We booked an Uber for today at 11, but the driver did not come down the driveway which is about [redacted] feet away. When we walked out to the street, the driver wouldn't open the door or roll down the window, and just drove away at around 11:03 am on Dec 28, [redacted]. The car was a black crossover with Massachusetts plates. The driver was a white man around 50 years old, bald with a red beard. I was charged a $27 fee and would like this removed. I reached out to UBER around midnight on December 27th, from San Diego International Airport for a ride to Poway, CA. The driver arrived but said he couldn't take my 2 bags due to too much stuff in his trunk. I had to reschedule and was charged a cancellation fee. The next driver matched the details provided by the app but claimed my name was different. After making me wait in the cold while he checked his phone, he suddenly left without explanation, charging me a second cancellation fee. I called for a third time and after a long wait, the trip cost me $[redacted].84. Arriving home at 2:36 am, in the cold and rain without indoor waiting areas at the airport, at 67 years old, I believe I shouldn't be responsible for the cancellation fees as they were caused by the drivers' actions, and I request a significant refund or the full trip cost due to the inconvenience and unprofessional behavior encountered.

I created an Uber account a couple of months ago but have since changed my phone number and device. When I try to sign in, it prompts me with my old phone number for a confirmation code which I no longer have. Despite attempting to reset the password, it continually asks for the confirmation code tied to the outdated number. I received a message saying I disabled SMS messaging from Uber, which I didn't do. Despite attempting to enable it through texting, I keep encountering the same error. I simply want to access my account to start delivering with my new mode of transportation. I have sought help multiple times without success. The process of only confirming with the old phone number seems outdated, especially as people regularly change numbers. I can't use my old number or device to verify my account.

Yesterday, on 12/27/[redacted], I took a ride from [redacted] Ocean Drive to [redacted] SW 11th Avenue. The fare was $9.59, but the driver is charging me $[redacted] for cleaning the car, which I did not dirty. They are requesting the amount without any evidence that I made a mess in the car. Please investigate the situation as I am being charged for something I did not do without any proof or pictures of the incident. I hope to receive your prompt response.

I was charged for an Uber Pass without authorization. I would like to end my membership. I followed the steps you provided, but I cannot locate the Uber Pass option on my app. I need specific instructions on how to cancel it to avoid future charges.

I used Uber on Dec. 23 to go from [redacted] Oak Run Drive in Sarasota, Florida to Sarasota Airport, costing $13.56. On Dec. 30, I took another Uber from Sarasota Airport back to the same address, which cost $34.93. The price difference for the same distance is concerning to me. Can we discuss and potentially resolve this overcharge? Your service is appreciated, but I need clarification on this issue to continue as a customer. On Monday, December 27th, my Uber was supposed to arrive at 8:53 a.m. I was charged for the Uber that never arrived at the specified address, even after I sent my exact location. The driver's name is Elton, driving a Buick LaCrosse with plates 8KSY369. This is the second message I've sent without receiving a response. I have photos of the exact location I sent and of the driver, license plate, and the fare I was charged. My phone number is [redacted], and my email is [redacted].

I spoke with him on 12/29/[redacted], and he said he would return it. Please contact him to retrieve my phone. I understand that this is for safety reasons for both the drivers and riders, with the recordings being submitted to Uber. Could you please clarify whether these recordings are shared by Uber or the drivers? I am concerned about the potential privacy implications if these recordings were to be posted online on platforms like YouTube. I am experiencing difficulties ordering a car due to stop payments in my account. Despite this, I am certain I do not owe any money. When trying to place an order, I encounter no error messages regarding payments. The card on file is valid, as confirmed by my bank. Unable to reach a customer service representative for help, I am reaching out here in hopes of a prompt resolution. I rely heavily on your service, evidenced by my frequent use of Lyft and Uber. This message is sent on Monday, Jan 3, at 5:09. If I do not receive assistance by Friday, Jan 6, I will consider deleting my Uber and Lyft accounts and seeking alternative transportation options. We have been on a cruise since September but have been consistently charged $24.99 monthly. Given our circumstances of being on a ship with no use for Uber and residing on a small island with our own vehicle, these charges are perplexing. I attempted to resolve this online, but my email, [redacted], is unrecognized. My husband's email, [redacted], has a forgotten password, and the reset email hasn't been received. I am resolute in reversing the charges from October 7, November 7, and December 7 to prevent further accumulation before our return in March. I reserved a ride on 12/2/21 for 4 passengers, but the car provided was a Honda Civic which could only accommodate 3. Despite informing the driver, we were asked to cancel the trip. Subsequently, one of our group members booked another Uber. Later, when trying to book another ride, I was prompted to take a photo wearing a face mask as the previous driver alleged we were not complying with the policy. However, we were all wearing masks and did not encounter the driver of the Honda Civic at all. Please waive the necessity for a face mask photo as it was not warranted. I anticipate needing Uber services next week and hope to avoid any inconvenience.

