On November 1, [redacted], I was charged twice due to issues with your platform. There was a $29.67 USD order (excluding shipping charges) placed at Tablita del Tártaro in Quito, Ecuador. I checked on it the same day, and it seemed like the problem was resolved. However, I noticed this double charge on my credit card statement. I am a new customer who placed my first order on 10/15/[redacted], my birthday. Unfortunately, the $30 promo code I used didn't work due to an error saying "not able to process Promo code on this device." Despite trying on multiple devices, such as my phone, iPad, and laptop, I couldn't get it to work. After an hour and a half of trying, I gave up and paid the full amount through PayPal, requesting a $30 credit, which PayPal granted. I also emailed customer service about this credit. My credit card was charged the full amount initially and later credited $30 back. However, when I tried to place a new order two days ago, I received a message stating my previous order was unpaid, causing my new orders not to go through. I spent another hour attempting to resolve this issue with no luck. I kindly ask for my account to be cleared of the balance, as I have already paid, and to remove the flag on my account so I can continue using your services. Thank you, Victoria.

I bought 3 Uber Eats gift cards via Amazon. Unfortunately, I mistakenly used the American Amazon site instead of the Canadian one. Amazon refunded one card but couldn't do the same for the other two. They advised me to reach out to Uber Eats for assistance. One of the cards was entered and accepted for an order, but it didn't work when trying to pay. The other two cards are unused. Can anyone provide guidance on how to resolve this issue?

I am extremely disappointed with the delivery service I received. It appears that the driver parked across the street from my house for an extended period without attempting to deliver my order. I politely request that the tip I provided be revoked from the first driver and redirected to the second one who successfully delivered my food. This level of service is unacceptable, and I am appalled that a driver would wait for 20 minutes without making the delivery.

Last night, my family ordered food delivery from IHOP through your service, but when it arrived, some items were missing. IHOP mentioned that all items should have been in the sealed bag, and as it was not sealed, due to COVID-19 concerns, they recommended disposing of the food. I agreed, and we had to discard it to ensure safety. I am now out fifty dollars and am concerned about what happened to the missing items and what will be done about the money I lost.

I used a gift card to set up my account because I don't have a credit card. When I try to check out on Uber Eats, it asks for another payment method. I don't have one, and it won't use the money in my wallet. I find this strange. This issue happens with multiple restaurants, not just one. I study from home, and my husband buys me Uber Eats gift cards, but they never work. This is the third time I've encountered this problem. How can you resolve this? Please stop requesting unnecessary information from me when it's not needed.

Hello, I recently placed an order through the Uber Eats app as I usually do, but encountered an issue. The order was placed at 2:30 am on 6/12/20. When I made the payment, the app did not show that the payment went through immediately as it usually does. After waiting and checking the order section, I saw no order information. Thinking it might be a card issue, I tried again with a different card, only to have the same problem occur. Upon checking my bank apps, I noticed both payments went through and were pending. The Uber app froze, and I couldn't cancel the orders. The restaurant called to confirm the double order, but they will only send one. I tried to contact Uber Eats but had no luck. I need a refund for one of the orders due to the app glitch. I tried emailing but got a response that the email is not monitored. The Help section was not helpful either. I have just registered with Uber Eats and installed the app. However, every time I try to place an order, I am notified that my payment method has been declined. After speaking with my bank, they confirmed they did not see any attempted charges from your end. I attempted to add a new card as an alternative payment method, but this also did not go through. I then tried changing one of the cards to a business card in hopes that it would solve the issue, but to no avail. I am seeking assistance in getting my card to process successfully and removing the business card from my account. Thank you for your help.

Dear Customer Services, I recently purchased a £25 gift card from Uber to use on my Uber Eats account, but unfortunately, it did not work. My promotional discount wasn't applied correctly, so I paid the full amount and disputed the promo charge on my credit card. The disputed amount was credited back to my card. However, Uber now blocks me from using the app until I pay the full bill, including the promo amount. Even though I initially settled the entire bill and only had the promo amount credited. I have tried reaching out to Ubereats without any luck, and their phone customer service seems to be non-functional. Maybe it's better to switch to a different service, considering there are many alternatives available.

