I have a Whirlpool double oven, Model WOD93EC7AB01, Serial D[redacted]3, that I used the self-cleaning setting on for the first time to prepare for holiday baking. The top oven went through the cycle fine, but the lower oven did not finish, with the door locked and the display panel blank. I checked that the breakers were not tripped. Since there is a class action lawsuit against Whirlpool for this issue, I wanted to reach out before contacting a repair company. I believe this oven should be repaired or replaced at no cost to me, considering the known defects and lack of disclosure when I purchased it in [redacted]. I hope Whirlpool addresses this promptly and responsibly for all affected customers.

I purchased a Whirlpool washer on August 5th, [redacted] from Fountain Appliance in Harrison, Arkansas. About three weeks later, the machine started making a loud noise during the final spin cycle. Initially, it only happened a few times, but as it persisted, I contacted customer service to schedule a repair appointment. After several weeks of waiting for parts and repairs, today, the latest part was installed, but the issue remains unresolved. Unfortunately, the repair team seems to be unable to identify the problem. I am currently handwashing my laundry due to this ongoing issue, as going to a laundromat is not an option for me during this time. The technician was unable to provide me with a timeframe for when I can expect further updates. I am unsure of what my next course of action should be in this situation.

I purchased a Whirlpool WRT511SZDM refrigerator back in July. It took two months for the delivery, and another two months for the ice maker to arrive. Currently, I'm waiting for a deli drawer slide part, specifically the W[redacted]9. I was assured this part was on the way a month ago, but the wrong part was sent. I have been on the phone for over 5 hours, with multiple holds and promises to connect me to someone who can assist, but the issue persists. I'm still trying to locate where my drawer slide is, and the waiting time and back-and-forth have been frustrating.

I am seeking advice on cleaning my electric Whirlpool oven. I attempted to use the online chat support, which directed me to JustAnswer for a fee. However, I do not wish to commit to a membership with them. Despite trying various cleaning methods, I am struggling to remove grease from the oven glass and address charred areas. I am also looking for a solution to the condensation between the glass panels. It has been frustrating and time-consuming to seek assistance through Just Answer. I wish there was a more accessible customer service line available for quick solutions. I value my time, and it has been disheartening not to receive the answers I need despite my efforts.

I have called this number twice today and once on Friday. I was on hold for over 45 minutes each time, and nobody would come to the phone. I have an upright deep freezer that has stopped working; it is still under warranty. Whirlpool has already sent someone out from Tri County Appliance Repair, but they can't fix it. We were told Whirlpool would get back in touch with us, but they have not. We have lost over $[redacted] worth of meat already, and we want something done about our freezer before the warranty expires. We want a new freezer or our money back. We have waited long enough for somebody to do something about this, and nobody has helped us as of yet. Please respond and let us know what needs to be done.

I have been experiencing an ongoing issue with the ice maker in my refrigerator. The ice keeps freezing together, melting, and then refreezing. Despite multiple visits from service representatives and replacing various parts, the problem persists since September. I am feeling very frustrated and upset that this has not been resolved. This refrigerator was bought at the end of July [redacted], and I believe it may need to be replaced. I am seeking a prompt and satisfactory solution to this matter. Thank you.

My dryer is not working properly. The light is on, but the dial does not respond at all. The dryer is plugged in, the bin light is on, but there is no sound and nothing is spinning. I have confirmed that no circuit breaker is flipped. The dryer has gas heat. I also have a gas hot water heater that is functioning without any issues. Please assist me in getting my dryer to work. Thank you very much.

I bought a refrigerator from Lowes on September 12, [redacted]. The model number is WRS325SDHW and the serial number is HRX[redacted]. The temperature was initially set to the factory-recommended 3-bar level, but we experienced issues with food spoiling. Despite increasing the temperature to the maximum 5 bars, we still had to discard 8-10 packages of meat due to warm temperatures in the refrigerator. It has never maintained a serviceable temperature. We require a service technician to inspect and potentially repair the refrigerator or honor the warranty by replacing it.

