My name is Alfred Tutuwan, and you can reach me at [redacted]. On March 13, [redacted], I received a letter from the Virginia Employment Commission informing me that my benefit year is ending (BYE) and advising me to reapply for unemployment benefits if still unemployed, which I did. I completed the application over the phone with a live agent, and on March 21, I received another letter detailing my monetary determination, including the number of weeks due and the weekly amount. I have been filing my weekly claims regularly, but it has been five weeks without any funds deposited into my account. I am in urgent need of assistance to cover my bills and provide for my family. Thank you.

I have been receiving notices since 03/29/[redacted], and have diligently responded to all mail. While there were a few minor delays in payments, they completely ceased as of 03/27/[redacted]. Subsequently, on 04/05/[redacted], I was informed via mail that I needed to apply for the PEUC program on the Go2Gov website. I have successfully completed this step, except for the inability to upload a requested document. Despite filing weekly, I have yet to receive any payments, and I am unable to reach anyone by phone. I would appreciate clarification on the current situation and any guidance on resolving this issue. Thank you, Jeffrey H.

I recently received a letter from the Virginia Employment Commission about my weekly benefit amount, but I have not yet received my PIN number or payment card. I contacted a representative named Santana with ID #[redacted]. She advised me to fax or mail my current address along with a copy of my driver's license. I spoke to someone from unemployment this morning who mentioned that my PIN was supposedly mailed on April 21st. Today, I got a letter stating I have no reported claims and need to confirm my employment status in Virginia. I've filed 4 claims already. The person from VEC who called last week assured me that they received my updated information through fax and mail and that they are sending out my PIN again.

I have been receiving Pandemic Unemployment Emergency Compensation (PUEC) for [redacted] and [redacted], but I have not received four payments. I received a Benefit Year End (BYE) date of 3/20/21, and after calling and discussing the BYE letter, the representative advised me to continue filing my weekly benefits, which I have been doing. However, the payments seem to be in a repeat cycle each week. I also received a monetary determination on March 19th indicating my maximum benefit amount, weekly amount, and the extra $[redacted] benefit. After contacting another representative who had me file a new claim, I am still waiting for updates. Despite this, there has been no mention of the four weeks of back pay owed to me, and my account balance now shows zero dollars. I am uncertain about the situation and was promised resolution but have not received the back pay. I appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you. Sincerely, Deborah R. I have not received payment for the past two weeks, ending April 24th and May 1st. I filed via phone twice for my ongoing weekly benefits, and then online on the Gov2Go website. I received confirmation numbers for both weeks when I filed online. I also received a letter instructing me to "refile" for the year, prompting me to try to start a new claim. When I attempted to file a new claim on the Gov2Go site, I received a submission error message indicating that there was no need to submit a [redacted] PEUC claim. The VEC call center number provided did not lead to any assistance. I tried calling and pressing option 2 but encountered no response. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.

I received a letter weeks ago stating that my unemployment benefits were extended. I filed my weeks but only received one payment. Despite my efforts, I have been unable to get through to customer support. The online assistance is not available, and I keep encountering an error with my weekly payment processing. The recent letter confirms my eligibility, with a maximum benefit amount of $[redacted] and a weekly benefit amount of $66, valid for 12 weeks ending on 4/30/22. I urgently need this financial support as I am struggling. Please assist me in resolving this issue promptly. My name is Dylan D. and you can reach me at [redacted].

Despite the VEC extending my claim, I have not received any funds. I completed online and phone filings but keep getting $0. As a single father of two, this situation is causing significant hardship. I am Arthur W. Moss 3rd residing at [redacted] Kings Hwy, King George, VA [redacted]. I was reassured via email about my pin, but the problem persists. I feel stuck and hope for assistance. Thank you for your attention. Respectfully, Art

For the past year, I have not received my unemployment benefits due to an erroneous hold on my claim by VEC. Despite numerous attempts to contact VEC through calls, emails, faxes, and in-person visits, the issue remains unresolved with no explanations or solutions provided. The delay in receiving tens of thousands of dollars in owed payments has caused immense frustration and I am considering legal action if the matter is not addressed promptly.

I am a contractor for the US State Dept currently in Ankara, Turkey. I collected Virginia unemployment benefits for 7 weeks in [redacted] before starting my current position with DECO. I have my mail forwarded to my daughter's address in Oviedo, Florida. My daughter received a letter from the VEC dated Dec 28, [redacted], on Jan 9, [redacted], suggesting I may have received an extra week of benefits. I completed the questionnaire provided and sent it back promptly as per their instructions. Despite mailing it, I have not heard back from the VEC regarding their findings or the reimbursement payment. I have been trying to contact them via phone and email with no response. This issue needs resolution for me to file my tax return for [redacted]. Please advise me on the next steps. Respectfully, Robert F. Love.

My name is William T., and I live in MD but worked in VA at a company in Alexandria from Fall [redacted] to March 31st when I was let go due to the business downturn. I applied for unemployment benefits in VA on April 20th and was approved but have not received any payments for the 6 claims I filed. I'm unable to reach VA Unemployment about the issue with my initial claim or subsequent weekly claims. I even visited the Alexandria office, which was closed. I'm hoping someone from VA Unemployment can contact me to help resolve this payment issue. Please reach out to me at [redacted]. Thank you for your time and assistance. Sincerely, William T.

