The issue in GetHuman-mutamed's own words
Hi, *We are travelling from London to Amman on Jan **th ****. The first flight will be by WizzAir from London-Luton to Budapest (PNR: SGJ*QK), then, we'll continue our trip to Amman by another carrier (PNR: B*U*SN). *We don't have luggage to collect, just personal items in-cabin.*We don't have a valid Schengen visa, but we have a multi-entry UK Visa. I've just knew that we a are not allowed to make transit at Budapest unless our carrier agreed to send us to the transit area. This is the letter I've received from Budsapest airport:**----*Dear Mr. Khatib,*According to the Schengen regulations transiting from an extra Schengen starting point to another extra Schengen destination is possible without a visa with Palestinian passport. HOWEVER Budapest Airport does NOT allow discount airline passengers to go directly to the transit. Which means in normal case you have to enter Hungary (thus Schengen) to go up to the transit zone. In some special cases the airline helps to get into the transit. I recommend make contact with the airlines and ask for help from them. *If the airport won't let you straight into the transit the police will have no other choice than to refuse you back where you came from.*------*We would be very grateful if you could help us in this issue as we don't have time to make Schengen visa now.**Best regards*Dr. Mutamed Khatib*Dr. Nael Salman
