I visited your Kings Cross branch in Granary Square London today at approx *pm. I paid at self check out at *:**pm and went to the coffee machine to get a Latte. **The first machine I used only filled up about **% tha it does when working perfectly. I'm aware that the machines can often fill about half of this but the milk*coffee ratio is always fine so drinkable. Today however it was much less than half and when I tasted it it was very strong. I tipped it out and tried the other machine.**I placed my cup under the dispenser, pressed the Latte button and suddenly an arm passed my face and pressed the red hand button several times. I looked at who the arm belonged to and was met with "you can't have more than one drink". I was so surprised and slightly embarrassed but also annoyed that this idiot had behaved this way without asking me why I was using the other machine. It should have been obvious that there was a problem with the first machine when I tipped the undrinkable contents out into the tray, but he chose to behave in a rude manner. **I showed him my empty cup and said quite sternly "excuse me there's nothing in there because the small amount the other machine dispensed was undrinkable". When he saw my cup was empty he said something like "oh ok' and walked off without apologising.*Fortunately there weren't many people around and so it wasn't as embarrassing as it could have been when busy.**I spoke to the manager on duty at the time who's name is Lucie and I said I would be making a complaint regarding this member of staff and pointed him out to her so that Waitrose Customer Service would know who I was referring to.**It makes me wonder why this member of staff thinks it's appropriate to behave like this when he must have seen there was a problem to begin with. What he did was confrontational and someone else could have pushed his arm away from their face and the situation could have escalated. **I have many years experience in customer facing and have never behaved in this way because it would be rightly regarded as unacceptable.**Not sure if there's much you can do regarding this mans attitude, however, I do not want to experience this from anyone in your store again.**On a good note, at the self checkout the girl helping there was very pleasant when there was a problem with the screen. Also the people at the bakery*cakes section are always very nice.**I'm trying not to be completely negative about this store because of one t**t.
