Each time someone falsely reports me, you restrict my Xbox Live communications, which I pay for. I demand a refund immediately. I recently renewed my Xbox Live subscription, and I've been banned multiple times without justification. It's unfair to ban users for simply calling out inappropriate behavior. This constant banning is unacceptable, especially when it's based on misuse of the report system. I'm frustrated with the service interruptions as well. I'm so dissatisfied that I'm considering selling my console on eBay. Refund my money; I won't be renewing my subscription or supporting Microsoft any longer.

I recently reached out to Xbox support via email regarding my Xbox Elite controller. I understand that it may need to be sent in for repairs or replacement, which would leave me without a controller for a period of time. This situation would be highly inconvenient as the original controller I received with the Xbox One X had a faulty left bumper shortly after purchase. Due to this, I invested in the Elite controller based on positive reviews about its performance and durability. Unfortunately, I am now encountering issues with the Elite controller. I am wondering if it's possible to have a replacement shipped to me before sending in the defective one. I am willing to provide a credit card for assurance of the return. I am eager to hear back from you given the excellent customer service I have experienced over the years.

Hello, I was informed by my godson about a promotion offering a one-month subscription for one dollar. However, to my surprise, I noticed the charge was 19.99, so we decided to cancel it. Subsequently, I received a message inquiring about an attempted purchase with Microsoft, to which I confirmed thinking it was related to the $1 promotion. Upon reviewing my bank account, I noticed multiple charges – seven 4.99 charges, one 1-dollar charge, one 19.99 charge, and one 1.49 charge. Although my godson's account only reflected the subscription charge, I deleted it. However, I encountered difficulties removing my card due to purported additional charges I couldn't identify. I request all ongoing subscriptions be cancelled, and a refund issued for the erroneous charges. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, N. McCray

Hello, I recently learned from my godson about a promotion offering a month for one dollar. However, when we attempted to sign up and noticed the price was actually $19.99, we decided to cancel. Subsequently, I received a notification regarding a purchase attempt with Microsoft, confirming it was related to our $1 subscription exploration. Upon checking my bank statement, I discovered multiple charges: seven at $4.99, one for $1, one for $19.99, and one for $1.49. Upon reviewing my godson's account, I identified only the subscription charge which I promptly deleted. Unfortunately, I encountered difficulties removing my card as there seemed to be additional undisclosed charges. I kindly request that all subscriptions be cancelled and a refund processed promptly. Thank you for addressing this situation. Nikeva M. [redacted]

I received a temporary ban due to inappropriate behavior/language directed at another player. Although I agree with the consequences, I believe the situation warrants further review. The player who reported me was harassing me in the game chat, using vulgar language and even suggesting harm. Despite muting them, the harassment continued through private messages with insults. Regrettably, I responded with a single curse word out of frustration. I am currently banned while the other player remains unaffected because the conversation was not reviewed, and no curses were detected in their messages. Given the circumstances, it would be appreciated if I could at least communicate with friends via Xbox party. My Xbox account/gamer tag is TwitchCruelToad, and the other player was identified as popplio. Your prompt attention to this matter is valued. Thank you.

My Xbox was damaged by my severely autistic brother in his excitement to play with a 2-day Gold trial I activated with the code: (W9HCR-2VWVV-BQYBF-FBVRX-GQ4R7). The console's tray is now broken, showing physical damage and giving me an open tray error. While I plan to repair the console locally, my main concern is the 2-day trial. With only a few hours of playtime used, I hope the code can be deactivated, and I can receive a new trial to enjoy multiplayer games. In a similar situation in June [redacted], Microsoft assisted me by canceling my Xbox Live subscription and providing a new code due to damage caused by my brother, who has developmental disabilities. Caring for him can be challenging. I kindly request help with this issue; my account email matches the one provided. Thank you for your prompt reply.

While browsing on Xbox, I came across an offer for the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for only 1 dollar. Thinking it would provide access to free games and include Xbox Live Gold, I purchased it with my dad. I wanted to play Minecraft, but upon opening it, I was disappointed by a poor discounted offer. After hearing negative feedback about Game Pass from my friends, I decided to cancel the subscription immediately for a refund. However, upon canceling it, I realized that my Xbox Live Gold subscription had been converted to Game Pass without my knowledge. This was frustrating as I lost four months of Gold. I just want my Gold subscription reinstated, as that's all I am looking to have resolved.

My Xbox account was recently banned by a user named ReZ Kiwii. This incident stems from a conversation a few days ago where ReZ Kiwii mentioned temporarily banning people by tracking their IP addresses. Others involved in the incident were Opp Andy, the puppet 11, Opp Burn, Opp Base, and a few more players. ReZ Kiwii has been disrespectful and verbally abusive. This behavior persisted when I was team killed by him while playing as Maestro in Rainbow Six. Despite reporting him multiple times, no action has been taken. I acknowledge my mistake in responding with a curse word, but his continuous provocation became too much. Can you please review and investigate this situation? My Xbox email is [redacted] Thank you for your attention.

Hi, my son recently purchased €10 on Xbox GTA. This has happened a few times where money disappears. He bought a car in the Legendary Motor Sport garage, but it said he's unavailable to drive the vehicle. His username is JoshandCharlie1. He's upset as he saves money for this game. Now, it shows he doesn't have available funds even though he added €10. Can you please look into resolving this issue? Thank you. - Jennifer

I am having trouble loading my Dark Souls game on Xbox One through backwards compatibility. Every time I try to load my saved data, the game either crashes, freezes, or displays an error message "For some reason Dark Souls has taken too long to start. (0x[redacted]a)." Bandai Namco support mentioned that the issue lies with the emulated game itself. My gamertag is QuirinusQuirell. I have been unable to play for 2 months, despite purchasing the game 4 months ago. If you are unable to assist, please direct me to where I can get further help. Thank you for your time. Best regards, Jess.

