I tried to log in from my phone using the phone number, but it prompted me to wait 7 hours for another verification message due to recent login attempts. Now, when I try logging in, it indicates that my account is blocked and advises me to contact support for assistance. I urgently need access to my account, with the same phone number linked to it. This is crucial as it is a business account containing important data. I was taken aback by the incident and mistakenly had my friends report my WhatsApp account, not realizing it was a misstep. I emailed you on Sunday, January 24, [redacted], at 12:22, but have received no response. Below is the email I sent: Dear Team, My account has been hacked, and the hacker has gained ultimate access to my WhatsApp. They have set up a two-step authentication code and have changed the phone number linked to my account. They are now soliciting money from people in my contact list and engaging in scams and harassment. Despite my attempts to contact WhatsApp support before the hacker set up the two-step authentication, they were unhelpful. I have uninstalled WhatsApp from my main phone, inserted my SIM card into a spare phone with no important information, and installed WhatsApp. However, I received a message stating the account has a two-step authentication code, and the hacker has changed the phone number and email address associated with the account recovery. My phone number is +[redacted]46, and I have the SIM card and my original iPhone. I am reaching out via email, which has been linked to my apps for over a decade. After upgrading from an iPhone 11 Pro to an iPhone 12 Pro, I traded in my old phone, got a new Apple ID, and changed my phone number. I didn't transfer my iCloud backup since I hadn't used it. Even though my new number wasn't activated for three days, my new phone still displayed my old number without any previous data. I was concerned about the status of my WhatsApp account given the circumstances of erasing the old iPhone and Apple ID. Recently, I received an unexpected message from WhatsApp requesting a six-digit verification code, making me anxious about a potential breach. I urgently need to confirm the integrity of my old WhatsApp account and ensure it's either secure or promptly deleted.

I recently purchased an iPhone 12 Pro Max to replace my Samsung S20 Ultra and attempted to transfer my WhatsApp chats using a specific app. Unfortunately, the transfer did not go as planned despite multiple attempts. Due to repeatedly logging in and out, WhatsApp locked me out for 24 hours. After the lockout, I tried to receive a verification code to log back in, but I did not receive the code via text message. Now, I have to wait an additional 48 hours before requesting another code. I am concerned about not being able to access my WhatsApp account in the future. I have given up on transferring my chats and just want to regain access to my WhatsApp account. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I forgot to disable the feature that allows others to add me to groups, and as a result, unidentified individuals added me to a group where inappropriate content was shared. When I had WhatsApp linked to my Bolivian phone number, it worked fine even when I switched to my U.S. carrier in Oregon by changing the SIM card. I recently had to get a new device with a new carrier plan, so I backed up my WhatsApp data on Google Drive. After transferring my U.S. number to the new device and changing numbers on WhatsApp, I tried to restore my chat history from Google Drive, but it didn't work. I attempted to uninstall and reinstall multiple times, but the 3.4 GB backup wasn't transferring successfully. I even removed the Bolivian carrier SIM card, but still no luck. Despite following all the steps on the WhatsApp website to recover my chat history, nothing has been successful. I'm at a loss on how to retrieve my old chats.

The fraudsters demanded money to assist in reopening my account, which is crucial for my business. On January 31, [redacted], my account was hacked, causing me to lose access for 12 hours due to multiple verification attempts. During this time, the hacker removed me from all my WhatsApp groups, sent inappropriate messages to my contacts requesting verification codes, and changed my profile picture. As a result, my account was banned, and my attempts to regain access by emailing support have gone unanswered. Good morning, I need assistance. Two days ago, my WhatsApp account was hacked. As a minister, I am part of multiple church and other groups. The hacker called me pretending to add me to a church group, similar to a previous attempt by a brother to add me to an evangelist group. I realize now it was likely the same person. I am encountering what I suspect is a virus on my WhatsApp. I find myself having to frequently uninstall and reinstall the app to get rid of it. Strangely, the virus only affects my iPhone and not my MacBook. It causes a black background behind messages and distorts symbols like the camera icon, turning them black. Despite reporting this issue to WhatsApp around 15 times over the past eight months, I've been met with unhelpful responses. It seems like they are avoiding addressing the WhatsApp virus problem to protect their product’s reputation. I've shared multiple screenshots of the virus, but WhatsApp never provides a straightforward answer. Their responses often veer off-topic or completely ignore my original query. I recently received a WhatsApp message from a friend who claimed to have sent me a code by mistake. I initially shared the code with them but later realized they were hacked and promptly deleted the message. Subsequently, I got another message asking me to take a screenshot of the code, but I decided to ignore it. Today, I received a notification about changes made to my account, and before I could react, I found myself locked out of my WhatsApp. Although I tried to request a new code, no code was sent, and now it indicates that I have attempted too many times, even though I haven't tried at all. I have been receiving threatening and harassing messages via WhatsApp from various phone numbers every few days. The messages claim that I owe money and threaten harm to me and my family if I don't pay. I have no knowledge of any debts they are referencing, leading me to believe this is a scam. My phone number is unlisted, and if it is available through WhatsApp, it was unintentional. I have spoken to the local police who suggested contacting WhatsApp for assistance. I am a student facing several study-related issues. My WhatsApp number is 90[redacted]4. I receive important study questions daily on this number from my college. Recently, I received a call claiming I won a lottery of 25 lakhs on my Jio number, followed by a request to pay [redacted] rupees for GST taxes for the transfer. They asked me to pay the tax first and deposit it later once the money is in my account. After refusing, they instructed me to click on the three dots in WhatsApp, select WhatsApp web, and scan a QR code for unbanning my account. I followed their instructions and my WhatsApp was banned. Despite contacting the support team, they simply stated that my account will remain banned due to unspecified complaints received. As a student and a journalist at Punjab Kesari and JagBani groups, along with being the Chief Editor of Qadian Times Network, I am frequently subjected to threats and abusive messages. I belong to the persecuted Ahmadiyya Muslim community and operate a news outlet in Qadian. My account was reportedly mass reported by individuals due to my profession and religious beliefs. Hello, last night while using WhatsApp, I received a message stating that someone was trying to request a verification code for my account. I ignored the message and continued. I received multiple SMS with verification codes in German, and after several failed attempts to log in, I got locked out of my account. Even after waiting for new codes and trying different methods, I am still unable to access my account. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times, but the issue persists. I contacted WhatsApp customer service via email, but my email was blocked. I am currently waiting for 14 hours to request a new verification code, feeling frustrated and worried about the situation.