I am reaching out for assistance with my unemployment benefits. I was laid off on March 17th and have been filing weekly claims as instructed. I received confirmation documents from VEC, a PIN number, and instructions on filing. Despite following all procedures, it has been nearly three months without any payment. I provided my Wells Fargo direct deposit details and have been actively seeking employment. I reached out to a representative named Kelly Johnson who promised to contact VEC on my behalf, but I am yet to hear back from them. I am owed roughly $4,[redacted] and have been unable to get a resolution despite daily attempts to contact VEC. Any guidance on how to proceed in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. - K.B.

I have been struggling to submit my weekly PUA certification for weeks. Every time I try through the voice systems, it says there is no week to claim. I have sent numerous emails without any response. I also went to the local office without success and Gov2Go hasn't been helpful either. According to the voice system, it suggests I filed an initial claim for PUA and need to apply for regular unemployment, even though I should already be in the PUA payment system. My name is Thomas H., and my social security number is [redacted]. I hope someone can assist me with resolving this issue.

I applied for unemployment benefits in January. After receiving a determination letter stating I didn't qualify for benefits due to incorrect information that I worked only one quarter, I followed up by faxing my [redacted] W-2 form as requested. Assured that all documentation was in order, I submitted copies of my driver's license, social security card, [redacted] and [redacted] W-2 forms, as well as a utility bill with my name and address. Although I received another determination stating that everything was fine and the processing date was May 9, [redacted], I have yet to receive any payments.

I need assistance regarding my missed deadline with VEC. Due to using the phone system instead of gov2go, which I was advised against, and a serious injury on May 22, I missed the May 28 deadline by one day. I discovered the correct link on the website too late, as the phone system showed my confirmation # as 0. I was expecting an appeal letter, but haven't received it yet. I am 77 years old, have some handicaps, and have been diligently searching for jobs despite losing my spouse of 50 years and sustaining a serious injury. I urgently need this assistance and am struggling without it. Can I provide the necessary information to have my account reinstated? Please, could someone call me? I'm feeling lost and distressed about this situation.

To Whom It May Concern, I submitted my weekly claim for the week ending on 6/5/[redacted] on Sunday, 6/06/[redacted], as usual. Despite making sure I followed all instructions and submitted my applications, when filing via telephone, it didn't prompt me for the necessary information. My payment did not come through as expected, and upon calling, I was notified that there was an issue preventing the processing of my claim. Despite my efforts to contact for assistance, I was met with a busy tone each time. I am puzzled as I have followed all steps as advised. I also have a job interview scheduled at Harris Teeter, [redacted] W Ocean View Ave, Norfolk, VA [redacted], with Stephanie at 11:30 on 6/14/[redacted]. Please advise on how I can resolve this matter promptly to receive my benefits. Sincerely, June Bradley

I recently received a letter saying I was eligible for unemployment benefits until September [redacted]. However, although I have been filing my claims regularly, I have not received any payments since March. This morning, I heard a message on the call center about payments being suspended due to an issue. I am confused and worried. I have been struggling financially, maxed out my credit cards, and had to take a loan. If I don't receive my benefits soon, I may have to consider moving as I can't afford my apartment anymore, especially with my 91-year-old mother and her 97-year-old brother living with me. On top of this, I have also not received my IRS refund. I am truly stressed and would appreciate some assistance and clarity on this matter. Thank you.

I submitted a claim on February 2, [redacted], and to date, June 16, [redacted], I have not received any updates despite multiple attempts to contact them. I managed to reach someone in late March who informed me I needed two forms completed - one from me and one from my doctor. After receiving only one form the following week, communication ceased, and my repeated attempts to reach them by phone were unsuccessful. Three weeks ago, I finally received the second form, which my doctor promptly filled out and faxed back two weeks ago. The lengthy delay in processing my claim has left me unable to seek alternative employment due to financial constraints. I have been patient, understanding the challenging circumstances, but the prolonged wait and lack of communication have become untenable. I urge for a swift resolution so I can settle my outstanding bills and return to my job search promptly.

I am experiencing issues with id.me's tech support failing to assist me with the problem of not being able to upload a picture of my Driver's License for identity verification. As a result, I am seeking to update my email address on my Virginia Employment Commission account due to complications with id.me's system. Their support and IT systems are disappointing. I need to modify my email address linked to my Virginia Employment Commission account. Unfortunately, the www.gov2go.com platform does not offer an option to update the email tied to my VEC account. Thank you for your anticipated help.

I have been struggling to file an unemployment claim since July [redacted], without any success. After filing a new claim, I still have not received any assistance. Despite being instructed to call a special number, no one has reached out to me as promised. I have depleted my retirement funds over the past 15 years due to lack of income. I believe I am entitled to back payment from July [redacted] until now. I have encountered constant system errors, disconnections on the helpline, unfulfilled promises by staff, and financial hardships leading to the brink of eviction while waiting for assistance. This ongoing situation has caused me significant mental and emotional distress, and I hope to finally find a resolution soon.
