I was trying to either change the email address on my account or set up a new account. ... I used to have an Uber account with this phone number. I changed employers but kept my phone number. I am unable to setup a new account because the phone number is still tied to an existing account. That account has an email address that I cannot access to use the password reset process. I can provide all of my account info but cannot reset my password and I cannot create a new account. The email address on my account does not match the email I am using now (new employer). When corresponding with the automated "support" I receive the following reply "We received this email from a different email address than the one you initially used to contact us." which ends all support.*I want to change the email address on my account or be able to set up a new account. Ideally, I want a HUMAN to contact me since the automated process is broken.
Their automated "support" is flawed. As more mobile phone numbers are recycled, how can new customers set up accounts with their "new to them" phone number if the number was used by another customer in the past?
