Hello. I recently we to universal. Was super excited to get to ride the rides and enjoy the experience of universal. I spoke with a representative online to buy them and ordered a two day two park pass! We had flown in and this was something we really were looking forward too if it was worth it. Our main concern was rain and storms and being able to ride the rides. We were told that the park stays open and rides as well during inclement weather and to not worry but to go ahead and buy them. I felt reassured. But During our stay the first day we arrived it was storming on and off and we were unable to even get on the hulk or two or three more rides we came to the park for. The app on or phone kept saying they were reopened and when we would rush back to get on would be told by staff that the app was incorrect. This happened over * times on multiple rides. We didn’t worry much Because we had another day left. However as soon as the following day occurred it stormed all day on and off and most of the rides remained closed, so we just showed up later because the app stated all rides closed and when calling the park the agreed. Which didnt help. We showed up anyways later around * pm and still most of the rides were not running and we were forced to go to all indoor rides which the lines were backed up and we got through two because they were the only rides open. My name is Taylor Klein and came down this past Friday and Saturday. I feel like I was taken advantage of for money and ended up paying ***$ to sit in lines of rides I had no choice but to be on and never got to experience what I came there for. I really need to speak with a manager or get in contact with someone. I’m extremely disappointed and pissed off and want a refund of at least half of my money because of these fraudulent claims by your representatives that didn’t actually follow through with there word. Didn’t get to ride even three of the rides I came there for because of these on and off delays and closures. Not to mention staff was so rude to us when we ran across park to claims that ride had reopened on app just to be let down and told it wasn’t. I would have never bought the tickets had I known this was how they handled weather. *Waiting to hear back. *Taylor Klein
