For the last two hours I in Canada and my daughter at the Westjet counter have been trying to resolve a baggage issue with the rudest Westjet manager. The gate is now closed making my daughter and * month grandson miss their flight home. The problem required us having our travel agent call Westjet. Had the Trinidad manager listened non of the stress would have happened nor would my family miss their flight. We tried to pay for the baggage's online and the system kept saying there was no cost for the * suitcases. The manager refused to listen nor pick up a phone to resolve the issue. The manger went as far as to walk off in a huff leaving the problem unresolved. Staying in Trinidad is now a costly recourse. Westjet needs to get my family at home as well as ensure that their front of services personnel are properly trained in proper deportment and customer service protocols. The manager seemingly did not have the resources to troubleshoot this issue nor did she display any institutional will to ensure that this traveling mother was served in a timely and successful manner. This needs to be resolved before the flight leaves.
