The issue in GetHuman-corebene's own words
This will be my *th attempt at getting anyone to contact me. I've twice sent an email , twice to some "webmaster @weil-mclain or something and just now to *****@***.com and now this contact site. My issue ? On Sept ** **** I had a Weil-Mclain GV**** installed at my house in Speculator NY by the local contractor in Northville NY- Allen and Palmer. It replaced a **...that's THIRTY-year old furnace. Everyone said, Weil-Mclain is the best so that's what we put in at the suggestion of Allen and Palmer. Total cost apx. $**** ( $****) for the boiler alone. On April **th **** (* *** years later) we see glycol all over the floor and think- Holy **** ! we have a problem. Allen and Palmer come up the next day which was great service and inform us we need a new boiler. We're informed they need to contact Weil-Mclain to get the green light to do so under warranty. They reassure us that it's covered as it's only * ***...THAT's * *** years old...BUT...BUT..not the labor charge to remove the new ish boiler to replace it with a new boiler. Wow what a company. I get a bill from Allen and Palmer for $***.** . Now I ask you. Is that fair ? Is that how Weil-Mclain absolves themselves by repeating the sad line of -Well, it says in the warranty labor is not covered. REAAAALLLLLY ?...So should I take solace in the fact that if my new boiler goes again in * *** years I should rejoice as your company will come and replace it and just not cover labor. So in * *** years I have spent **% of what the boiler cost or apx. **% of the whole installation. I am sure your company EXCELS at apologies and has a trained staff to sincerely say- We're sorry, but that's our policy sir"...Again sir, we're sorry for the issue "..." Have a nice day""' oh, and we're really really sorry. I am on the hook now for the bill and have no alternative but to pay it. So what might I expect as a remedy ? ...Refund me me my $***.**. That would be the decent thing to do, the honorable thing, the company reputable thing...THE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION thing. I guess the first thing will be to see if anyone ever responds to my emails-now *- of them and offers something...anything...I can be reached at ***-***-****-cell or ***-***-**** -home. Today is Monday the **th. I'm on pins and needles to see if anyone gives a **** about your policies as it relates to people who have to replace a new furnace with a new furnace. Glenn Naevestad