Yesterday, I purchased Game Pass Ultimate but decided to cancel it soon after due to concerns about merging subscriptions. Upon canceling, I found I no longer had Gold or Game Pass. My Gold subscription was active until September 4th or 6th, and I had recently renewed Game Pass for another 3 months on July 11th. To resolve this, I re-purchased Game Pass Ultimate hoping to reinstate my previous subscriptions, but they did not reappear, and now everything expires on 8/16/[redacted]. I would appreciate assistance in getting my old subscriptions to work again. If that's not possible, I request either the Game Pass subscription I already paid for or a few months of Xbox Live as my subscription was about to expire. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am experiencing ongoing issues with my console. Despite following basic troubleshooting steps, watching numerous videos, and having received two previous repairs for manufacturing faults, the problem persists. I am seeking a full refund for the console, which was quite expensive, around $[redacted]. I feel frustrated by the wasted time and money, including additional costs like Xbox Live over two weeks. I urge the company to address this recurring issue promptly, as I am dissatisfied with the situation repeating itself.

My Xbox has crashed, and I'm struggling to sign in with my email to recover my account on the system. Despite my internet working fine and my TV being used for Netflix without issue, when I try to add a new account, the sign-in screen flashes and returns, not allowing me to enter my information fully. This problem began when the system started logging me out during games, prompting multiple reconnect attempts. I've followed all troubleshooting steps for months to no avail. The last suggestion was to remove and re-add my account, which I did, resulting in error code 0x80a4001b. I work until 9 pm Eastern today, so I plan to address this further tomorrow. Thank you.

This is my third attempt to address an issue I've been experiencing with Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass. Both subscriptions are active, as confirmed. Just last week, everything was working perfectly. Whenever I attempt to download a game available on Game Pass, like Halo Wars, I encounter the same problem. The download process stops at "Calculating size" and then displays error code 0x87E00005, which is typically related to disc insertion issues, even though there is no disc in the console. In the download queue, a blank icon at 0% appears with the status "installing," which remains unchanged. I've tried various solutions: 1. Downloading games from both the Game Pass page and Microsoft Store on the console. 2. Performing a hard reset on the console. 3. Attempting to download a different game from Game Pass, resulting in the same issue. After my initial post, I received an email advising me to "contact a specialist." However, when I tried to open the file provided, it appeared as an SRF file that I couldn't access on my Mac.

Last Thursday, I purchased a Pet Sematary 2 movie bundle for $19.99 plus tax. I had $13 of Xbox credit intended for use in the transaction, with the remaining balance to be charged to my debit card. However, the full amount was charged to my debit card instead. I have contacted support five times regarding this issue, providing a reference number, but after 5 days, I still have not received any updates. Xbox informed me that my case had not been sent to the refund department, causing further delays. When it was finally sent, my refund request was denied as they could not use the Xbox credit and credit the difference to my debit card. I requested a full refund to repurchase the movie using the credit, but this was also denied. I was unable to speak to a person directly, being instructed to email my concerns instead. This situation has been frustrating and unresolved for a week now. I am seeking compensation for the time and energy spent on resolving this issue promptly.

Yesterday, on July 19th, while playing Dark Souls 3, I encountered a player with the gamer tag WarnoMah who displayed disrespectful behavior in the game. Following a purposeful disconnection after losing, the player messaged me derogatorily as "newbs." I attempted to engage in a conversation to address their behavior, suggesting that resorting to insulting others indicates shortcomings beyond gaming skills. Despite refraining from name-calling, I provided positive advice and empathy, only to be met with a report and subsequent suspension by Xbox. Disheartened by Xbox's decision, I believe the player, WarnoMah, was the initiator of the conflict and may habitually engage in such negativity with others. I am requesting a refund for my Xbox Gold membership as a stand against enabling such behavior. I intend to switch to Playstation and urge Xbox to handle bullying instances more effectively by considering all aspects before taking action. It is my hope that Xbox revisits its approach to dealing with online bullying, acknowledging the misuse of reporting systems by aggressors. The goal is for Xbox to promote a fair and supportive gaming environment in line with current standards in [redacted].

Hello, I wanted to share that I enjoy playing Minecraft with a friend on Xbox using the old Xbox One edition. I have been able to download the new version (the bedrock edition) for free because I have the old version. However, when my friend tries to do the same, he is being asked to pay around £30 for the bedrock edition instead of getting it for free like me. I am reaching out for help on his behalf as he is unable to do so himself. We both really want to play the newer version together. His gamertag is Sideswipe Mania. It would be great if this could be fixed so we can enjoy the game together. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Super Adam 92.

I'm frustrated with the lack of help from Xbox Live support. I've called numerous times, but I can't get a straight answer. I'm on the verge of canceling my subscription and products related to Xbox. I expect a prompt response or a call back from them. It's pointless to pay for a service I can't even use properly.

When my internet went down, I thought of playing an offline game but couldn't due to the lack of valid internet connection. Trying to watch a movie from physical media was also not possible because of the internet outage. I contacted the provided number which directed me to a link on my smartphone and then instructed to disconnect the call, offering no further assistance. Clicking on the link led me to the Xbox forums where help is available only from other Xbox Ambassadors, like myself, who, similar to me, have a long history with Xbox Live dating back sixteen plus years from being a second wave beta tester.
