I applied for unemployment last year but never received the additional funds from the cares act. A friend mentioned I may be entitled to an extra $[redacted] weekly. I have been struggling to claim my weekly benefits for over a month now. The automated system repeatedly states that I have no weeks to file, which is incorrect. It offers to connect me with an agent, but then jumps to a different option without my input. Additionally, when attempting to use my pin number to check the status of my claim, it claims my pin is incorrect even though I know it is right. I have missed payments for most of May and June. I received a letter to call by July 8th to figure out the correct 30-day period. When I dial the provided numbers and enter my social security number, the system says it's invalid, which is very frustrating. After several days of trying, I managed to get through on Sunday, but this has been an ongoing issue. I have been calling the customer service center every morning for almost 6 weeks without success. I suddenly lost my unemployment benefits without any warning. I had been diligently emailing them about ongoing issues prior to this sudden halt in payments. Since April, I have been attempting to initiate my unemployment insurance benefits. Initially, I was denied, but after three weeks, I was informed that I could collect. An amount of $[redacted].00 was auto-deposited into my account. Despite being instructed to file weekly and having my calls accepted, I have not received any checks. This senior citizen applicant has been trying to contact VEC for over three weeks without success. He is uncertain if the information he sent via commercial fax on July 15, [redacted], was received for his claim/PAU. He also wants to know the status of his claim since the automatic message stated it's "ineligible." As a senior citizen and veteran, he needs guidance on the next steps, which could involve requesting a review or initiating an appeal process. I have been making my weekly claims for 8 weeks now without receiving any payments. Despite being registered on the workforce site and actively searching for jobs, I have faced numerous issues when contacting customer service - I have been hung up on, put on hold and even verbally abused. It's been almost a month, and my code won't work. Despite entering the correct passwords on my computer, the system keeps locking me out. I've been struggling for weeks to access my Benefits and submit my weekly claim without success. It's frustrating not being able to speak with a real person on the phone to resolve this issue. I've been diligently applying for jobs, but after interviews, I end up getting rejected, which is puzzling since I have a clean background. Perhaps someone is tainting my references. I recently received an official Monetary Determination indicating my regular unemployment benefits would start on May 9th, [redacted]. Despite filing weekly over the phone, I have not received any benefits. After a two-week wait for a phone interview with a Virginia Unemployment representative, they informed me there is an issue with my identification (ID). Following their instructions, I created an ID.ME account and completed the verification process, expecting confirmation within 5-7 days. However, five days later, I received a notice of denial/disqualification related to my phone interview, questioning the validity of my ID. Since I have a valid ID and received the official Monetary Determination, I believe I should not have to apply for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) from scratch. Considering filing an appeal to resolve this delay, I hope to avoid any unnecessary additional setbacks.

I recently received a phone call from someone at Gov2Go who informed me that a representative named Brittany from VEC was handling my PAU claim. There seems to be an issue with some documents I submitted that were not received, possibly due to a computer error. I have tried calling the number provided in the email over [redacted] times but have been unable to reach anyone. According to the information I received, Brittany requires some additional information to help resolve the problem. As a cancer patient, I have been unable to access vital medication because of this issue. The last time this happened, I ended up in the hospital with a $5,[redacted] medical bill.

My PUA benefits suddenly stopped after receiving them since March [redacted]. I've followed all the steps required, but now I'm getting the run-around. If necessary, I am prepared to hire a lawyer. I have saved records of all the calls on my phone, and it's frustrating that each call brings a different response. I have provided all the information requested, so I expect my claim to be resolved promptly. I have consulted four attorneys who are prepared to take legal action on my behalf if the issue is not addressed soon. They have reviewed all the evidence and are in agreement that this situation is unacceptable.

I have not received the final payment for the claim I filed in Week Thirty Nine on January 3rd. I have been checking my bank account regularly since then, as I find this situation unacceptable.
I used Gov2go for all my claims and can provide the Confirmation Number for Week Thirty Nine if needed to assist in resolving this matter.
I have not been able to reach customer service as it requires both my SSN and a PIN, which I never received in the mail. Not having my PIN has made it impossible to get assistance regarding my missing payment.
I am frustrated and disappointed with this whole ordeal and urgently need help to receive my Week 39 Claim Payment promptly. Kindly address this issue and ensure I receive my payment.

I am facing two issues with my PUA claim that need resolution. The first problem I encountered was missing back payments for 11 weeks due to a glitch in the Gov2Go app. The Virginia Employment Commission did not initially receive my verification as a self-employed/gig worker, leading to the initial denial of that week's claim. After filing an appeal upon receiving the denial letter, I was able to successfully backfile for the 11 weeks. However, the support I have received has been inconsistent and confusing. Different representatives have provided conflicting information, from claims expiring to identity verification requests and alleged overpayments. Despite being informed that a payment was issued to a different account incorrectly, I am still awaiting resolution and further contact from a deputy to address these ongoing issues.

I applied for unemployment in April and never received any updates despite my numerous attempts to reach out. After reapplying in July and receiving a PIN and a letter about my benefits, I contacted the Virginia Employment Commission several times without clear answers. Finally, I was told to wait for a deputy's response and eventually got a letter confirming my qualification starting August 1, [redacted]. The Employment Commission claimed to have sent a check for $1,[redacted] on September 7, which I requested to be deposited into my checking account. However, I have yet to receive any payment.
