I inadvertently left my bag, which holds my wallet and keys, in an Uber. Immediately after realizing my mistake, I attempted to contact the driver, only to be informed by Uber that I had exceeded the call limit and needed to wait an hour. Contrary to their message, I hadn't tried to call the driver previously as we had not spoken on the phone during the ride. Despite my continuous efforts throughout the night to reach out, each attempt resulted in the same disappointing message. I also reached out to Uber support with detailed information about my lost items and contact details, but unfortunately, I have not had any success. This experience has left me feeling extremely stressed and disappointed.

I have made three payments to clear the due amount for a single trip, but my account was deducted three times, and there is still an outstanding amount in the portal. I am concerned and frustrated with this situation. I fear using Uber in the future and will refrain from using it starting now. It feels like I have been overcharged, and I would like my extra money refunded. Despite making multiple payments, the pending amount is not being cleared, and it seems like a fraudulent situation. I have my bank statement with transaction IDs as proof. Please assist me with this issue, or I will have to seek help elsewhere. I may have to escalate my concerns to a different platform to ensure others do not face a similar experience.

I recently updated my payment method on the app to reflect my new debit card details. However, when I try to book a ride, I encounter an issue. The app states I have a low Uber Cash balance, despite selecting my new debit card as the payment method. I am unable to proceed with the ride request due to this error. I am unsure why this is happening. If this problem persists, I might have to consider discontinuing my use of Uber whenever I encounter payment method changes in the future. - J. D.

On November 18th, I scheduled an Uber to drive me from the San Juan Airport to Caguas, PR. The agreed-upon cost was $19.17. When realizing I left my computer at the hotel, I planned to hire another Uber for the return trip. Surprisingly, the driver offered to take me back without mentioning any extra fees. I did not consent to any additional charges beyond the initial $19.17. After the trip, I received a bill totaling $[redacted].00, including unforeseen fees. I feel this is an excessive overcharge considering the calculated cost of $42.34 for the round trip, airport fee, and wait time. It is frustrating not being able to contact customer service directly for assistance, as all provided numbers seem to be for drivers rather than customers.

My son's friend, age 16, accidentally left his wallet in an Uber. It had $30, which was significant for him. Despite reporting it, the wallet was not returned, and I was charged a $15 wallet fee on Venmo without notification. The Uber driver claimed to have dropped it off at the office, but I was never informed. I refuse to pay to retrieve it. I demand an immediate refund of the $15 fee and the trip charge. How can Uber consider a wallet "returned" when I didn't get it back? I want a human response to address my concerns, not automated messages. I am considering switching to Lyft unless I receive a refund, apology, and possibly credit. It's unfair to charge for undelivered services and ignore customers. No contact number or proper assistance has been provided.

Earlier today at 01:26 am, I booked an Uber cab from Terminal 3 of Delhi Airport. A Wagon R arrived even though the estimate showed [redacted] Rupees. The driver took a longer route passing Terminal 2 and circling around T3 parking. When asked, he claimed he was following the Uber app. Throughout the ride, he was on the phone with many other driver friends. One of them met him near Rajouri Garden flyover, and they paused to chat. Upon arrival, he demanded Rs [redacted], displaying a bill which included parking fees. I questioned the fare breakdown, and he justified the total amount. However, upon taking a screenshot of the receipt, I saw he had only recorded a Rs [redacted] payment, which was incorrect. This is the third time such an incident has occurred. I request appropriate action be taken to refund the excess amount charged.

I placed an order with Hardee's in Cookeville, Tennessee, only to wait for over an hour to be told it was canceled. Despite this, I was still charged $17. I was promised a refund within two days, which has not happened yet. I can't find a contact number to reach out for assistance. I demand my money back promptly.

Yesterday morning, our driver, Felipe, did not follow our request to stay on the highway when driving us to the airport. Despite us insisting that the highway was the faster route, he chose to take an exit, ignoring both our instructions and the GPS guidance to return to the highway. This decision resulted in our journey taking twice as long as expected, causing us to miss our flight by minutes. As a result, we had to rebook our travel, incurring an additional cost of over $[redacted] for two new one-way tickets. This experience was extremely disappointing and has been our most unpleasant travel and Uber encounter to date.

I am an Uber driver in San Francisco. Last Friday, November 22nd, at 1:33 p.m., I processed an instant cash out. I authorized Uber to transfer the funds to my personal card ending in [redacted], but they mistakenly sent it to a different account I no longer have access to. Uber acknowledged the issue as a system error and advised me to contact GoBank, the recipient of the $[redacted].22 I earned that morning. Despite their assurance to resolve it, I was informed by Uber 48 hours later to reach out to GoBank and wait for a new card, which could take 7 to 10 days. I requested a $[redacted] inconvenience fee, but the customer support was unhelpful and insisted on waiting. Their support team in the Philippines seemed unable to assist effectively. It is frustrating as I consistently face payment issues, inadequate support, and language barrier challenges with their customer service. It is disheartening when they fail to rectify mistakes promptly and prolong the resolution process unnecessarily.

I was billed for rides I didn't take on Uber, although I don't have an account there. To prevent further charges, I cancelled my card. I also paid $1 for JustAnswer, but I didn't order a $49 account. I need the ride charges refunded and the $49 reversed ASAP. I strive to stay calm and kind with everyone, but this situation has been frustrating. I need assistance to resolve these issues promptly.