Recently, my Uber account suddenly stopped working after I added $15 in Uber cash without any issues. However, each time I tried to request a ride, I received an error message prompting me to add another payment method, despite several attempts to do so. The frustrating experience led me to contact Uber support, only to discover that my account was disabled for violating terms & conditions. Surprisingly, I later found out that my boyfriend, concerned about my mobility, falsely reported me for unauthorized credit card use to intentionally disable my account. Now, I am unable to sign up again even with new details. I would like to regain access to my Uber account, especially since I now rely on Uber cards provided at a transitional house for survivors of domestic abuse. I hope to resolve this issue soon, as it has added unnecessary stress during an already challenging time.

I am writing to address my father's Uber account issue. My father, who is elderly and not tech-savvy, needed Uber for doctor appointments after emergency surgery. Despite having trouble with my own account, I tried to assist him in setting up his. Unfortunately, my ex-boyfriend falsely accused me of stealing his credit card information to add Uber cash to my account, causing it to be disabled. He somehow also managed to affect my father's account. As I was dealing with a breakup and domestic abuse situation, my father supported me by allowing me to use Uber cash cards given by a shelter. However, after adding funds to my father's account, it started having payment method errors, similar to what happened with my account. I believe my ex-boyfriend's actions are the cause. I am requesting Uber to restore both my and my father's accounts so we can continue using the service for essential appointments.

An Uber driver attempted to pick up my wife and daughter in the wrong car at a Walmart store, which led to her refusing the ride and requesting another Uber. Despite this, our credit card was still charged. The safety concern arises as in Houston, Texas, there have been incidents of Uber drivers kidnapping and assaulting female riders. We have been trying to contact Uber via phone and email with no response. This is extremely concerning and disappointing. If Uber continues to ignore our attempts to address this matter, we will have no choice but to involve a lawyer to take legal action against the company. The safety of customers should be a top priority, and the lack of attention to this issue is unacceptable. We feel compelled to share this experience to ensure that such incidents are prevented in the future.

I experienced two issues with Uber recently. The first ride was canceled without any notification, and I was charged $39.54 for a ride I didn't even take. Following that, my second booking showed a rate increase to $50, which is unreasonable considering the previous ride was cheaper. Upon reviewing my charges, I noticed I was overcharged $60.46. I am requesting a refund for the $39.54 for the ride I didn't take, and a price adjustment for the $60.46 to match the original $39.54 fare or refund the difference. On January 1st, my great-niece requested food via Uber, and I asked her not to exceed $10. I was surprised by the $18 charge and a $4 error fee. They assured me it would be reversed in a few days, but after following up, I was told it was past the 48-hour mark. I asked them to remove my details from the account. Recently, I noticed transactions on my account totaling $[redacted] on January 8, 9, and 10 that I did not authorize. This unexpected expense has caused me hardship. I accidentally left my wallet at my neighbor's house, who is also my best friend. When I went back to retrieve it, it was missing. Two other people were there that day, one of whom tried to use my cards for an Uber ride while we were searching for the wallet. Luckily, my Cash App card had no money, and my bank account was not linked. However, my wallet contained vital cards like health insurance, social security, and others essential for my family, especially with my wife's kidney and liver failure. We are in a tough situation financially and rely on dialysis frequently. I seek help identifying the Uber account owner who attempted to use my cards. I believe it was one of the two present when the wallet disappeared. Any assistance in recovering the important cards would be incredibly appreciated. Being nearly 60, I struggle with online processes and contacting support by phone is challenging nowadays. Any guidance would mean a lot during these difficult times.
