I contacted customer service regarding my * year old, **" Vizio smart t.v. The issue is my t.v. screen is being consumed by a dark shadow. An issue that is apparently a common occurance with vizio t.v.s. I had researched the issue online before contacting customer support. When I spoke to customer support (the second time) it was indicated to me that they would be replacing my t.v. However after being put on a brief hold I was told vizio was giving me the option to purchase a new t.v. from them at a discounted price. I DID NOT find this to be a satisfactory solution! I paid nearly $*** for my t.v. * years ago as a luxury purchase. I dont feel that in * years time it should be having the issue it is. After having discovered the problem is apparently common in vizio t.v.s it is my belief that vizio is knowlingly manufacturing and selling inferior products. And has left consumers with nothing more than empty pockets and useless t.v.s. All I wanted from vizio was to offer to repair, refurbish or replace with a refurbished t.v. All I got was customer service that was of no help or use to me.
GetHuman-sharonzy did not yet indicate what VIZIO should do to make this right.
