To recover your account, use your email address to reset your password but be sure you have the spelling correct. The best thing you can do is try to reset the password by clicking "Forgot Password" under the login then follow the prompt. You should have the option to reset with your phone number.

Hey there, I've been having trouble logging into my venmo account. Had to factory reset my phone- so lost a lot of apps and info. I have the current email and password. But every time I try to log in it says it needs to send a verification code to my cell phone. I've had this app a long time and didn't realize I had yet to update my phone number and the debit card it's linked to. So the ways you use to verify it's me trying to access my account is outdated and won't work. I've emailed the help center twice now and it hasn't been resolved. I have a $*** payment that needs to be moved to my debit account, so I'd like it to be resolved soon. Please and thank you (:
