I opened an account with Wells Fargo sometime in fall of ****. Only about * months (give or take a few weeks) I had purchased a lyft ride home from work which should of had only cost me $* and some change we’ll they had charged me for the ride twice and I had exactly had only enough for the one ride. I didn’t know that they had done that either and by the time I found out when I received the email Wells Fargo had charged me with the overdraft fee. I believe I had owed them about $**. They charged me overdraft twice. I called technical support and they told me to go to me closest branch so I did. They told me to get ahold of Lyft and tell them what they did and to get a refund. I called * times and they had told me all * times the would send me something in the mail to fill out and send back and then they would refund me. * weeks later I hadn’t received it so I called back on more time and they told me that they wouldn’t accept the refund, I told them that all the past * times I called they said they would and that I hadn’t received the form. They said that a CO reviewed it and discarded it. Wells Fargo told me the only thing I could do then was fix my account by doing payments to pay it off. I didn’t want to deal with it so I left it alone and didn’t bother with it so I let my bank account close. Well now I have things I need to do that involve a bank account. I went to Wells Fargo one last time a few days ago and they told me I could do a fraud claim and see if I could get approved. So I just wanted to get ahold of you guys and see what I could do. If anything could be done.
