I recently signed up for internet service with Verizon, but when I tried to set up my account portal, I encountered some confusion. After speaking with a chat agent, I was informed that Verizon doesn't offer home services in Houston and was directed to a third-party company. Upon contacting them, they were unaware of my account details. I'm now unsure of my account number and service provider. Despite responding to a Verizon ad and having the installation done by someone in a Verizon vehicle and uniform, I'm left puzzled.

I am canceling our cable service but wish to retain our internet service and potentially our landline. I have a few inquiries: 1. Could you please provide the rate for only keeping the wifi service? 2. Can you offer a quote for wifi along with a landline? 3. Are there any termination fees associated? My account is [redacted]-[redacted]-90. Comcast wired our building and has a $50 per month offer for a two-year contract. I would like to stick with Verizon if they can match or beat those rates.

I recently received a notice of a potential disconnection for my phone service, which I found concerning as I never received a bill for the smartphone I got in October. The charges for this phone are not showing up on my Verizon bill, and I have not received a separate wireless bill either. The phone number assigned to me is [redacted], and a pin was given to me in the store, but unfortunately, I don't have it handy to assist in resolving this over the phone at 1-[redacted]. I was informed the monthly fee would be $55, the lowest for someone with minimal usage. I believe I owe $[redacted] for October and November, but I am uncertain about the additional $57.88 charge. I am curious if this includes taxes or other fees. Is it possible to receive a copy of the bill via email, as it never reached me by mail?

I have been a customer since [redacted], and I want to share my recent experience. Three months ago, my son's phone started malfunctioning, resetting itself every few hours. I took it to the store for repair as it is still under a contract, which I've had for three years now. The store manager advised us to send it in for insurance repair and mention the cracked back cover. Despite not understanding the reason, I followed the instructions. The insurance then requested a $[redacted] deductible. Considering the years of payments and the deductible, I could have purchased a new and updated version. I simply wanted it fixed, but they indicated they couldn't repair it due to the cracked back cover. I emphasized that the appearance was not important to me, but they insisted on replacing the phone because of it. As a long-time customer, this experience left me feeling disappointed. I just wanted to share my complaint with someone at Verizon.

I've been experiencing missed calls lately without my phone ringing or vibrating, registering only as missed calls after. These missed calls occurred while I was in the front yard or driveway at home. I've also noticed fluctuating signal strength at my residence, ranging from fair to very weak at times. In the past, a similar issue was resolved by a technician realigning the cell site antenna. I attempted to contact [redacted] but was on hold for an extended period without success. Could a technician investigate this cell site matter? Thank you, Russ Ledig

I recently received emails regarding two costly iPhones added to our account yesterday. I have confronted the family member who seems responsible, but they deny any involvement. They even suggested reporting it as fraud, claiming their phone was deactivated without consent today. I feel stuck and unsure of the next steps to take.

I opened this Verizon account in May [redacted]. Since purchasing the phone and service, I have encountered numerous unexpected charges for services I never requested. Even the customer service and billing representatives seem unsure about the situation. I am eager to cancel this contract and switch to Straight Talk while keeping my current phone number. I am frustrated by the lack of clarity in resolving this issue, as I was assured two weeks ago that it was settled with a nearly $[redacted] credit. Despite this, my service has been shut off, and I am left unable to make or receive calls, with only access to Facebook.

Hello, I recently bought a new Alcatel (AVALON) phone and a $50 prepaid plan at a Walgreens Pharmacy in Palm Springs. When I tried to activate the phone, I received a new number [redacted]. However, I encountered server errors when trying to make calls. Additionally, my text messages are not going through. I would appreciate any assistance with resolving these issues. Thank you, Tillie S.

I received an email about charges for services I didn't use from Verizon. Despite canceling due to the lack of service, I was told there would be no charges. Now, I have received a bill of over $[redacted] since disconnecting. I had been a loyal customer for over 20 years. I would appreciate speaking to someone promptly to resolve this matter. Thank you, Ida M.

My spouse and I have been loyal Verizon customers for years. Recently, we made the switch to T-Mobile due to a promotion. We were informed that once our numbers transferred, our Verizon service would end. To our surprise, we received a $60.08 bill from Verizon last week for a tablet that was listed but not used because it was not working. This was an oversight on our part, and T-Mobile is not involved in this matter. We kindly request Verizon to refund us for the fees associated with the non-functional tablet. Both of us are seniors with limited computer knowledge.