I reached out to live chat support immediately upon discovering the issue. Unfortunately, I did not receive the assistance I needed, and my problem remains unresolved. The situation unfolded as follows: I initially placed an order for two items, but an error occurred which led to me placing the order again. Within 5-10 minutes, my credit card was charged an amount different from what I expected. Upon checking the receipt on Uber Eats, I realized that only one item was showing, along with service and delivery charges because my order did not meet the minimum requirement for UberEats Pass benefits. I contacted an agent urgently to inquire whether I should cancel the first order and create a new one with an additional item or simply add another item to avoid extra charges. The initial agent mentioned I couldn't cancel the first order, so I proceeded to place a new order with the missing item. Shortly after, I was informed by the agent that I would be charged double for fees and service. When I expressed my disagreement, the agent abruptly ended the conversation. Another agent later joined the chat, acknowledged the mistake of canceling the ongoing order unintentionally, and abruptly left the chat, advising me to send an email. My request was clear: I wanted to order two items without incurring delivery fees and service charges, as I am an Uber Pass member. Unfortunately, I only have one item and all the associated fees that should have been waived.

I recently received a voucher from your company as a new customer. I ordered Chinese food, my favorite, and was disappointed. The chicken was rubbery and tasteless, so I had to throw it away. The Singapore vermicelli had no meat, just plain noodles with a strange BBQ sauce. This Chinese food was unlike any I've ever had. I would not recommend it. I kindly request a refund and will order from Paradise for quality food. Thank you for addressing my concerns.

Order # D3772 was placed for Coach House Dinner in Jersey City on 12/6/20. The total amount of the order was $[redacted].34. The order should have contained 2 bags with specific items, but only 1 bag was delivered. Missing items include 2 cups of soup, 3 mashed potatoes, 2 gravies, 1 broccoli, 1 house salad, 1 extra sauce, and 1 strawberry shortcake. Despite attempts to reach out to the driver and UberEats, communication was unsuccessful. Coach House confirmed the missing bag was on-site and offered the option to pick it up, which was inconvenient, or have it delivered for an additional $5 charge. The 2nd bag arrived over an hour later, requiring an additional payment to the driver. This experience was disappointing and impacted the meal negatively. We are frequent users of UberEats and hope for a response to address this issue.

However, it's now 7:53 pm, and the driver informed me at 7:30 pm that he's on his way, now expecting the delivery around 8:10 pm. As I have a child with Type 1 diabetes who needed to eat due to low blood sugar, this delay has been particularly challenging. Additionally, the $35 AMEx credit I had wasn't applied to the order, which is disappointing as it influenced my decision to place the order. We were looking forward to this special meal to brighten up our time during lockdown, but the experience has left us frustrated and hungry. I placed an order with Stephanos Greek Grill in Las Vegas, NV, and was expecting my delivery by 6:45 p.m. Unfortunately, the food didn't arrive until around 7:30 p.m., and I discovered it sitting outside, completely cold. The driver didn't even ring the doorbell to notify me. I paid $50.94, which included the driver's tip, but I feel he doesn't deserve it. My order number is 1BA56, and I request a refund to be issued to the card on file. It's disappointing to receive such service; the driver should be reminded to follow common delivery practices like ringing the doorbell. This incident occurred on the evening of Sunday, December 6th.

On 10/15/20, I made my first UberEats order utilizing a promo for $30 off. Unfortunately, the promo code didn’t apply, and despite my efforts to contact them via call and email, I had no success. Wanting to enjoy my birthday with my son and granddaughter, I proceeded with the order and later disputed the $30 charge on my credit card, which was resolved in my favor. On 12/6/20, I made an order at Dunks Hancock St Quincy MA at 2:34 am (order 2F74D) totaling $30.39, which included tip and delivery charges. Unfortunately, three hot coffees were incorrectly made as hot chocolates. After filing an online complaint, I was refunded for the coffees but had already used money from others for the order and needed to replace the coffees. At 3:28 am, I had to place a second order at Dunks for $18.75 (order AB331) where, once again, I had to pay for delivery and tip. I am disappointed there is no clear way to address this issue formally with the delivery service. I believe I should be refunded the delivery and tip charges from both orders due to Dunks' error. It's essential for good customer service considering the amount I spend on UBEREATS.

The restaurant was just a short 5-minute drive away, and the driver was seen on the tracking map near my house at 4:40 for the delivery. Despite being in the vicinity, he claimed he couldn't locate the address. After reaching out to him with details and trying to call, he responded briefly but did not deliver the order. Instead, he drove away without explanation, only to return over 40 minutes later. The app falsely indicated a delay at the restaurant, though the driver had the food in hand. Unfortunately, the meal was cold and inedible due to the extended wait. I am requesting a full refund for this unacceptable experience with Uber Eats delivery.
