I'm feeling frustrated and confused. After making changes to my chat settings with my partner to encrypt our conversations, I am now unable to see his profile picture. I was certain he wouldn't remove his niece's picture, so I sought help at a store. Unfortunately, the staff there accidentally deleted all our past chats and images, leaving me devastated. I am wondering if there is a way to undo the encryption. If not, I'm considering creating a new account with a different phone number to restore the ability to see his picture during our chats, as having an empty space is unsettling for me.

My WhatsApp media folders are empty, but when I attempt to back up, it takes over 12 hours and often fails. Although I have deleted all media files, the backup size is over 40GB. I recently upgraded my phone and don't have a backup to transfer. The app settings show WhatsApp storage as 92GB, yet data usage within the app is minimal. Despite having a Samsung Note 9 with 512GB memory, the backup process is still slow and excessively large. I suspect it might be including data from other sources like Google Drive, Photos app, or Samsung Drive. Uninstalling and reinstalling without a backup is not an option, and I am puzzled by the inflated backup size and storage display.

Good evening, I am reaching out to inform you that since Tuesday, March 15, I have been unable to use your WhatsApp Messenger application. I switched phones on Tuesday, March 15 (Android to IOS). However, the activation codes for the new account took a long time to arrive. This might not be your fault, I understand, yet once received, I try to validate my account. The issue arises when I enter the code sent to me, it is invalid, and I have to wait for a new code to be sent (1 hour, 5 hours, 24 hours, and now 2 days). I am therefore unable to respond to important messages during this crisis. I would appreciate prompt assistance. Hello. I requested assistance earlier, but the provided solution doesn't address my issue. Therefore, I'd like to pose a different query. I realize that when I backed up my WhatsApp data on my old iPhone, the videos were not included for some unknown reason. I'm unsure where the error occurred. Even though I've backed up all contents on my iPhone and most of my WhatsApp data, the videos were omitted. Since I still have my old iPhone with the videos, is there a method to solely back up either the videos or all the WhatsApp data to iCloud or iTunes? My plan is to then uninstall WhatsApp, reinstall it, and retrieve the backed-up files. My inquiry is about how to exclusively back up WhatsApp data (without including everything else on my device) while ensuring that the videos are incorporated in the backup for future retrieval.

My account has been hacked and used for robbery and fraud. My family and friends on the platform have been complaining. Please block the account and all messages in it. I was tricked when someone called me, sent me a code from one of my groups, and asked me to provide the code. Shortly after, I started receiving calls from family and friends reporting suspicious messages sent from my WhatsApp account, which I confirmed. My account has been hacked by an unknown person. This morning, my account was hacked after receiving a call from a man asking for a WhatsApp code they sent me. Unfortunately, in a moment of confusion, I shared the code.
