I currently own three Walmart MoneyCards. I believed I had canceled one of them, but today when I checked what I thought was the account with an $80.00 additional deposit, I was surprised to find a small negative balance. This has caused me stress and confusion.
I work 3rd shift and I am usually available at home between 9am and 12pm EST. I would like to address my balance issues, as well as my ID and password problems. It seems that I inadvertently accessed my previously canceled card's account balance this morning at around 11:30am. I want to ensure that all cards except one are canceled promptly. Previously, I accessed what I thought was the same card and had a positive balance after purchasing concert tickets.
I kindly request assistance within the hours provided. If possible, I would greatly appreciate a phone call to navigate this complex situation more effectively.
Thank you sincerely,
M.

On approximately May 18th, my card was compromised. I raised disputes over two transactions, but both you and your partner, Green Dot, decided to freeze my account and retain my funds. Green Dot requested a clear image of a state-issued ID, which I struggled to provide due to security features on the Florida driver's license. After multiple failed attempts, I expressed frustration using inappropriate language and warned I would involve Walmart due to the unauthorized use of your name. I discovered numerous other dissatisfied customers with similar experiences, noting a concerning pattern of mistreatment. After my unsuccessful attempts to seek assistance, I resorted to making negative comments on social media regarding the situation. My name is Craig Walker, card #[redacted], incident #[redacted]. There are documented records of these events that both I and you are aware of. I am doubtful that you will assist me due to disregarding the concerns of a segment of your customers. You can reach me at [redacted] or [redacted], or by mail at PO Box [redacted], Tampa, FL, [redacted]. I have been a loyal customer for over six years, but now I am reconsidering my loyalty.

My partner requested an additional card with my name on it after we moved in together. Unexpectedly, he updated his address, causing his primary card to be frozen. This card is essential for paying our bills, and now all our funds are inaccessible. Despite submitting his license photo, they claimed it's unclear. Their verification process should have just required confirming his address and name. Strangely, they mailed the secondary card with my name and deducted the monthly fee, yet our money remains locked. It feels unfair that they can access our funds while we're unable to. I would appreciate a call at [redacted].

My card was unexpectedly closed, and I'm struggling to reach a customer service representative for help. Recently, I attempted to load $[redacted] onto the card but the clerk mistakenly loaded it all at once instead of in $[redacted] increments as I requested. Despite the error, I left the store assuming the transaction would be reversed since the maximum amount for a single load is exceeded. Now, I find my living expenses account closed and I urgently need access to the funds. Additionally, I initiated cards for my children which are now affected, restricting my banking privileges. I am puzzled as I never misused the funds and had my own money for transactions. Could you kindly assist in the return of the excess $[redacted] loaded onto the card?

I contacted the number [redacted] to report my lost Walmart money card. I followed the prompts to update my address, but I realized that the address was still my old one from Spring [redacted]. I couldn't speak to a live representative, so I called back and finally reached someone who asked me to log in. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember my password from when I opened the card in [redacted] under the username davidgradick. I have $57.00 left on the card after the fee, and $60.00 is deposited every other Friday. I need assistance getting a new card sent to my current address in Exton PA. Thank you.

I recently relocated and updated my address with my card company, requesting a replacement card as I thought I had lost mine. However, I later found my original card but my replacement was mistakenly thrown away by my daughter. I contacted customer service to request another replacement card but was informed it would be blocked, requiring me to provide a copy of my ID with the new address, despite already confirming my identity and the card being delivered to my new address. Despite providing extensive personal information, the representative insisted on blocking the card and requested a photo ID with the new address, which seemed unnecessary. I disclosed various personal details for verification including card balance, social security number, date of birth, and more, all to no avail. The representative did not explain how to submit the requested photo ID, leaving me frustrated with the situation.

I have two Walmart MoneyCards that were never activated and have expired in [redacted] that I need to replace. I am unsure of the balances, but I am looking to have new card(s) issued to replace them.
Update 06/26/18:
I have received two emails from GetHuman inquiring if my issue has been resolved. However, I am still in need of assistance. I tried calling the Walmart phone number on the back of my MoneyCard, but I was unable to speak to a live person despite trying various options on the phone menu. I require help in reaching a customer service representative.

My paycheck is directly deposited onto my Walmart prepaid Mastercard. When I tried to use the card to pay bills on Thursday, I received a message that my account was blocked. I contacted the number on the back of the card, and the representative mentioned "suspicious activity" on my account. I reviewed all my transactions online and found nothing suspicious. The representative requested a copy of my ID via email, which I promptly sent. However, they mentioned it would take two days to resolve. It has now been three days, and I still cannot access my funds. I am unsure of what steps to take next.

I am experiencing ongoing issues with accessing my funds on my Wal-Mart MoneyCard account every time my direct deposit is made. This has been happening for a couple of months now, and the money deposited is crucial for supporting my family. I rely on these funds to pay bills and cover expenses for myself and my seven children throughout the month. Unfortunately, the funds are often blocked or held without any clear explanation, causing me to incur late charges on my bills. I am struggling as my water is already off, and my electricity is at risk of being disconnected. I have been unable to reach a supervisor for assistance, and the customer service has been unhelpful and dismissive. Urgent intervention is needed to resolve this situation promptly.