On the 30th of November [redacted], I booked a ride from Gurmandi to Madina. When I booked the ride, it showed me an amount of [redacted] rupees. I put the drop-off location in my village Madina. When we were on our way, the driver informed me that the location I entered was wrong as it was a mid-way point. I insisted it was correct, but the driver explained it was an incorrect spot. I asked what to do, and he suggested changing the location. I mentioned I didn't know how to do that. He asked for my phone to make the adjustment. When he made the change, the fare increased to [redacted] rupees. I questioned the increase, and he said he was unaware. I told him to keep the initial location to avoid higher charges. Even with the original spot, the fare did not decrease. I mentioned this, and he advised me to contact Uber. He dropped me off at the originally mentioned spot, but the fare was [redacted] rupees. Additionally, a toll charge of 60 rupees and a state tax of [redacted] rupees were included, which the driver said can only be paid online through the phone. In total, he charged me [redacted] rupees. This resulted in an extra cost of [redacted] rupees. When I confronted the driver, he suggested contacting Uber customer care, but I don't have their number. What should I do now? Please assist me.

I am writing to report an incident where the driver collected the full fare from the passenger for an outstation trip, even though the payment was already processed through my account via online transaction. The booking was made for another individual, so they are unable to address the matter immediately. I kindly request for prompt assistance in resolving this issue. I have also submitted a report through the app but have not received any feedback yet. I am disappointed with the lack of response from your customer service team in addressing and resolving this matter.

This was my first ride and it was a very disappointing experience for me. I booked a cab from Sec-56, Faridabad to Noida Dadri with a fare of $[redacted]. However, after just 10 meters into the ride, I changed my destination. The app showed me a fare range of $[redacted]-$[redacted], but during the ride, the driver refused to take me to the new destination. After much persuasion, he finally agreed. When we reached the final destination, the fare was way beyond the initially quoted price. The booking fare range was $[redacted]-$[redacted], but I ended up paying $1,[redacted], which is unacceptable to me. I am considering taking this matter to consumer court.

Over nine months ago, I visited Miami for 2 days. Since then, I have been charged $14.00 monthly for a service I am unable to use. Despite my numerous attempts to resolve this issue, I had to involve my credit card company to block the charges. Residing in Detroit, I rely on Uber for both business and personal use. By blocking the charges, I have received a message stating I cannot make private trips until I address the outstanding charges. As a premium member, I have extensively explored the help section but have not found a solution to this problem.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding a lost item incident on November 30th at around noon. I took an Uber from the airport to my destination and accidentally left my black headphones in the vehicle. The Uber ride was not booked under my account but under the account number [redacted]. The Uber driver can be contacted at [redacted]. I am unable to reach out directly to the driver since I was not the one who booked the ride. The driver has been informed by the account holder, and the headphones have been located. However, I would find it more convenient to communicate with the driver directly as I am not familiar with the account owner who contacted Uber. The account owner attempted to share my contact details with the driver via text, but Uber blocked the message. Any assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I've noticed four unauthorized charges totaling over $50 on my account within the last 10 minutes, including charges for Uber Eats which should be free as a platinum member. I am frustrated and believe I am owed at least $50 back. It's disappointing to hear that there's a fee just to speak with customer service. I hope this issue gets resolved promptly. My apologies to the customer service representative who receives this message, as it's not your fault, but the company has let me down despite being a loyal platinum member.

On Thanksgiving, I booked a ride to a family gathering through the app. Although it was supposed to arrive shortly, the car remained stationary for a while. I contacted the driver who explained he was delayed by the police. Considering the uncertainty of how long law enforcement might detain him, I decided to cancel and request another car. The driver agreed with my decision. However, I have now noticed a $5+ cancellation fee on my account. I believe this charge should be refunded as I should not be accountable for drivers' potential traffic issues. Please confirm once this refund has been processed. Thank you.

I have encountered three issues recently. Firstly, I mistakenly used the wrong card on Apple Pay for a payment, resulting in a notification indicating the transaction was unsuccessful. The payment for a previous ride remains outstanding, and the website provided in the email notification was inaccessible for me to rectify the payment error. Secondly, I was charged for a wait time despite my Uber driver arriving 10 minutes earlier than the estimated time provided by the app, and I reached my destination before the scheduled arrival time of the driver. Lastly, I strongly recommend including a phone number for customer service inquiries. The current communication method in place is inadequate for a company of this magnitude.

Upon reviewing my Uber receipts by email alongside my bank statements, discrepancies totaling over $30 have been identified. A sudden $7 charge emerged this morning, unaccounted for in any receipt or the app. Additionally, as a platinum member, I selected two free Uber Eats but did not receive the discount. I kindly request changing my gift to a $5 Uber credit and investigating these erroneous charges for a refund. Failure to resolve these issues promptly may lead to me switching to Lyft, as being overcharged for unjust reasons is becoming recurrent and frustrating.

On the afternoon of 11/29/[redacted], while driving on westbound Del Amo Blvd in Lakewood, CA, I noticed a Kia vehicle with an Uber logo. One out of three red brake lights was functioning, and the other two were not operational. The lower-left and middle-center brake lights did not illuminate when the lower-right one did. The California license plate number of the vehicle is 6NYF096. I would appreciate it if the driver could address this issue promptly.
