has already been used. I paid nearly $30 for this and am unable to play online. How can I obtain a refund or a replacement code?

Hello, I own an Xbox [redacted] and I'm experiencing issues with the sensor. Recently, after an update message, my games disappeared, and now the Kinect sensor isn't functioning properly. The sensor light no longer scans like it used to, and the black and white screen on the side is gone. My avatars have turned into white figures resembling new avatars. I've only been able to play controller-disc games. It's been six years since I last used the Kinect games, and I'm concerned about fixing the sensor. I received this console as a gift from my uncle, and I would appreciate any guidance on how to repair the sensor and restore my avatars to their original state. Thank you.

I am frustrated that I have had to re-type this message multiple times. This is the fourth charge from X Box, and I am growing weary of these deductions from my bank account. The email account linked to my X Box account has not been used in years. I previously had to have my bank block the X Box account after three unauthorized charges and get a new card. It is becoming a hassle to replace my card constantly, and I am unsure why these charges persist. Neither my mother nor I are familiar with X Box and do not use it. I urgently request that no further charges be made to my account. I am determined to cancel my X Box account permanently to prevent any future charges. As I have been unable to reach you by phone, I am hoping this message will suffice.

I recently bought a 3-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription as a gift for my daughter through the Microsoft Store. Despite receiving confirmation emails and messages indicating that the subscription was sent and received by her Xbox account, it was never applied. After contacting customer support via chat, I was informed that the code was redeemed on a different email account. Consequently, I was advised to request a refund and purchase a new subscription. However, I encountered issues submitting the refund request due to the code already being redeemed. I simply want a refund to buy a new subscription or provide my daughter with the funds to buy an Xbox card in-store. I am frustrated by the lack of resolution from customer support.

A few months back, I got the Xbox Game Pass for $1 on my main account Ninja Trace. Initially, I thought I canceled it after the promotional period as I didn't want to pay $20 monthly, being a student. However, I noticed charges of $19.03 per month since December 12th without finding the subscription on my account. I attributed this to my friends using the pass until I discovered it was on a secondary account I never use. Despite not using this account in December, it was charged through it. As a loyal customer for 12 years, this feels like a disservice. I hope for a refund as I have invested heavily in your products. The secondary account in question is TopazSoup882748. Thank you for your attention.

My best friend occasionally plays with my Xbox and has set my profile as the home console on his Xbox. However, I currently have no contact with him, and I would like my profile to be set back as the home console. Unfortunately, it says I have no more switches available, so I can't play my games offline, which is disappointing. I would like your assistance in resolving this issue so I can play my games without an internet connection, as I keep getting logged out in the middle of games. My account has been around for a long time, and I would appreciate your help. My gamertag is DarSeid69115. I have all my other details, including my account linked to my phone number. I kindly ask for your help in restoring my home console even if I have no more switches available because otherwise, I won't have access to my games. Thank you.

Since late February, I have been experiencing connection issues with Call of Duty's online services. I have spent around 20 hours trying to troubleshoot by following all the tips provided on Activision's website, such as rebooting, port forwarding, and setting a static IP address. After contacting Activision's customer support, they informed me the issue was elevated to a priority status on April 2nd. Despite following up twice, there have been no updates on the situation. I have only requested one refund on Xbox Live in the past due to an accidental purchase years ago. I feel frustrated as I have invested over $[redacted] in this game, including in-game purchases, yet I am unable to access it currently. While considering disputing the charge with my credit card company, I am concerned about the potential repercussions on my 10+ year-old gamertag. Order Number: [redacted] Although the purchase was made outside the 14-day refund window, I am hopeful for a resolution as the situation has left me without access to the game.

I have been attempting to cancel my Xbox Live subscription for over a year. Recently, my credit card details changed, and I did not update them on Xbox Live as I no longer wish to continue this service. Despite this, I discovered that Xbox Live charged my credit card twice in April, on the 4th and 25th, totaling $10.59 each time. I have tried multiple methods to cancel, but have not had any success in reaching a live person for the past 14 months. I am unable to access the account as I don't remember the password. I urgently need this matter resolved. I request a live representative to contact me within the next 24 hours; otherwise, I will escalate this further. I find these repeated charges unacceptable and demand an immediate resolution.

Since April 7, I've invested $[redacted].71 in purchasing COD points for Modern Warfare Warzone. Regrettably, there has been a persistent issue known as Memory Error 13-71 hindering game access. Despite my attempts, Activision has disregarded the existence of this error and failed to address it, leaving me unable to enjoy the game. Due to this ongoing problem, I am requesting a refund of $[redacted].71 as I firmly believe that such a significant investment should ensure uninterrupted gameplay. Meanwhile, Activision has not officially acknowledged this error outside of their support forums and Reddit discussions. While there was a temporary workaround, the recent update on April 28 has eliminated that option. This situation has left me incredibly frustrated, and I am seeking guidance on resolving this matter or obtaining a reimbursement for the unplayable game.