After the Whirlpool service technician examined my microwave, he determined it needed to be replaced. I contacted customer care again two days later inquiring about the replacement process. They informed me that the request was pending approval and assured me that someone would contact me within 48 hours. However, it has now been over two weeks, and I have yet to receive any updates or a timeline for the replacement of my microwave.

I purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher in July along with an extended warranty. I've been having issues with my dishes not getting cleaned properly, so I contacted the service department. The serviceman arrived quickly but seemed inexperienced as he struggled to get on the floor and didn't have a flashlight. With the help of my phone light, he briefly checked and left, claiming it was a mouse that ate the harness. I then hired two exterminators who both confirmed there were no rodents in my house, one even found an electric mouse toy under the dishwasher. They mentioned that mice can end up in appliances during transportation. Now, Whirlpool is asking me to pay for labor and parts claiming it's an act of god. This is unacceptable, especially after spending money on exterminators to confirm there are no rodents. As a senior from Long Island, I'm prepared to protest this unjust charge. I've sought help from various authorities and am willing to escalate this if necessary. Whirlpool needs to address this issue promptly. Thank you. - J.A.

Hello Whirlpool, In May of [redacted], we purchased a Whirlpool washer, dryer, dishwasher, and double unit refrigerator/freezer. Recently, we noticed that the seal on our dryer unit is frayed and not properly sealing. My husband mentioned that clothes are rubbing against it due to the seal issue. Additionally, the paint on the back wall of the drum is fading or coming off. I contacted Customer Service today and was informed that the dryer is not under warranty. They suggested having a technician verify the issues, which would incur costs. The representative also mentioned using cover-up paint for the inside of the dryer, which my husband found unacceptable. When I asked about getting a new dryer, I was told it wasn't possible. Since we expected these Whirlpool appliances to be trouble-free for at least five years, we are requesting that Whirlpool cover the cost of the technician visit and any necessary parts. We chose Whirlpool for its reputation and hope for a positive resolution. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Best regards, Laura S.

I had a new dishwasher installed in March [redacted], and it stopped working in September. The repairman came two months later but installed the wrong part, then returned six weeks after to put in the correct motor, breaking the bottom bracket in the process without mentioning it. When I contacted Fred's multiple times about the broken bracket, they suddenly claimed we were exposed to Covid-19 and needed to quarantine. When asking about the delay in fixing the motor, they were dismissive, insisting the part was new and still being manufactured. I am frustrated that my expensive dishwasher has been faulty and is now broken again. After finally receiving the parts for the broken bracket, which the repairman left us with, I am thoroughly dissatisfied with both the warranty repair service and Maytag. I only chose Maytag because I was pleased with my clothes washer from a year ago. I feel let down and request a replacement for my 10-month-old dishwasher that has only functioned properly for half of its life so far.

I had my dishwasher model #WDT720PAD1 repaired in early October because the drain pump needed replacement. The issue was caused by the bottom wheels falling on the heat element, leading to melting and plastic fragments getting stuck inside. Even after the repair, the dishwasher continues to display error code E2F2. The repair company advised either replacing the control board or the interface, suggesting the need for a process of elimination. The dishwasher seems to work intermittently after being unplugged for long periods. After researching online, I found out that after replacing the drain pump, a reset process should have been performed. Despite paying for a second service call to ensure everything was secure, the company found no issues when they checked it. They recommended replacing the dishwasher. I am frustrated to have spent $[redacted] on repairs since October and am seeking advice on whether to persevere with fixing it or follow their suggestion to replace the unit. Your input is greatly appreciated as the dishwasher is not very old, and replacing it seems excessive. Thank you. Sunday

I bought the Whirlpool refrigerator model WRB322OMBN from Lowe’s in Dalton, GA on 12/14/[redacted]. It was delivered on 12/22/[redacted]. During delivery, the handle was switched from left to right opening, but the delivery team didn't have the gray plastic "screw ins" to fill the old holes on the front door. I visited the store on 1/24/21, and the manager suggested contacting Whirlpool for replacements. Name: Peter S. Address: [redacted] Wellington NW, Dalton, GA [redacted] Cell: [redacted] Email: [redacted] Please reach out to me via the provided phone number or email to arrange sending the replacement screws. I can also share pictures of the necessary parts if needed. Thank you, Peter S.

