Yesterday I took my first uber but I made some mistakes like getting one number wrong in my destination address but we figured it out. Several hours after the ride I checked the balance on my debit card and assumed that the uber charges would have gone through already. I had a $** and some change and proceeded to order cat food for the farel cats I feed from Walmart. Which left $*.** on my debit card. Today I was trying to figure out how or if I could use an uber to take me and a LOT of laundry I did at my friends house back to my house. I logged on to the app and it first thing asked me to rate my driver, of course FIVE STARS but there was also an option to tip the driver and buttons for I believe $* $* and $* were provided. I'd already tipped the driver yesterday so I did not click any of the buttons however the $* button was a different color than the $* and the $* but before that really registered in my mind my finger was already clicking the button to register my rating and I fear an unintentional $* tip for my driver that I don't even have enough for on my debit card. My account says the trip I took yesterday cost $*.** but a little box jumps up that says I have an outstanding payment of $* from my previous trip. I DID NOT WISH TO LEAVE ANY TIP THROUGH THIS APP AS I ALREADY TIPPED HIM YESTERDAY. I CHOSE NO AMOUNT AND I CLICKED NO BUTTON. If you have charged me or attempted to charge me both $*.** for the trip AND $* for a tip please cease and desist trying to charge me for the tip. If somehow this outstanding balance is for the actual trip, than I apologize for that but assumed the charges had already cleared before the driver would even pick me up, w*And it would also be weird because why would it say $* when it states in my account the trip cost $*.**? If the fault is mine in not knowing that the charges might take a day to post than I will need to deposit some money into another account as soon as I figure out how I'm going to get anywhere and then give you another card number as I am not permitted to add funds to the card you already have.