My spouse and I bought new One+ 7 Pro smartphones from One+. We visited a Verizon store to transfer the sim cards from our old phones to the new ones. Everything is working fine except for receiving text messages. We were advised that we need to switch a setting to CDMA-Less. Our phone numbers are [redacted] and [redacted]. Please address this issue promptly. Thank you.

After relocating to an area with no coverage, I contacted Verizon in October regarding my early termination fee and phone payment plan. They agreed to waive the fee if I returned my device, a Pixel 3. I returned the phone on October 30th and received a receipt showing a $[redacted].29 refund. However, my final bill still reflects this amount due. I have a copy of the return receipt and need assistance in resolving this issue promptly.

I find the Verizon Wireless app on the Google Play Store to be useless. Each time I attempt to log in to make a payment, I encounter a new problem. This time, the issue lies with my password. Allegedly, Verizon should be sending a link to my phone for authentication. I am considering switching to Metro Mobile as I have not faced similar problems with their service. Unfortunately, there is no store conveniently located near my residence. Despite venting my frustrations, I still need to address the ongoing challenges with Verizon.

Account # [redacted]67-[redacted] Hello, I visited the Verizon store in Olney, Maryland, this Sunday, December 8, at 1:30 PM. My purpose was to inquire about upgrading my 4GB data plan. The agent, Mr. Ngo, suggested that by enrolling in autopay, I could have unlimited data for the same price as my current 4GB plan, $[redacted].84. Excited about this offer, I signed up for autopay at home as advised. Unfortunately, when I checked my new bill, it showed $[redacted].66 instead of the expected amount. It was a disappointing situation. After spending 45 minutes in an online chat with a Verizon representative, the issue was resolved, and my plan was restored to its original state. This experience has left me feeling let down, especially because it’s not the first time I've encountered misleading information from an agent at this particular store. Best regards, [Initials]

I relocated a few months back and need to pay for my prepaid plan. Despite updating my address through the app and informing customer service, my payment keeps failing due to a "zip code error." My bank has the correct information, but the issue persists. I require assistance to override the payment and restore my service.

I am assisting my 95-year-old uncle with canceling his Verizon phone contract as he has relocated closer to family due to his sight impairment. Unfortunately, we are unable to locate the contract since his previous caregiver, my late sister, handled it. I have the account number but not the PIN and suspect it may be the last four digits of his social security number. I attempted to reach customer service but was on hold for an hour and a half without success.

My mother, who is 82 and has dementia, is facing phone issues. I am struggling to cancel her service due to her phone being missing. The provider insisted on going to a corporate store to cancel, but it's difficult for my mother due to her condition. I even attempted to buy her a new phone, but was unable to do so without the old one, which she has misplaced. All I want is to cancel her service, but I am finding it quite challenging.

I recently came back from a trip to Mexico. During my vacation, a Verizon salesperson assured me about a travel package that should cover my mobile usage, despite my limited tech knowledge. I barely used my phone for three short calls over a two-week period. Surprisingly, upon my return, I received a bill for $[redacted], whereas my usual bill amounts to $[redacted]. I did not receive any alerts about exceeding my usage limit while abroad. Can I please request a detailed explanation in writing about the specifics of my current package? Thank you, Elsie Laverty.

I am an employee at EcoLife in Ephraim, Utah. We are currently facing difficulties accessing our business account on Verizon's website to determine the devices and phone numbers assigned to each. Unfortunately, our passwords and security questions have become disorganized. I have attempted to contact Jonathan D. in West Valley, Utah, our business account manager, for assistance, but have not received a response yet. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be highly valued.

I purchased a phone last Saturday and signed up for StraightTalk/Verizon service to keep my number. They mentioned it might take up to 2 business days for the number transfer, but it has already been that long and I still can't make calls or send texts. I tried contacting customer service, but I can't get through because the issue is with my phone number. I really need my phone to work, and it has already been 4 days. Will my number ever transfer, or should I switch to a different carrier? My old phone broke down, so I've been without a phone for 4 days now.