I have been trying to contact your company for over a week, receiving different answers each time. I am requesting that the warranty be honored for the tank I purchased in [redacted]. I have had constant issues with it, and after having two plumbers assess the situation, they recommend a replacement. It has been difficult to schedule a visit with the information given, and I have yet to get through to your representatives while the plumbers are on-site. I am considering legal action if this matter is not resolved promptly. Please respond within the next 24 hours. My serial number is ~#_[redacted][redacted].

My dishwasher had a manufacturing issue that caused it to leak, leading to damage to my kitchen flooring. I contacted the insurance company and requested a report from the service technician verifying the problem as a manufacturing defect. However, I have not received the report after several months of waiting, and the insurance company has stopped responding to my inquiries. I believe the dishwasher should still be under warranty as it has not been a year yet. I am seeking assistance in resolving this matter as I am in need of a replacement dishwasher.

I purchased a [redacted] Whirlpool refrigerator on November 30, [redacted]. Unfortunately, the refrigerator is not cooling properly, as the temperature fluctuates between 40° to 45°. It also makes noises constantly, which can be quite alarming at times. A service request was placed on January 13, [redacted], but as of today, the parts have not arrived, leaving me without a properly functioning refrigerator. After contacting customer service on February 9th, I have been informed to wait until February 15th for any updates. I believe I have been understanding and patient throughout this process, but I am now considering requesting a new refrigerator. Thank you, Donna M.

It is becoming increasingly apparent that your company's responses to my concerns are driven solely by profit. Despite the ongoing failures of your refrigeration products, the focus remains on everything but finding a solution to assist the customer. Since [redacted], we have bought three sets of your fridge/freezer combos known as sidekicks, which continually fail due to leaking coolant and compressor issues, causing an unpleasant odor in our home. Adding to the frustration, your slight redesigns mean that when one unit needs replacement, the new models do not match the existing ones, coercing customers into buying the set once more. Our current fridge has suffered another coolant leak and compressor failure, with the repair efforts being hampered by an inaccessible leak within the cabinet wall. Yet again, the "new" model does not align with the previous one in our custom-designed kitchen, leaving us with limited options. Despite my reluctance, the only viable solution seems to be purchasing these problematic sidekicks again or undertaking a costly kitchen redesign. Should my plea be disregarded, I am prepared to advocate against Whirlpool and seek alternative options with the time and dedication needed. Your dismissive and insensitive responses, emphasizing warranty expiration and overlooking the recurrent need for replacement, are wholly unacceptable.

I bought an Amana washer/dryer set from Menards in Lawrence, Kansas on June 11, [redacted]. The Menards order number was [redacted] on my receipt and [redacted] on the "Picking List." The total cost was $1,[redacted].86. The washer was "3.5 CF TL WHT" (SKU: [redacted]) priced at $[redacted].00, and the dryer was "6.5CF WHIT-PICK" (SKU: [redacted]) for $[redacted].00. I'm reaching out because my tenants are facing issues with the washer. They report that despite cleaning efforts, the machine doesn't wash clothes properly. They can only use normal or heavy load functions; bulky items & sheets, casual, and delicate settings won't start. Additionally, after a wash cycle, they need to manually adjust settings for rinse/spin and drain/spin. Some settings leave detergent residue on clothes, making it seem like the washer isn't cleaning anything. It appears to only soak clothes, spin briefly, and then signal the wash is finished. I'm looking to arrange for a service technician to inspect the washer under warranty. Thank you.

I own a WOD51EC7AS05 model oven with serial number D[redacted]3, and I've had issues with it since the beginning. The sharp edges have caused scratches and cuts to the oven doors, even tearing my favorite pants today. It steams anything even slightly damp, leading to grease dripping down the sides and between the glass. It takes 15 minutes to reach the set temperature, and the beeper goes off too early. Cleaning is a challenge, especially removing the door to clean the glass inside. I rarely used it in the first year and a half, but since retiring, it has caused more problems. I'd appreciate advice on preventing the steaming issue and possibly receiving corner covers for safety. Overall, I am very unhappy with this oven.