I rented the movie 1BR on Xbox One via Fandango Now, but encountered a connection error when trying to watch it. After restarting the Xbox, the movie prompted me to purchase it again, even though the payment had gone through. Despite contacting Fandango Now and being redirected to Microsoft for the purchase, I faced challenges reaching Xbox support due to their closure. This back-and-forth has left me frustrated. I urgently require either access to the movie on Fandango Now or a refund, given that I have already paid for it. Your prompt assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I've encountered an issue with my grandson's account. It seems to have been hacked, leading to the removal of my phone number, password change, and the implementation of two-factor authentication. Consequently, I am unable to access the account, causing my grandson to be unable to play his games. The MS helplines I've tried only guide me through loops of logging in or sending security codes to a phone number that no longer belongs to me.

Hello, I hope someone can help with my issue. Recently, my Xbox has been disconnecting from the internet every 30 seconds, which is very frustrating. I tried fixing it by buying a $95 router extender, moving the router next to the Xbox, and using an ethernet cable, but the problem persists. Additionally, I can't talk to friends in parties without constant disconnections. Even with the ethernet connection, my console crashes and signs me out when it loses internet. Please assist me with this troublesome situation.

I received a communication ban for using a non-offensive phrase in Norwegian, which the recipient didn't understand. I think this is unjust xenophobia towards other languages on Xbox Live. The person reporting me should also face consequences. The phrase I used was "pappa jeg tørster etter peanutter" which means "Dad I thirst for peanut butter." It was harmless, but the recipient misreported it to get me banned. This shows a biased behavior favoring English speakers. If my complaint isn't addressed, I may have to publicize Microsoft's unfair treatment regarding language diversity on the platform.

I received Call of Duty Modern Warfare as a gift. After redeeming the code, downloading, and installing the game, I enjoyed playing it initially. However, after a couple of days, I encountered an issue where it indicates that Data Pack 1 is installed in the Xbox store, but I am unable to access any mode other than Warzone in the game. Even though I can see the campaign packs, multiplayer packs, and special ops packs with checks next to them in the game installs section, Data Pack 1 refuses to be checked, despite my repeated attempts to install it. I was advised to uninstall and reinstall the game, but the problem persists. I am now stuck and unsure how to proceed as the game is unplayable without Data Pack 1.

Recently, my Xbox account was compromised, leading to unauthorized access to my debit card details. The perpetrator changed my password, blocking me from my account. Promptly, I took measures by contacting my bank for fraud reporting and obtaining a new debit card. Despite this, I am eager to reclaim my account due to the saved data and purchased games. My Xbox username is Alemonator11, and the associated email address is [redacted] I completed the necessary forms, provided details such as the last four digits of my old card, and answered security questions to aid in account recovery. I am hoping for swift assistance in resolving this matter.

My stepson, O.M., received an Xbox in 2[redacted]. I unknowingly set up a recurring payment for a yearly subscription. After my marriage in [redacted], separation in [redacted], and divorce in [redacted], I have been living abroad for the past 5 years. Annually, I still receive charges for this Xbox subscription on my account, even after my debit card expired. Despite attempts with my bank, I can't cancel it without the account details, which my ex-wife and stepson don't have anymore. The account hasn't been active for years. I can't reach Xbox without the account info. It seems drastic to close my bank account just to stop the payments as it would disrupt many other transactions. There should be a way to trace the payments to access the account details and end this situation. The recent charge was £49.99, while it used to be £39.99. While not a huge amount, it adds up over a decade. This recurring charge feels unfair and like a form of fraud by Xbox, who should have safeguards against this.

Subject: Issue with Fortnite Purchases Dear Support Team, I am reaching out regarding my concern with my son's unauthorized in-game purchases on Fortnite. Due to our current financial situation, wherein my family has been furloughed, we recently discovered that over the past six weeks, he has spent approximately £[redacted] on the game without our knowledge or permission. This has resulted in unexpected financial strain for us during these challenging times. Though we have suspended their access to the game for now, I kindly request your assistance in refunding the charges incurred between 20th March [redacted] and 5th May [redacted]. We have been loyal customers and would greatly appreciate your understanding and support in resolving this matter promptly. I am eager to discuss this further with a representative to explore the available options. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Maria T.

I need help. My son, who is autistic, set up multiple recurring fees without my knowledge. As a single mother of four kids with a chronic illness, I cannot afford the large amounts of money being withdrawn daily. I removed my information, but the charges kept occurring for weeks. I am planning to cancel the card to stop this, but I am unsure how I can get the money refunded once the card is canceled. I spoke to someone before who explained how to remove my account information, but it didn't work. I desperately need this money returned as I am not currently working and receive no support from my children's father or anyone else. It's unfair for my other children to suffer because of their brother's actions. Kindly advise me on what steps I need to take. Thank you.

I recently redeemed a $25 gift card on my Xbox to purchase a 1-month Xbox Live subscription. However, while browsing the options, I accidentally selected a $1 offer that required additional steps. Frustrated, I ended up purchasing the Xbox Live Gold for $11 per month instead of the initial $1 option. Unfortunately, I only had $8 left in my account, as my mom financially supports me and was trying to make me happy. I would like a refund for the $25 gift card that my mom purchased for me.