My Walmart MoneyCard is currently blocked, and I need to verify my identity. Despite submitting a high-quality photo of my valid Louisiana state driver's license directly from a scanner, the system is not approving it. I am willing to provide the original format of the photo for your review. I don't believe the photo itself is the problem. It's possible the ID's wear and tear may have affected its integrity from an algorithmic standpoint, but I am confident manual verification should be feasible. I urgently require access to my funds, so I kindly request your assistance in resolving this issue promptly. Thank you.

I am requesting urgent assistance with resolving an ongoing issue with my Walmart Money Card account. Both my funds and my work direct deposit have been inexplicably held. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this matter with customer service, no one from corporate has contacted me as promised. I am in urgent need of accessing my funds to meet my rent and bill obligations promptly. I am bewildered by the lack of communication and assistance in straightening out whatever is causing this problem. On June 25, [redacted], a funding reversal was taken from my Walmart card, resulting in a total balance discrepancy. I received a message stating that the remaining balance would be refunded to me via check. I did not request this reversal and I am unsure why it occurred. Today, I attempted to deposit funds into my Walmart MoneyCard at a Walmart store, but the transaction was declined. When calling the Walmart card assistance phone number at [redacted], the automated system prompts me for the last four digits of my Walmart MoneyCard and then informs me that my balance was mailed to me on the 27th of this month. However, I have yet to receive the refund. It seems there is confusion with the card balance, and I am unable to get assistance from the Walmart store.

My card was fraudulently used in New Jersey, and when I contacted customer service, they were supposed to send me a new card. However, I haven't received it yet. I'm John C., my SS# is [redacted]-04-[redacted], my birthdate is 02/20/56, and my zip code is or was [redacted]. I'm currently staying at [redacted] Parkcreek Circle, Citrus Heights. Please send the card overnight there as my previous address may be linked to the fraud issue. The address on Redford in Carmichael might be causing the problem. This situation is serious, and if I don't get my money soon, I might consider legal action. You can contact me at [redacted] since I've lost my phone in this stressful situation. Regards, John C.

I recently purchased two Walmart Money Cards with the intention of consolidating my funds on them. However, when I tried to utilize one of the cards to pay my homeowner's insurance for my upcoming home purchase, I encountered unexpected issues. The card could only be used for face-to-face transactions, and I was unable to register it for online use. This situation is now preventing me from completing the payment for my insurance, which is crucial for the closing of my escrow. Resolving this matter promptly is essential as I need to transfer the funds to Sacramento to fulfill my financial obligations.

I am sending a dispute letter today, frustrated that the issue is over a sum less than $40. My claim number is SF-[redacted], and my replacement card number is 4[redacted]-8[redacted]. Unfortunately, my card was stolen, along with other belongings, while I was in jail from April 20th for 7 weeks. The charges occurred during that time at a website and Jack in the Box. Despite immediately reporting it upon release and receiving a new card, I was denied my money with claims of authorization. Being unable to approve any transactions, I've been through a lot, losing my job included. I seek the return of $39.78 and will enclose court documents proving my incarceration during the charges. Please consider reversing the charges. Thank you, Jodi H. [redacted].

I have been using Walmart MoneyCard for years to receive my disability benefits. Earlier this month, I misplaced my card and updated my address since I have been staying at my fiance's place more often. Unfortunately, this address change led to my account being blocked, causing my disability check to be returned. I later found my bank card on the same day my account got blocked, but I am struggling to obtain the necessary identification to lift the block due to lack of transportation and funds for the ID. I possess various forms of identity proof, including old and new mail with the same address, a benefits letter from the state, and even an expired driver's license copy. I seek assistance with resolving this issue.

Yesterday, on July 13th, [redacted], I lost my card, which is connected to an account where I have direct deposit. After contacting customer service, they advised me to cancel the card linked to the account and open a new one to transfer my funds. Unfortunately, this solution does not work for me as I urgently need access to the money in the account. The lost card was secure, and I believe it cannot be used by anyone else since I misplaced it at an ATM. Waiting seven days for a new card is not feasible, and I require access to my funds immediately. I am reaching out to seek assistance in finding a solution to this issue.

I had two different Walmart Visa Money Cards. Unfortunately, I lost one of them, and my entire paycheck was deposited onto the lost card. After numerous attempts, I finally spoke to a representative who confirmed my direct deposit but could not transfer the funds to my other card. I waited six days for a replacement card, but upon activation, I discovered a block on it and was asked to upload my ID multiple times without success. After struggling with automated responses, I finally reached a person who transferred me to the wrong customer service line. Frustrated and exhausted after a week of trying to access my money, I am disappointed with the lack of assistance. I need my money urgently to support my two young children. The security questions should verify my identity easily, but I am still stuck in this situation. Please assist me promptly and thank you.

I reported my card as stolen on 6/29/18 and still haven't received a replacement. I cannot access my balance because my password has been changed without my knowledge. I had a similar issue before, where my card was used before I received it. I am frustrated as my bills are overdue, and it seems like my money is being misused by someone else. I am considering reaching out to the FDIC and the Department of Commerce if this matter isn't resolved promptly. It feels as if there may be internal issues with employees misusing customer card details that need to be thoroughly investigated. I am so upset as this situation is affecting my utility payments, leaving me without essentials at home.
